The sixth generation (6G) mobile wireless networks are expected to provide massive ultra-reliable and low-latency communications (mURLLC) for data services, which require extremely stringent quality-of-services (QoS) with massive connectivity. Rate splitting (RS) multiple access schemes have been proposed recently for tackling the difficulty of the massive access yielded by a large number of mobile users (MUs) requesting to connect to a single base station. Massive multiple-input and multiple-output (massive-MIMO) communication is considered a promising solution to serve massive MUs in 6G wireless networks. However, how to apply RS schemes into massive-MIMO techniques to support the massive access has not been sufficiently studied. In this paper, we propose to integrate RS schemes with massive-MIMO techniques to achieve mURLLC transmissions under a Nakagamir $m$ fading wireless channel. First, we establish the system model for the integrated RS and massive-MIMO schemes. Then, we derive closed-form expressions for the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratios (SINRs) under a Nakagami- $-m$ fading channel and obtain the channel capacity. Finally, we use numerical analyses to validate and evaluate our proposed RS and massive-MIMO integrated schemes.

Significant effort has been devoted to the problem of guaranteeing stringent ultra-reliable and low-latency communications (URLLC) while introducing new requirements for better quality-of-services (QoS) over next generation wireless networks. One of the major design issues raised by URLLC is how to support explosively growing demands for delay-sensitive multimedia applications while guaranteeing ultra-reliability. Towards this end, there have been a wide spectrum of promising techniques, including statistical delay and error rate-bounded QoS provisioning, cell-free (CF) massive multiple-input-multiple-output (m-MIMO), finite blocklength coding (FBC), hybrid automatic repeat request with incremental redundancy (HARQ-IR) protocol, etc. However, when being integrated with FBC, how to rigorously and efficiently characterize the dynamics of mobile wireless networks in terms of statistical delay and error-rate bounded QoS provisioning for CF m-MIMO has imposed many new challenges not encountered before. To overcome these challenges, in this paper we develop statistical delay and error-rate bounded QoS analytical modeling schemes to characterize the FBC-based $\epsilon$ -effective capacity over 6G CF m-MIMO wireless networks using HARQ-IR. In particular, first we establish CF m-MIMO based system architecture models. Second, we apply a HARQ-IR protocol for deriving the channel coding rate, outage probability, and FBC based $\epsilon$ -effective capacity function using the Mellin transform. Finally, we conduct a set of simulations to validate and evaluate our proposed schemes.

This study addresses the critical aspect of data collection within Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), which consist of autonomous, compact sensor devices deployed to monitor environmental conditions. These networks have limited processing capacity, storage, short-range communication capabilities, and constrained battery power. A primary challenge in WSN s revolves around data gathering, particularly when employing static sinks, leading to premature energy depletion in nodes near these sinks. Integrating mobile collectors introduces the potential for energy conservation by shortening data routes. This article introduces three distinct algorithms for optimizing data collection in WSN s. Our approach involves an in-depth analysis of diverse strategies to mitigate packet collisions and facilitate the retransmission of lost packets. Our findings underscore the considerable impact that packet collisions can exert on the overall network performance during data gathering within wireless sensor networks. Through empirical exploration and analysis, we highlight the significance of these algorithms in enhancing the efficiency, energy conservation, and reliability of data collection processes within WSNs. This research sheds light on these algorithms' vital role in addressing the pressing challenges of data gathering and network performance optimization in wireless sensor networks.

Farmers have been facing a lot of difficulties in yielding crops in a healthy state. There has been work where Remote sensing technologies employed for getting real time information towards crop growth. Also work has been done in employing Machine and Deep learning for predicting the stages of apple growth, plant phenological and olive tree phenological stages. But in none of work, there has been an attempt to predict the stage of crop growth with a resource optimised Deep Convolution Neural Network (DCNN) model. So we in this work have performed comparitive analysis of three CNN models like VGG19, Xception and Mobile NetV2 for rice crop growth as case study in terms of accuracy, error and memory usage for resource constrained devices. This could help the farmer in assessing the stages of crop growth to take early action before it drastically affects the entire farm © 2022 IEEE.

Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs) are emerging and have huge prospects since they have various applications in oceanography, environmental monitoring, and underwater communication. These networks contain low-cost submerged sensors that are mostly connected by way of acoustic media. Sensors are relatively new to underwater research, and thanks to recent technological development, they can now function at different depths. In this article, the author explores what UWSNs must do to operate smoothly by exploring the basic features that they must meet for further development. Real-time Underwater communication remains an open problem due to underwater acoustic channels important for undersea data acquisition, undersea navigation, and undersea remote sensing. To mitigate such challenges and in light of the use of new technologies, researchers seek to improve the reliability and reliability of UWSNs. Finally, there is great potential with UWSNs for investigating and exploiting the underwater environment by improving scenarios of different domains in line with subaqueous data and communications.

The rapidly expanding applications of 5G networks necessitate strategic placement of Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) within Service Function Chains (SFCs) to minimize placement costs while delivering real-time services to users. The dual objectives of this efficient placement strategy are to simultaneously reduce resource usage costs and application service delays in the 5G network. Previous studies have limitations, typically constrained by fixed resource costs or by adopting a greedy approach for resource selection from nearby nodes. In this paper, we introduce a multi-objective linear programming (MOLP) based optimization framework designed for the placement of VNFs in SFC requests, considering a real-time pricing scheme of the resources and the demands of user applications. This framework allows for the analysis of the boundary performances regarding cost and delay, facilitating a balanced trade-off between the two. Given that this problem is proven to be NP-hard in large networks, we have also developed a Multi-Agent Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (MADDPG) algorithm, which leverages an attention model-based approach for the placement of SFC VNFs. This method focuses on neighboring nodes to help agents reduce the complexity of the solution and effectively capture the dynamic nature of the network environment. Simulation experiments demonstrate that our proposed system model surpasses existing state-of-the-art approaches in terms of resource placement cost and service latency. © 2024, The Authors. Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) has been widely recognized as one of the key techniques to improve secure communications performances. However, most existing works mainly focus on the passive beamforming, i.e., phase-shifts, design of a single IRS, without taking into account the cooperations among multiple IRSs and the optimizations of their relative positions. To overcome these deficiencies, in this paper we propose the joint optimizations between the transmit beamforming of massive multiple-input multiple-output (massive-MIMO) access point (AP) and double-IRS’ positions and passive beamforming over 6G secure mobile networks. In our proposed networking architectures, AP transmits data to multiple mobile users (MUs) through reflections of two cooperative IRSs under the existence of one eavesdropper (Eve). First, we formulate a secrecy rate optimization problem to maximize the expectations of all MUs’ aggregate secrecy rates when Eve’s exact position is unknown. Second, leveraging the deep reinforcement learning (DRL), we develop two joint deploying and beamforming schemes to tackle the uncertainty of Eve’s exact position. Finally, we validate and evaluate our developed schemes by conducting the extensive simulations, showing the significant performances improvements of our developed schemes through jointly optimizing IRSs’ positions/orientations and transmit-beamforming of massive-MIMOAP as the function of the predicted Eve’s deploying areas.

The Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is one of the technologies available to protect mobile ad hoc networks. The system monitors the network and detects intrusion from malicious nodes, aiming at passive (eavesdropping) or positive attack to disrupt the network. This paper proposes a new Intrusion detection system using three Machine Learning (ML) techniques. The ML techniques were Random Forest (RF), support vector machines (SVM), and Naïve Bayes(NB) were used to classify nodes in MANET. The data set was generated by the simulator network simulator-2 (NS-2). The routing protocol was used is Dynamic Source Routing (DSR). The type of IDS used is a Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS). The dataset was pre-processed, then split into two subsets, 67% for training and 33% for testing employing Python Version 3.8.8. Obtaining good results for RF, SVM and NB when applied randomly selected features in the trial and error method from the dataset to improve the performance of the IDS and reduce time spent for training and testing. The system showed promising results, especially with RF, where the accuracy rate reached 100%. © 2021 IEEE.

Microcomputers and medical devices with signal transceivers that operate on a specific radio display constitute the backbone of wireless sensor networks (WS Ns) that monitor environmental conditions (temperature, pressure, light, vibration levels, location). It is widely used in WAN sensor networks because of its flexible design and low setup fees. The u200b touch network allows for the connection of up to 65,000 devices, while the Intelligent sensors on other wireless networks are used to transfer data ports and assign wireless networks. Since the price of wireless solutions has been decreasing, and their functional capabilities have been growing, they are gradually replacing wired ones in telemetry data gathering systems and long- distance detecting communication. A deep learning model was used in this investigation to prevent the sensor nodes from manipulating data. Sensor nodes include a lot of parameters and estimations. If these projected data values are altered, network performance will suffer, and the node's lifetime will be reduced. Data security became a priority when the sensor nodes were distributed. This new method is 98.82% more efficient than the previous one. © 2023 IEEE.

With the commercial realization of the fifth generation (5G) wireless networks, the development of the sixth generation (6G) wireless networks has attracted considerable research attention. To meet the requirement of providing ubiquitous coverage, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) plays the key role in extending the line-of-sight area, and thus, has been proposed as a promising candidate technique in 6G wireless networks However, how to design an optimal UAV trajectory when it is moving and communicating with a base station or a mobile user in the network and how to guarantee the stability of the UAV's trajectory remain open problems. To address these issues, in this paper we design an optimal UAV trajectory, obtain the expression of the UAV's trajectory error, and propose a stability analysis mechanism to show that the UAV trajectory error is globally and asymptotically stable. First, we design the UAV optimal trajectory to maximize the communication performance while minimizing the energy consumption. Then, we derive a closed-form expression for the UAV trajectory in the transient state, which results in major trajectory errors, including the critical damping, underdamping, and overdamping. Third, we employ the control Lyapunov function to show that our developed UAV trajectory error correction scheme is globally and asymptotically stable under the feedback control law. Finally, we use numerical analyses to validate and evaluate our proposed UAV trajectory error control scheme.
