This paper presents a lightweight AXI DMA Controller architecture useful for embedded systems that do not require fully featured DMA controllers. Simulation is accomplished with VUnit, and implementation results are obtained on a Xilinx XC7Z010CLG400-1 FPGA. When compared with Xilinx's AXI DMA controller with the same configuration, the presented controller utilizes between 16 and 82% fewer resources with comparable speed. © 2023 IEEE.

Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) with non-monotonic access policies provides fine-grained access control for widespread applications like Cloud-assisted HealthIoT systems. In this context, multi-authority ABE with untrusted authorities eliminates the need for a trusted authority, but ensuring user's identity and attributes-set privacy against these authorities remains a significant challenge. This paper proposes a new, efficient multi-authority ABE approach that preserves user's identity privacy and attributes-set privacy, and is secure against collusion attack. Also, the proposed approach provides non-monotonic access policies, which supports positive and negative constraints using NOT operation as well as AND and OR operations. © 2023 IEEE.

A conceptual ontological model of Digital Crime has been developed, consisting of five non-empty classes. Identification and classification were carried out according to the experience of domestic and foreign experts. The central place of the model is occupied by objects of the Digital Crime class, which have their own attributes and are connected by various links with other objects. Objects of some classes are filled in by users, others are formed by knowledge engineers. Based on the ontological analysis, SWRL-rules are constructed that automatically form links between objects of the custom classes Digital crime and Digital evidence with objects of the Type of crime and Criminal Liability classes. The last class contains articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on criminal liability for digital crimes. The ontological model is developed taking into account possible requests to it. Such queries can be formed on the basis of direct relationships between human and automatic concepts. And also contain logical chains to concepts that do not contain an explicit link in the ontology. It is assumed that the model can be expanded and supplemented. The ontological model of Digital Crime can be used to share information, develop new systems and applications, improve information retrieval and ensure its accordance. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper delves into the potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) in revolutionizing business intelligence and inventory management through semantic parsing and text-to-SQL methodologies. It assesses various LLM models, such as DIN-SQL, DSP, NSQL, GPT, CoPilot, and LLaMa, elucidating their capabilities and contributions. Two critical analyses are presented here. The first compares cutting-edge LLM models using cosine similarity and cost efficiency metrics. The second analysis enhances GPT's precision through prompt engineerings, like few-shot techniques, and explores frameworks like DIN-SQL, NSQL, and DSP. DIN-SQL substantially boosts accuracy, and NSQL demonstrates potential in specific scenarios. This research underscores the transformative potential of LLM-driven models in business intelligence and inventory management. DIN-SQL, in particular, emerges as a game-changer with the potential to reshape inventory management practices. GPT showcases its versatility through fine-tuning for tasks beyond conventional programming, while CoPilot offers a cost-effective alternative. This study emphasizes the importance of cost-effectiveness in real-world applications, with LLaMa and CoPilot being practical choices. NSQL, with its budget-friendly and semi-accurate solution, holds promise for semantic parsing in growing companies. These insights are a foundation for further innovation, promising unmatched efficiency and competitiveness across industries in the evolving Artificial intelligence landscape. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, the utilization of location-based augmented reality (LAR) has gained popularity across various domains, including tourism, education, gaming, and advertising. The advancements in AR technology have made it easier to develop immersive LAR applications. ARCore, a widely adopted AR development library, enables the creation of location-based AR apps on Android devices. However, the implementation of ARCore in real-Time scenarios that demand significant computational resources, like outdoor pedestrian navigation, can vary depending on the chosen development environment. This research aims to explore and compare the running load performance of ARCore implementation in location-based AR applications developed with Unity and Android Native, which are two prevalent AR development platforms. The study involves building a prototype LAR application using both Unity and native Android, followed by comprehensive running load performance evaluations. The findings reveal that while both Unity and native Android apps can deliver compelling location-based AR experiences, native Android apps demonstrate superior performance and resource efficiency in outdoor scenarios, whereas Unity offers the advantage of multi-platform support and ease of development for complex 3D assets. These insights provide valuable guidance to developers in selecting the most suitable approach for developing location-based AR applications for navigation, aligning with their specific needs and requirements. © 2023 IEEE.

With the rapid advancement of electronic textiles, the design and integration of connectors have emerged as pivotal challenges. This study emphasizes the development of a connection solution that amalgamates miniaturization, efficiency, and reliability, specifically tailored for Flexible Conductive Silicone Circuits. A diversified connection scheme is proposed, incorporating elements such as snaps, Pogo pins, and conductive hook-and-loop fasteners, thereby achieving an innovative and pragmatic design. Through meticulous manufacturing processes, including the utilization of hot-melt adhesive, PET films, conductive fabric, and other multilayer materials, a connection system with low impedance and commendable conductivity was successfully engineered. Impedance test outcomes have indicated that the resistance at each connection point is less than 0.7 ohms, substantiating its superior electrical properties. In terms of assembly, this research demonstrates the precise interconnection of the controller and conductive fabric circuit, ensured by metal pin technology, leading to connection stability. This solution not only furnishes appropriate connection technology for specific application scenarios but also opens new avenues and directions for connection design within the domain of electronic textiles. © 2024 IEEE.

In an era of heightened digital interconnectedness, businesses increasingly rely on third-party vendors to enhance their operational capabilities. However, this growing dependency introduces significant security risks, making it crucial to develop a robust framework to mitigate potential vulnerabilities. This paper proposes a comprehensive secure framework for managing third-party vendor risk, integrating blockchain technology to ensure transparency, traceability, and immutability in vendor assessments and interactions. By leveraging blockchain, the framework enhances the integrity of vendor security audits, ensuring that vendor assessments remain up-to-date and tamperproof. This proposed framework leverages smart contracts to reduce human error while ensuring real-time monitoring of compliance and security controls. By evaluating critical security controls - such as data encryption, access control mechanisms, multi-factor authentication, and zero-trust architecture - this approach strengthens an organization's defense against emerging cyber threats. Additionally, continuous monitoring enabled by blockchain ensures the immutability and transparency of vendor compliance processes. In this paper, a case study on iHealth's transition to AWS Cloud demonstrates the practical implementation of the framework, showing a significant reduction in vulnerabilities and marked improvement in incident response times. Through the adoption of this blockchain-enabled approach, organizations can mitigate vendor risks, streamline compliance, and enhance their overall security posture. Our findings highlight the importance of employing blockchain to enforce security controls and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. This study presents a dipper-throated-based ant colony optimization (DTACO) with the Seasonal Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average with eXogenous factor (SARIMAX) model (DTACO+SARIMAX) to forecast monkeypox cases. The work optimizes the SARIMAX model using grid search cross-validation and fine-tunes its hyperparameters using DTACO to improve prediction accuracy. The suggested model's consistency and accuracy are considerable compared to previous studies. Comparisons with state-of-the-art models validate the proposed model's predictions. DTACO+SARIMAX can be used to control disease and monitor monkeypox. Healthcare organizations and governments can better manage and track the pandemic's course by offering accurate predictions, reducing public panic, and enabling effective pandemic planning. The Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Wilcoxon signed-rank tests are conducted on the proposed DTACO-SARIMAX model and compared models. © 2023 IEEE.

Nowadays, it is getting increased in the massive amount of internet users. People express subjective thinking (i.e., opinion) implicitly and explicitly on online platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Amazon product reviews, etc. Opinion holders are the people or entities who express opinions implicitly and explicitly on the online platform. With the increasing trends of online opinion mass information, it is impossible to detect them manually. For this reason, an automatic approach for opinion holder detection is essential. Opinion holder detection is useful to detect specific person's/entity's concerns about a particular topic, product, or problem. Opinion holder detection consists of two steps: the presence of opinion holders in text and identification of opinion holders. In this paper, we focus on the first step, namely the presence of opinion holders in text. We handle this task as a binary classification problem: INSIDE or OUTSIDE. At first, we prepare a new English dataset for this task. Then, we apply two types of pre-trained models, BERT and DistilBERT, to the INSIDE/OUTSIDE classification task. BERT is a transformer-based pre-trained language model. DistilBERT is a small, fast, cheap, and light model based on knowledge distillation from the BERT architecture. As to the binary classification task, we employ a logistic regression model on the top layer of the pre-trained models. We compare the language models employed in our experiment in terms of the F1 score and accuracy. The experimental result shows that DistilBERT obtained superior performance among the models: 0.901 on the F1 score and 0.924 on the accuracy. © 2022 IEEE.

Technological developments have impacts and challenges in human life. Technological advances have made human life easier. The impact of technological developments is the industrial manufacturing process getting faster with the help of robotics technology. Robots can shorten manufacturing process time and efficient. On the other hand, challenges with technological developments force us to keep learning and adaptive to every changes around us, especially in the education sector. In education sector, formal educational institutions or campuses must be able to facilitate students to be able to learn comprehensively in the field of technology, especially robotics, where we can make an innovative learning platform based on robotics technology. In this study, we discussed a 2-DOF arm manipulator robot as kinematics learning platform of industrial robot to increase student competencies in preparation for facing the industrial environment in century. Inverse kinematics equation has been applied in the robot by providing input coordinates on the x-Axis and y-Axis where the accuracy value on the x-Axis is 77% and the accuracy on the y-Axis is 83.1%. © 2023 IEEE.
