In Ad customization, several approaches are employed to improve the relevance level of the message for monitoring the user performance according to the prior search history (e.g., retargeting) or by gathering particular information related to the customer (e.g., micro-targeting). Occasionally, the consumers view the ad developed by the other user, in this situation, the ads are viewed as something that can be related by the user. The quantity of information that is gathered openly or secretly can affect the user choice for the content displayed. However, the users remain as recipients of a strategy, that decides the best ad content. Therefore, an exploring Generative Artificial Intelligence-based Dynamic Ad Customization model for enhancing viewer engagement from streaming media is developed. In this paper, the Generative Long Short-Term Memory (GenLSTM) model is developed for examining customized advertising then includes the customization of specific message elements by individuals, variation in the level of ad customization, and in some cases perceived collaboration with others. Here, the customization classification is defined based on the modification in the marketing mix element that is created by the customer proactively as opposed to the company. In regards to customized advertising, “ad is something that happens with the viewer”. The customization increases based on the sense of task engagement, strength of the perceived customer relationship with the company, attitude toward the ad, and perceptions of company trust/integrity. Finally, the experimental analysis is conducted based on the relationship with the company, company care, company trust, and task engagement to attain the overall impact on ad customization.

Change point detection methods try to find any sudden changes in the patterns and features of a given time series. In this paper a new change point detection method is presented, where the window width is automatically calculated. The proposed algorithm, AutoSW, is based on a Sliding Window search method of the Python ruptures package and uses a subset of statistical concepts to compute a possibly optimal window width. The proposed algorithm is compared with some other popular methods such as PELT using different real-world and synthetic time series. Results show that AutoSW can perform better than PELT producing a better set of change points in the time series tested. © 2022 IEEE.

This study analyses the weekly scheduling challenge of health and medical information network service function chains to meet medical emergency categorization and grading needs. Emergency services are divided into four sorts by urgency and service area, with priorities and weights. The health and medical information network architecture, service model, and operation method are built accordingly. To reduce weighted completion time, a service function chain scheduling model is created. The function chain scheduling scheme is solved by matching game and Q -learning reinforcement learning algorithms for different issue scales. Finally, simulation studies demonstrate that this approach can accomplish graded medical emergency service, build health and medical information networks, and progress smart healthcare. © 2024 IEEE.

We consider distributionally robust optimal control of stochastic linear systems under signal temporal logic (STL) chance constraints when the disturbance distribution is unknown. By assuming that the underlying predicate functions are Lipschitz continuous and the noise realizations are drawn from a distribution having a concentration of measure property, we first formulate the underlying chance-constrained control problem as stochastic programming with constraints on expectations and propose a solution using a distributionally robust approach based on the Wasserstein metric. We show that by choosing a proper Wasserstein radius, the original chance-constrained optimization can be satisfied with a user-defined confidence level. A numerical example illustrates the efficacy of the method.

Learning Transferable Negative Prompts for Out-of-Distribution Detection

Existing prompt learning methods have shown certain capabilities in Out-of-Distribution (OOD) detection, but the lack of OOD images in the target dataset in their training can lead to mismatches between OOD images and In-Distribution (ID) categories, resulting in a high false positive rate. To address this issue, we introduce a novel OOD detection method, named ‘NegPrompt’, to learn a set of negative prompts, each representing a negative connotation of a given class label, for delineating the boundaries between ID and OOD images. It learns such negative prompts with ID data only, without any reliance on external outlier data. Further, current methods assume the availability of samples of all ID classes, rendering them ineffective in open-vocabulary learning scenarios where the inference stage can contain novel ID classes not present during training. In contrast, our learned negative prompts are transferable to novel class labels. Experiments on various ImageNet benchmarks show that NegPrompt surpasses state-of-the-art prompt-learning-based OOD detection methods and maintains a consistent lead in hard OOD detection in closed- and open-vocabulary classification scenarios. By harnessing Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), Field-programmable Gate Array (FPGA), and advanced cracking techniques, the success rates of server-side threats on passwords have reached unprecedented levels. Honeywords, also known as decoy passwords, have emerged as a promising detection strategy against this threat scenario. However, existing work falls short in creating a trap to counter targeted guessing attackers (TgA) who exploit users' personal information to bypass honeyword-based traps. In this paper, we introduce two fundamental honeyword generation modules, namely NSecure-modifiedUI and ESecure-modifiedUI. Building upon these primary modules, we propose a hybrid honeyword-based strategy named NESec, which significantly enhances the ability to detect TgA 's activities. A comparative analysis showcases the usability advantages and security benefits of the proposed NESec approach. © 2023 IEEE.

The superiority of life for people with epilepsy can be greatly improved with the assistance of accurate seizure prediction and early warning. An automatic prediction model is required to procedure the EEG signals and account for the leads optimization problematic, as opposed to the majority of hand-designed prediction approaches. In this research, we put forth a fully automated model for seizure prediction using Channel and Spatial attention (CASA). The first step in the feature extraction practice is to pre-process the raw EEG signals. Large amounts of computation can be saved by adding more features to the system, but finding the right ones can be tricky. The African vulture optimization algorithm's (AVOA) strong capacity to break out of local optima is what makes this procedure possible. CASA saved the raw EEG data's temporal and geographical details. Automatic optimization of EEG full-lead data was completed with channel attention (CA), leading to an increase in the accuracy of predictions. The aforementioned adaptive learning of feature parameters was accomplished via spatial attention (SA). When all else fails, a fully associated layer is used to make the seizure forecast. The suggested algorithm is tested on the Freiburg EEG database, and the results reveal that the AVOA-based system performs admirably when it comes to predicting seizures.

The explosive adoption of IoT applications in different domains, such as healthcare, transportation, and smart home and industry, has led to the pervasive adoption of edge and cloud computing. Large-scale edge and cloud data centers, consisting of thousands of computing servers, are hungry-energy infrastructure exacerbating issues such as environmental carbon footprint and high electricity costs. Developing energy-efficient solutions for cloud infrastructure requires knowledge of the correlation between computing server resource utilization and power consumption. Power consumption modeling exhibits this relationship and is crucial for energy savings. In this paper, we propose PowerGen, a framework to generate server resources utilization and corresponding power consumption dataset. The proposed framework will aid academic researchers to formulate correlations between resources utilization and power consumption by using power prediction models, and evaluate energy-aware resource management approaches in an edge-cloud computing system. It will help edge and cloud administrators to evaluate the energy-efficiency of heterogenous severs architectures in a datacenter. We exemplify the applicability of the dataset, generated by our proposed framework, in power prediction modeling and energy-aware scheduling for green computing scenarios.

Deep learning approaches’ use in financial market forecasting has recently drawn a lot of attention from both investors and scholars. The Transformer framework, initially created for natural language processing, is used in this study to propose a revolutionary approach for forecasting the stock market indices of seven different economies: China, Canada, India, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The well-known Transformer architecture, which excels at capturing complex non-linear patterns, is modified to study the unique dynamics of each nation’s stock market. The model successfully determines the basic principles driving market behavior by using an encoder-decoder structure and a multi-head attention mechanism. The aforementioned indices are used in back-testing trials, which cover a variety of economic environments. The outcomes demonstrate that the Transformer performs better than conventional techniques, with Mean Squared Error (MSE) acting as a crucial evaluation criterion. Notably, the model shows promise for investors in these widely separated markets to receive excess profits. This study offers a thorough analysis of stock market forecasting, expanding its relevance to a wider global context. comprehension of how this strategy might adjust to various financial ecosystems is improved by the addition of seven unique economies. Future research may go more deeply into applications that are industry-specific and investigate potential extensions to additional international markets.

The widespread adoption of cloud storage enables users to remotely access resources through a self-service model. Utilizing pay-per-use storage services provided by cloud service providers (CSPs) requires users to commit financially to their resources. This paper introduces a Secure Cloud Storage (SCS) framework, offering a secure architecture for cloud storage using a consortium blockchain network to address trust issues. This framework substitutes the third-party auditor with peers of a consortium blockchain network, which handles the role of data storage and verification. Storage space is divided into uncommitted and committed segments. Uncommitted storage is used for storing unverified documents, while committed storage is reserved for documents that have been validated through a consensus mechanism. In contrast, committed storage is des-ignated for the storage of committed documents. Documents validated by a consensus threshold of peer nodes are moved from uncommitted to committed storage. The implementation of the SCS framework is conducted using Hyperledger Fabric, a modular blockchain platform optimized for permissioned networks. The security analysis demonstrates that SCS effectively protects cloud storage against attacks, including unauthorized access attacks, data integrity attacks, and malicious server attacks, while maintaining data integrity and auditability. The performance evaluation shows that document upload and retrieval times, block acceptance, execution times, and latency are all improved compared to state-of-the-art cloud storage techniques.
