Immersive learning has gained significant attention with the rising trend of spatial computing, particularly in the after-pandemic era. Numerous research has explored the potential of immersive learning in higher education, primarily on the educational sector. However, prior research has frequently focused too narrowly on the effects of technology and neglected to address the crucial element influencing successful immersive learning in higher education. This study seeks to pinpoint the crucial element contributing to the development of immersive learning experiences. The methodology uses a systematic literature review (SLR) from 2018 up to 2023 to investigate the critical factors of immersive Learning in Higher Education. From the 728 papers initially retrieved, 274 were considered potential candidates, and ultimately, 86 articles were selected based on their relevance to the research question. The results reveal that the critical factors include learning design, technology, immersion, engagement, interactivity, and usability. Academic interests will benefit from this SLR's consequences as institutions create models for designing suitable immersive learning, especially within the context of higher education. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents the development of a multilingual hate speech detection model that effectively processes and classifies content in both Arabic and English. The study leverages both traditional machine learning models, such as K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Naive Bayes, and Support Vector Machines (SVM), as well as advanced deep learning models, specifically Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM) networks. A key challenge addressed is the classification of mixed-language content, which is common on social media platforms in the MENA region. To enhance detection performance, preprocessing techniques were applied to the text data, and the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) was used to balance the dataset. The results show that the Bi-LSTM model outperformed traditional machine learning approaches, particularly in identifying hate speech across multiple languages. The proposed model demonstrates superior accuracy and robustness in handling mixed-language input, providing a more effective solution for real-world hate speech detection tasks. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Digital Marketing is a product marketing strategy using digital media and internet networks. Nowadays, digital marketing is a necessity for companies that thrive in the digital world. It greatly affects the growth of MSME (Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises) especially when it comes to increasing their sales performance by enhancing their brand awareness through various media or instruments such as a Facebook ad, Instagram advertising, Search Engine Optimization, and Search Engine Marketing. This research is aimed to measure how much impact of digital marketing utilization into Micro, Small, Medium enterprises. On the other hand, it also provides an understanding on what are the best digital marketing method to be utilized in the current situation. The method we used in this paper is quantitative. Data were collected through various questions constructed in an electronic questionnaire. This research provides a reference of digital marketing strategies for Micro, Small and Medium business owners. The Internet of Things (IoT) is rethinking the model for building the smart cities, and this paper makes just such a step in that direction. It then examines various ways of cutting urban pollution. Under increasing pressure from rising urbanization, smart cities represent a huge leap forward in regard to efficiency, scalability and livability. The key is IoTtechnology, which collects and analyzes data in real time and allows for more quick-witted and intelligent urban governance. This paper combines literature review, case study analysis and data-driven methods to focus on the opportunities offered by IoT applications for restructuring urban traffic systems and pollution control. This study explains what is missing in modern smart city initiatives, and offers a road map for bringing Internet of things solutions to municipal systems. The results can also serve as some answers to cope with the dilemma and bring more intelligence, cleanness, efficiency in making a city into a smart metropolis. The article ends by highlighting the significance of IoT for future urban development, and ideas for further research into this complex yet rapidly evolving area. © 2024 IEEE.

Road is an essential transportation infrastructure to move people and goods to support economic prosperity. The efficiency, safety, security, and comfort of people have significant consequences by damage and defects on the road surface. A good-condition road ensures the land traffic runs well. This research is a collaboration between the Bandung institute of technology and the department of Public Works and Spatial Planning of West Java Province to develop a smart system for road damage surveys. The system was built by leveraging machine vision and IoT technologies to improve the performance of the road survey activities. The previous road damage detection, classification method, and pavement condition index (IKP) computation were performed semi-automatically. The proposed survey system developed in this work uses the Canny edge Detection algorithm and MobileNet V2 architecture to detect road defects automatically. The pavement condition index computation also improved by using the interpolation reduction factor. The system is designed into a four-layer architecture that consists of several functions and modules, i.e., the sensor system that includes a vision sensor, GPS and odometry, a hardware embedded system using a microcontroller, and machine learning to process the road condition image automatically, and a dashboard application to reveal the road condition on map. The performance resulted in accuracy, precision, recall, and F-score of the road damage detection are 54.5%, 24.2%, 78.9%, and 37%, respectively.

In the In the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), intelligent decision-making is performed by objects with cognition. by comprehending both the social and physical worlds, Cognition Radio Network (CRN) is seen as a workable option. The existence of dangerous devices (MD) further impairs network performance, although For services to be improved and safety metrics to be driven, spectrum availability and information exchange among vehicles are crucial. Recently, a blockchain approach has been added to CRN-based IoV to stop data modification from these Entities and enable the cars to monitor both legal and illegitimate network activity. In this paper, we provide security to IoV throughout spectrum sensors and details transfer using CRN by sensing the paths through with a decision-making technique called Method for Order Personal taste by Similarity to a Solution (topsis (TOPSIS), a technique that inspires the confidence of its Behavioral Users (CU) by analysing certain predefined attributes. The network also maintains a blockchain to track every action involving information that has been saved. Using different frequency sensing and security settings in comparison to an IoV baseline solution, the suggested method is thoroughly evaluated against a number of security criteria. Numerous simulations indicate that when compared to the baseline system, our suggested approach is around 70% more effective at identifying malicious nodes and DoS threats. © 2022 IEEE.

Electricity theft is a type of cyberattack posing significant risks to the security of smart grids. Semi-supervised outlier detection (SSOD) algorithms utilize normal power usage data to build detection models, enabling them to detect unknown electricity theft attacks. In this paper, we applied feature engineering and ensemble learning to improve the detection performance of SSOD algorithms. Specifically, we extracted 22 time-series and wavelet features from load profiles, which served as inputs for the seven popular SSOD algorithms investigated in this study. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed feature engineering greatly enhances the performance of SSOD algorithms to detect various false data injection (FDI) attacks. Furthermore, we constructed bagged ensemble models using the best-performing SSOD algorithm as the base model, with results indicating further improvements in detection performance compared to the base model alone.

The aim of this study was to create an Internet of Things (IoT) system that can monitor and control temperature and humidity in oyster mushroom production from a distant location. This system was developed with the goal of improving efficiency and the quality of the mushroom yield. The implementation of the system involved the utilization of a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller, which was combined with DS18B20 and DHT22 sensors. The system was then managed by a Telegram bot, enabling continuous operation throughout the day. The findings revealed substantial enhancements in efficiency, as the duration for monitoring and watering decreased from 471.6 seconds to 5 seconds. Additionally, there was a noteworthy reduction in the proportion of suboptimal mushrooms, declining from 12% to 1.72%. The findings indicate that the system offers a dependable and efficient alternative for maintaining ideal environmental conditions, resulting in improved crop quality and decreased labour requirements. The deployment of this technology signifies a significant progression in precision agriculture, providing tangible advantages for small-scale mushroom cultivators and establishing the foundation for future improvements in automated agricultural systems.
