This paper presents our vision of new-generation mobile communications networks from networking perspective and their capabilities to be offered: fast and large-capacity handover, cross-network handover, cross-device handover, and interworking between real and cyber worlds. The main objective of the paper is to introduce how the concept of tensor HOSVD can be carried over to the TP (tensor product) dynamic models, namely, how we can define and generate the "HOSVD like" decomposition of linear parameter varying (LPV) dynamic models. We term this decomposition as HOSVD based canonical form of TP model or polytopic model form. The key idea and the basic concept of this decomposition was proposed with the TP model transformation based control design methodology. The novelty of this paper is to present the mathematical background of this concept. The paper shows convergency theorems how the TP model transformation is capable of reconstructing this HOSVD based canonical form numerically. The proofs of the theorems are lengthy, therefore they are omitted. The paper also presents numerical examples to show the applicability, efficiency and uniformity of the numerical reconstruction

Transactional-retail data, probably the data with the largest scientific and financial interest, still remains the most examined data category in the field of data mining. The prominent model for handling such data has long been a rather naïve one that treated items as flat Boolean variables, ordered in various ways in order to facilitate efficient counting and to reduce complexity. In this work we propose a novel view of transactional data for data mining, which is based on a spatial, a temporal or a spatiotemporal component inherent in such data. Finally we propose a method for handling this data efficiently.

With this work we aim to make a three-fold contribution. We first address the issue of supporting efficiently queries over string-attributes involving prefix, suffix, containment, and equality operators in large-scale data networks. Our first design decision is to employ distributed hash tables (DHTs) for the data network's topology, harnessing their desirable properties. Our next design decision is to derive DHT-independent solutions, treating DHT as a black box. Second, we exploit this infrastructure to develop efficient content based publish/subscribe systems. The main contribution here are algorithms for the efficient processing of queries (subscriptions) and events (publications). Specifically, we show that our subscription processing algorithms require O(logN) messages for a N-node network, and our event processing algorithms require O(l × logN) messages (with l being the average string length). Third, we develop algorithms for optimizing the processing of multi-dimensional events, involving several string attributes. Further to our analysis, we provide simulation-based experiments showing promising performance results in terms of number of messages, required bandwidth, load balancing, and response times.
