Fake news, Fake certification, and Plagiarism are the most common issues arising these days. During this COVID-19 situation, there are a lot of rumors and fake news spreading and some of us are using fake certification to avoid vaccination and plagiarism became the most common topic during online studies. It is found that several apps and websites are present for the detection of false news and plagiarism. However, there is no single website for the detection of fake certificates. Moreover, nothing is made that consists of all these features in one platform. So, this proposed work develops a website for detecting fake news, Fake certificate, and plagiarism detector. The proposed method uses Natural Language Processing techniques for detecting NPC (news, plagiarism, and certificate). The proposed work uses image processing with some Python libraries like OpenCV in all the detections and that makes it quite interesting. For detecting NPC (news, plagiarism, and certificate) the algorithm is built using a k-mean model, logistic regression, and neural network. The proposed work uses the datasets that are trained using the count vectorizer method for the detection and to get its accuracy which will be tested using machine learning algorithms. The proposed method has shown an accuracy rate of 94.28% on Logistics Regression in comparison to existing methods. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

Owing to massive technological developments in Internet of Things(IoT)and cloud environment,cloud computing(CC)offers a highly flexible heterogeneous resource pool over the network,and clients could exploit various resources on *** IoT-enabled models are restricted to resources and require crisp response,minimum latency,and maximum bandwidth,which are outside the *** was handled as a resource-rich solution to aforementioned *** high delay reduces the performance of the IoT enabled cloud platform,efficient utilization of task scheduling(TS)reduces the energy usage of the cloud infrastructure and increases the income of service provider via minimizing processing time of user ***,this article concentration on the design of an oppositional red fox optimization based task scheduling scheme(ORFOTSS)for IoT enabled cloud *** presented ORFO-TSS model resolves the problem of allocating resources from the IoT based cloud *** achieves the makespan by performing optimum TS procedures with various aspects of incoming *** designing of ORFO-TSS method includes the idea of oppositional based learning(OBL)as to traditional RFO approach in enhancing their efficiency.A wide-ranging experimental analysis was applied on the CloudSim *** experimental outcome highlighted the efficacy of the ORFO-TSS technique over existing approaches.

Query based biomedical document retrieval for clinical information access with the semantic similarity

The amount of exploration done for the available medical literature is quite less and at the same time, there is less awareness of information mining in this specific field. The accessibility of immense quantity of biomedical literature has opened up additional opportunities to apply Information Retrieval and NLP methods for mining existing archives. Therefore, a query based retrieval application (QBR) based on hybrid similarity of string and semantic similarity can help medical professionals in their ongoing research. There are multiple benefits of utilizing various NLP applications, for example, information retrieval engine, and clinical diagnosis frameworks for decision support in medical field. These applications depend on the capacity to gauge Hybrid textual similarity (HTS) and N-Gram similarity. Hybrid similarity is the combination of weighting function and word embedding models providing similarity scores with optimum results. In this work, the main focus is on building of a new biomedical document retrieval model which can pull relevant literature for clinical decision support system based on the specific query. There is also an attempt to compare the statistical and NLP based approaches of query based biomedical document retrieval with the baseline systems. A Hybrid Regularized Multilayer Perceptron for Input Noise Immunity

The immunity of multilayer perceptron (MLP) is less effective toward input noise. In this article, we have focused on the robustness of MLP with respect to input noise where noise can be additive or multiplicative. Here, we have proposed a DropConnect-based regularized MLP to reduce the coadaptation among the neurons of the hidden layer. At first, we have empirically and statistically shown that by reducing coadaptation among the hidden neurons, an MLP can achieve better noise immunity. We have also empirically shown that an MLP with input noise injection and $l_{2}$ regularizer is an effective approach to improve its noise immunity. However, the results indicate that it does not adjust the coadaptation among the hidden neurons. Therefore, for further improvement, we have proposed a hybrid regularized MLP (HRMLP), where DropConnect is combined with the noise injection and $l_{2}$ regularizer. In addition to input noise, we have also verified the robustness of HRMLP with respect to $\mathbf {20\%}$ outliers in the dataset. To justify the effectiveness of the proposed HRMLP, we have compared it with MLP, MLP with noise injection, MLP with $l_{2}$ regularizer, MLP with noise injection and $l_{2}$ regularizer, and MLP with DropConnect along with two state-of-the-art works based on $\mathbf {20}$ standard datasets. The experimental results for both noisy inputs and outliers confirm that the performance of HRMLP is significant compared to other methods. © 2020 IEEE.

Diabetes has become one of the significant reasons for public sickness and death in worldwide. By 2019, diabetes had affected more than 463 million people worldwide. According to the International Diabetes Federation report, this figure is expected to rise to more than 700 million in 2040, so early screening and diagnosis of diabetes patients have great significance in detecting and treating diabetes on time. Diabetes is a multi factorial metabolic disease, its diagnostic criteria are difficult to cover all the ethology, damage degree, pathogenesis and other factors, so there is a situation for uncertainty and imprecision under various aspects of the medical diagnosis process. With the development of Data mining, researchers find that machine learning and deep learning, playing an important role in diabetes prediction research. This paper is an in-depth study on the application of machine learning and deep learning techniques in the prediction of diabetics. In addition, this paper also discusses the different methodology used in machine and deep learning for prediction of diabetics since last two decades and examines the methods used, to explore their successes and failure. An innovative Telugu text summarization framework using the pointer network and optimized attention layer

Summarizing lengthy text involves distilling crucial information into a concise form by covering the key events in the source text. Previous researchers mostly explored the supervised approaches for the task, but due to its strong reliance on the quality of text features, the resulting summaries often lack precision and coherence. The performance of the state-of-the-art summarizers becomes poor when applied to various Indian languages due to several challenges. The current research paper proposes a summarization approach for Telugu text based on a Pointer Network with an Optimised Attention Layer (PN-OAL). In this approach, the attention layer’s weights are adjusted using a hybrid optimization method that combines the Fusion of Coyote Optimization and Squirrel Search method (FCO-SSA). Weight optimization is conducted in order to address the goal function, which involves the maximization of the cosine similarity between the source text and the summary text. A novel loss function is incorporated within the framework of the constructed network architecture to generate a robust summary. The proposed approach is experimented with alternative baseline approaches in order to validate its efficacy for summarizing Telugu documents. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Identification of Human Activity from Video Streaming Smartphone Data Using Intensified VGG16

Human activity recognition (HAR) techniques pick out and interpret human behaviors and actions by analyzing data gathered from various sensor devices. HAR aims to recognize and automatically categorize human activities using patterns and attributes taken from sensor data. HAR is complex in implementing the algorithm for a self-recorded dataset, including challenges such as age variation, wearing different clothes, environment and surface, the direction of the smartphone camera, and many more. The paper aims to propose a VGG16 deep learning framework including an activation function and different optimizers for classifying human activity from the real-time captured dataset;further, we compare the evaluated results with existing results. The proposed methods achieved 99.88% accuracy with excellent precision, recall, and F_measure values. Comparing the evaluated result with existing outcomes over the WISDM and UCI-HAR datasets. The new things in the article are a self-captured dataset of various aged male, female, and healthy volunteers to perform seven activities. Furthermore, this research uses Tensor Processing Units (TPU) available on Kaggle to improve classification accuracy while reducing error rates and speeding up execution. ©2025 The author(s).

PODBoost: an explainable AI model for polycystic ovarian syndrome detection using grey wolf-based feature selection approach

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a recurring endocrine disorder that primarily affects women of reproductive age. It is difficult to diagnose due to its heterogeneous characteristics and overlapping symptoms with other illnesses. As a result, accurate and trustworthy prediction models are required to detect PCOS early. This research work aims to develop ML methods that predict the risk of PCOS among women based on demographic and clinical features. The entire framework is divided into four phases: in Phase I of the study, the SMOTE-Tomek Links (SMTL) technique balances the data set by combining oversampling and undersampling approaches. A novel meta-heuristic-based feature selection approach, the Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) method, has been employed to select the most crucial features from the dataset, explained in Phase II. Subsequently, in Phase III, a hybridized classifier PODBoost algorithm (Polycystic Ovarian Disorder Boosting algorithm) is devised for faithful early prediction of PCOS using the concepts of different classical supervised learning algorithms. Finally, Explainable AI (XAI) such as the Local Interpretable Model-Agnostic Explanations (LIME) tool has been implemented to interpret relevant predictions made by the proposed classifier. The proposed algorithm is examined utilizing numerous metrics such as Accuracy, Error-Rate, ROC-AUC Score, Recall, Precision, and F1-Score. Among all the evaluated models, the proposed hybridized model has shown an impressive performance with an exceptional accuracy of 97.42%, indicating its superiority by delivering outstanding results. Based on the findings, the novel meta-heuristic-based feature selection method significantly impacts the outcomes of the proposed hybridized PODBoost algorithm.
