Plant diseases create significant challenges to productivity in agriculture, food security, and ecological stability. Pathogens and environmental variables interact to cause plant diseases. Pathogens include various microorganisms like bacteria, fungi, and viruses, each with unique modes of spread. Environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and soil quality impact disease development and severity. The impacts of plant diseases are far-reaching. It affects crop yields and quality. Outbreaks of plant diseases can lead to economic losses, and food shortages which ultimately lead to hunger and poverty. Effective management of plant diseases requires an integrated approach that combines detection, preventive measures, cultural practices, and chemical interventions. The solution has two modules. The first module focuses on detection of plant diseases and its management. The second module focuses on recommendations of the plant cycle. Our proposed system utilizes CNN algorithms trained on a large amount of datasets. Using image analysis the features are extracted and patterns are recognized. Therefore, the system can quickly identify the disorders.. The system also includes suggestions for preventive measures. The system integrates modules for recommending optimal plant cycles to the farmers and gardeners. It generates personalized recommendations for planting schedules and crop varieties. This system increases crop yields and decreases the risk of disease outbreaks. Our solution offers a holistic approach to plant health monitoring and management. © 2024 IEEE.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) significantly impacts patient quality of life and is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality. This paper introduces an innovative algorithm for diagnosing acid-base disorders in COPD patients, incorporating traditional and advanced methodologies like the Henderson-Hasselbalch equation and Bedside Stewart Method. The algorithm enhances the accuracy and speed of Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analysis, crucial for COPD management. We present a comprehensive approach that includes a Gamblegram for visualizing acid-base balance and a sophisticated system architecture employing Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for efficient ABG report processing. Our findings demonstrate the algorithm's efficacy in providing rapid, detailed analysis, markedly reducing treatment initiation time. This advancement holds significant potential in revolutionizing COPD patient care by improving diagnostic accuracy and treatment strategies for acid-base disorders. © 2024 IEEE.

Cybersecurity safeguards computer systems, net- works, and digital information from a wide variety of cyber-attacks. Its major purpose is to protect the privacy of users' data and resources while maintaining their integrity and making them accessible in the digital world. Cybersecurity is an area that receives investment from businesses, individuals, and governments all around the world in order to secure sensitive information, key infrastructure, and digital assets. Protection of Sensitive Information Both individuals and businesses store huge amounts of sensitive information digitally, including personal data, financial records, intellectual property, and trade secrets. This information must be protected in order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure. The protection provided by cybersecurity prevents this information from being stolen, exposed, or accessed without authorization. Cyberattacks can result in severe financial losses, including theft of funds, fraud, and the expenditures associated with recovering from a cyber incident. It is possible to prevent these types of losses by taking preventative measures. Implementing these strategies helps prevent losses of this nature. In this paper, we propose a system architecture of a generic secure system, which can be deployed for various applications, i.e., smart healthcare, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), smart city, etc. We discuss the threats and attacks in cyberspace. Then, we explain the requirements of cybersecurity. Further, we discuss the devastation in the absence of cyber security. We also explain the cybersecurity deployments and techniques under cybersecurity. Then, in the end, some future research directions for cybersecurity are provided. © 2024 IEEE.

In today's world, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are transforming many industries, but they rely on huge amounts of data leading to privacy issues. A better alternative is Federated learning. Federated Learning involves training the model from multiple sources using the decentralization technique, meaning each device trains the model on its local data thereby reducing the strain on the single server. This is useful in cases where the data is too large to be sent and maintained on a central server or in handling privacy and security concerns. Cybersecurity is a prime domain where vulnerable attacks and breaches can be prevented using this technique. Other domains like finance, healthcare, IoT etc. have transformed the idea of data-driven decisions. This paper gives an insight into the concept of Federated learning and why it is a better choice. It includes the various algorithms that can be implemented in multiple applications depicted through a comparative analysis. IoT applications often rely on battery-powered nodes that may be challenging to recharge, making energy efficiency a crucial concern. In this context, routing protocols play a vital role as they dictate the paths data packets take between nodes, directly influencing the energy consumption of IoT networks. Energy-aware routing protocols have been proposed to address this issue, with the aim of optimizing energy consumption by selecting paths that minimize the energy required for data transmission and reception. These protocols employ various strategies, such as distance-based, traffic-based, and hybrid schemes, to achieve energy efficiency in IoT networks. LoRaWAnprotocol has been adopted for various IoT applications with requirements in low-power and extended coverage. Over the recent years attempts have been made to replace the typical star topology employed by LoRa with multihop solutions, in an effort to further increase its capabilities. In this paper, we present a multihop algorithm that is based on an energy-balanced routing scheme adopted by LoRa nodes to increase energy efficiency and network lifetime. Multiple one-hop routes are configured for critical nodes and a different route is selected in each transmission. Additionally, critical nodes adjust their Spreading Factor and Transmission Power according to the distance of intermediate nodes. Simulation testing results verify the improved performance of our algorithm over the direct link approach. © 2023 IEEE.

The current paper proposes a new approach for peripheral speech emotion analysis and gender estimation incorporating the best machine learning architectures such as CNNs and LSTMs. Its correct depiction of emotions and the variation of the gendered speech to indicate manifold signal-to-noise ratio make the approach accommodate the difficulty inherent in recognizing emotions from the recording of voices as well as predicting the gender of a speaker. It is then able to ally with preprocessing and collection of a vast range of different speech samples, feature extraction of pitch, tone and spectral data. These features serve as input to the CNNs and LSTMs: LSTMs work well at temporal regular features and the CNNs work well in feature extraction by location (spatio feature). The approach is tested on the RAVDESS and IEMOCAP datasets and establishes a near perfect match to prior approaches with reference to recognition accuracy of emotion analysis and gender prediction. Thus, applying the identified dual method approach, which could be described by such characteristics as highly accurate data pre-preprocessing, clear indication of the features of interest, a different CNN-LSTM model joint training, it offers a reasonably good platform to gain certain insights into such characteristics of the speech as our experiment demonstrates. This work offers satisfactory configurations on concerns such as human computer relation, customer relation and mental health surveillance to suggest that other applications could be achieved in future. © 2025 IEEE.

Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the leading causes of deaths globally, mainly in low- and middle-income countries. Early and accurate detection is crucial for effective treatment and disease control. In this paper, models like CNNs-VGG16, ResNet, and DenseNet, to name a few, are taken into an exhaustive study. Optimization techniques, including transfer learning and ensemble methods, which can increase accuracy in the challenging diverse clinical settings, will be presented. Equitable healthcare outcome is achieved in terms of future research directions which include representative datasets and interpretability of the model. © 2025 IEEE.

Deepfake technology, known for its ability to produce convincingly face-swapped videos, presents significant risks to privacy, security, and public trust. Misuse of this technology for spreading misinformation, defamation, and influencing politics is on the rise, creating a pressing need for more effective detection mechanisms. As deepfake generation methods continue to advance, conventional detection techniques are increasingly unable to keep up, often falling short in accuracy and adaptability. This project aims to create an AI-driven detection system specialized in identifying face-swap deepfakes. The system focuses on subtle irregularities in facial details, movements, and the synchronization between audio and visuals. Employing neural network models such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks, and Capsule Networks, it pinpoints anomalies like unnatural expressions, atypical skin textures, and lighting inconsistencies. The system achieves high reliability with metrics including accuracy (96%), precision (95%), recall (94%), and F1 score (95%), showing marked improvement compared to traditional techniques. It outperforms existing methods such as XceptionNet (92%) on the Celeb-DF dataset, underscoring its superior generalizability and robustness. This scalable solution has broad applications in media, law enforcement, and cybersecurity, reinforcing efforts to combat deepfake threats and fostering improved trust and security across various sectors. © 2025 IEEE.
