This work proposes a user-friendly, multilingual platform leveraging Generative AI to address farmers' diverse needs. The platform encompasses various features to enhance agricultural practices. An LLM-powered Government Scheme Advisor functions as a multilingual chatbot offering intelligent guidance on government agricultural schemes and subsidies. The Disease Detection module utilizes AI technology for real-time identification and treatment recommendations, minimizing crop diseases and yield losses. The Soil Testing Centre feature locates nearby soil testing centers, providing essential information based on geographical data to assist farmers in optimizing soil quality. A Crop Recommendation feature employs Machine Learning algorithms to offer personalized crop recommendations, considering various factors and aiding informed decision-making. The Crop Planning Tool, with its intuitive user interface, simplifies planning planting schedules and managing resources. Additionally, the platform includes an MSP Center Locator to find nearby Minimum Support Price (MSP) centers based on location. A machine learning approach for skin lesion classification on iOS: implementing and optimizing a convolutional transfer learning model with Create ML

The integration of machine learning (ML) into mobile applications presents unique challenges, particularly in resource-constrained environments such as iOS devices. Skin lesion classification is a critical task in dermatology, where accurate and efficient diagnostic tools can significantly aid in early detection of malignant lesions. This study aims to implement a machine learning-based iOS mobile application and develop a binary classification model for skin lesion images to determine whether a lesion is malignant. The research utilized Create ML to develop a convolutional neural network optimized for iOS, employing a transfer learning approach. A logistic regression model was cascaded with the convolutional neural network N to enhance classification accuracy. The model's performance was assessed through various validation metrics, ensuring its robustness and efficiency within the constraints of mobile hardware. A curated dataset from the International Skin Imaging Collaboration archive was used for training and testing. The model achieved an accuracy of 92%, a precision of 90%, a recall of 93%, and an F1-score of 91% in classifying skin lesions. These metrics validate the model's efficacy in identifying malignant lesions. Data curation involved collecting, labeling, and preparing a dataset from publicly available sources, ensuring the inclusion of diagnostically relevant features. The final model was integrated into an iOS application using Core ML and Vision frameworks. The developed application demonstrates reliable performance in classifying skin lesions with high accuracy on iOS devices. The inclusion of comprehensive performance metrics justifies the efficacy of the proposed approach. Future work will explore enhancements in model architecture and object detection capabilities to further improve diagnostic precision and application usability. © 2024 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

Exploration of Semantic Priming Studies in Native Language of Children:Study on Bengali L1 and English L2 Bilingual Children

Word Priming is an event in which prior subjection to a particular word impacts the reply of the individual to the upcoming correlated word. The response time is inferred to be less in identifying the target word preceded by an associated word compared to the word in seclusion or isolation as per the experiments undertaken on an Indian language where research incorporates Bengali-speaking children. Bengali is an important language of consideration on national and international platforms. A set of twenty-one school-going children with ages in the range of 7 to 10 years are subjected to a word priming assessment. Analysis established a positive impact of word prime in the reaction of a set of children aged seven to ten to certain listed words Due to the presence of word prime, the average error measure of the lower progressing answerers reduced by a significant 19.8%. With reference to the Bengali script, the average error measure is 10 percent. With the involvement of the word prime, the mean error measure is 1.6 percent. This paper proposes first of its kind of research studies and analysis with regard to the positive effect of word priming on the response time of target word identification on Bengali speaking bi-lingual dyslexic children to yield positive results. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

With the vigorous development of cloud computing, most organizations have shifted their data and applications to the cloud environment for storage, computation, and sharing purposes. During storage and data sharing across the participating entities, a malicious agent may gain access to outsourced data from the cloud environment. A malicious agent is an entity that deliberately breaches the data. This information accessed might be misused or revealed to unauthorized parties. Therefore, data protection and prediction of malicious agents have become a demanding task that needs to be addressed appropriately. To deal with this crucial and challenging issue, this paper presents a Malicious Agent Identification-based Data Security (MAIDS) Model which utilizes XGBoost machine learning classification algorithm for securing data allocation and communication among different participating entities in the cloud system. The proposed model explores and computes intended multiple security parameters associated with online data communication or transactions. Correspondingly, a security-focused knowledge database is produced for developing the XGBoost Classifier-based Malicious Agent Prediction (XC-MAP) unit. Unlike the existing approaches, which only identify malicious agents after data leaks, MAIDS proactively identifies malicious agents by examining their eligibility for respective data access. In this way, the model provides a comprehensive solution to safeguard crucial data from both intentional and non-intentional breaches, by granting data to authorized agents only by evaluating the agent’s behavior and predicting the malicious agent before granting data. The performance of the proposed model is thoroughly evaluated by accomplishing extensive experiments, and the results signify that the MAIDS model predicts the malicious agents with high accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-scores up to 95.55%, 95.30%, 95.50%, and 95.20%, respectively. Workout Action Recognition in Video Streams Using an Attention Driven Residual DC-GRU Network

Regular exercise is a crucial aspect of daily life, as it enables individuals to stay physically active, lowers thelikelihood of developing illnesses, and enhances life expectancy. The recognition of workout actions in videostreams holds significant importance in computer vision research, as it aims to enhance exercise adherence, enableinstant recognition, advance fitness tracking technologies, and optimize fitness routines. However, existing actiondatasets often lack diversity and specificity for workout actions, hindering the development of accurate recognitionmodels. To address this gap, the Workout Action Video dataset (WAVd) has been introduced as a significantcontribution. WAVd comprises a diverse collection of labeled workout action videos, meticulously curated toencompass various exercises performed by numerous individuals in different settings. This research proposes aninnovative framework based on the Attention driven Residual Deep Convolutional-Gated Recurrent Unit (ResDCGRU)network for workout action recognition in video streams. Unlike image-based action recognition, videoscontain spatio-temporal information, making the task more complex and challenging. While substantial progresshas been made in this area, challenges persist in detecting subtle and complex actions, handling occlusions,and managing the computational demands of deep learning approaches. The proposed ResDC-GRU Attentionmodel demonstrated exceptional classification performance with 95.81% accuracy in classifying workout actionvideos and also outperformed various state-of-the-art models. The method also yielded 81.6%, 97.2%, 95.6%, and93.2% accuracy on established benchmark datasets, namely HMDB51, Youtube Actions, UCF50, and UCF101,respectively, showcasing its superiority and robustness in action recognition. The advent of autonomous vehicles has revolutionized the automotive industry, offering promising advancements in safety, efficiency, and mobility. To integrate these autonomous vehicles into our society seamlessly, it is imperative to establish a robust licensing system that ensures the safe operation of automated vehicles on public roads. This article presents an effective smart Driving Licensing System (SDLS), a digital framework designed to regulate the existing licensing system and authorize licensing for autonomous vehicles. Through a comprehensive assessment process, the system assesses the drivers and the autonomous vehicle’s ability to navigate various road conditions, respond to dynamic environments, and prioritize safety for passengers and other road users. SDLS integrates high-level security through facial and fingerprint verification for identity verification to preserve licensing data. Hacking and unauthorized access to autonomous vehicles is prevented by robust cybersecurity protocols. The key benefits of SDLS include automated data collection, integration of wireless sensor networks (WSN) and Internet of Things (IoT), smart application processing, real-time license checks, cybersecurity measures, automated testing, and digital certification. The proposed system offers a comprehensive approach to safely integrating autonomous vehicles into our transportation ecosystem. The autonomous vehicles are integrated with antennas at rooftops or into bumpers, depending upon the vehicle design which can be connected with the SDLS for signal communication. Furthermore, the SDLS establishes a framework for continuous monitoring and updates, enabling ongoing assessments to keep pace with evolving technology and safety standards. © 2024 by Begell House, Inc.
