It is a widely accepted fact that state-sponsored Twitter accounts operated during the 2016 US presidential election, spreading millions of tweets with misinformation and inflammatory political content. Whether these social media campaigns of the so-called "troll" accounts were able to manipulate public opinion is still in question. Here, we quantify the influence of troll accounts on Twitter by analyzing 152.5 million tweets (by 9.9 million users) from that period. The data contain original tweets from 822 troll accounts identified as such by Twitter. We construct and analyze a very large interaction graph of 9.3 million nodes and 169.9 million edges using graph analysis techniques and a game-theoretic centrality measure. Then, we quantify the influence of all Twitter accounts on the overall information exchange as defined by the retweet cascades. We provide a global influence ranking of all Twitter accounts, and we find that one troll account appears in the top-100 and four in the top-1000. This, combined with other findings presented in this paper, constitute evidence that the driving force of virality and influence in the network came from regular users - users who have not been classified as trolls by Twitter. On the other hand, we find that, on average, troll accounts were tens of times more influential than regular users were. Moreover, 23% and 22% of regular accounts in the top-100 and top-1000, respectively, have now been suspended by Twitter. Heart disease problems are growing day by day in the world. Many factors are responsible for increasing the chance of heart attack and any other disease. Many countries have a low level of cardiovascular competence in predicting heart disease-related issues. Finding the best accurate machine learning classifiers for various diagnostic uses by data mining and machine learning techniques aids in predicting whether or not the heart disease-related issue will occur. To predict heart disease, a number of supervised machine-learning algorithms are used and their effectiveness are evaluated. With the exceptionof MLP and KNN, all applied algorithms had their estimated feature significance scores for each feature. This helps to find the main factors affecting heart disease and the accuracy of the model, which helps to get the best prediction. At the end of the research the support vector machine gives us 87.91 % highest testing accuracy compare with all applied machine learning algorithm. © 2022 IEEE.

Smart city-aspiring urban areas should have a number of necessary elements in place to achieve the intended *** controlling and management of traffic conditions,increased safety and surveillance,and enhanced incident avoidance and management should be top priorities in smart city *** the same time,Vehicle License Plate Number Recognition(VLPNR)has become a hot research topic,owing to several real-time applications like automated toll fee processing,traffic law enforcement,private space access control,and road traffic *** VLPNR is a computer vision-based technique which is employed in the recognition of automobiles based on vehicle number *** current research paper presents an effective Deep Learning(DL)-based VLPNR called DLVLPNR model to identify and recognize the alphanumeric characters present in license *** proposed model involves two main stages namely,license plate detection and Tesseract-based character *** detection of alphanumeric characters present in license plate takes place with the help of fast RCNN with Inception V2 ***,the characters in the detected number plate are extracted using Tesseract Optical Character Recognition(OCR)*** performance of DL-VLPNR model was tested in this paper using two benchmark databases,and the experimental outcome established the superior performance of the model compared to other methods.

3D bioprinting is gaining immense importance in the biofabrication of organs, cartilages, bones, tissue repair or regeneration in tissue-engineered applications, personalized medicine, tailored therapies, and pharmaceutical testing. This study envisages the types of controls employed in the production of 3D printed bioimplants, which is either implemented through the use of digital control or action perceived with respect to response to stimuli, using various materials, printing techniques, and enabling technologies of Industry 4.0. Different search strings like 'enabling technologies' and 'controls' are used in the 3D printing of bioimplants, which are confined to computer science for the exploration of scientific literature from the Scopus database. The systematic literature review methodology of the extracted literature gives an insight into critical concepts, present status, publication trends, research domains, a survey of controls implemented in 3D printing of bioimplants since inception, and presents research directions for future work. This article underscores the significance of 3D bioprinting for business managers and practitioners in terms of opportunities and challenges, business model innovation, decision-making, costbenefit analysis, regulatory landscape, ethical and societal considerations, supply chain integration, market adoption barriers, and helping organizations achieve sustainability, precise control, biodegradability, efficiency, reliability, safety, and collaboration © 1973-2011 IEEE.

The theses is in line with works aimed at studying the possibility of using mathematical algorithms for parallel processing of information in reverse blockchain technology. The paper examines the use of parallel signal processing algorithms to improve the speed and quality of control systems for autonomous dynamic objects using reverse blockchain technology. The use of reverse blockchain technology is due to the possibility of loss of control signals and, at the same time, the inadmissibility of loss of control in the event of changes in the conditions and parameters of the operation of the obj ect. The purpose of the work is to analyze the implementation of solutions for parallel information processing for various models of industrially produced equipment and to develop solutions to increase the efficiency of reverse blockchain technology when using parallel data processing. © 2024 IEEE.

Statistical models, enhanced by deep learning techniques, have become pivotal in various predictive tasks, including financial forecasting. This paper addresses the challenge of predicting cryptocurrency prices, utilizing a dataset comprising various cryptocurrencies treated as time series. We employ several deep neural network architectures-including Multilayer Perceptrons (MLP), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Long Short-Term Memory networks (LSTM), and Bidirectional LSTM networks-to forecast future prices. Our methodology involves a detailed analysis of cryptocurrency time series to inform the design of these networks. The performance of each model is rigorously compared, highlighting their predictive capabilities in the context of cryptocurrency markets. This study not only contributes to the empirical literature by applying advanced neural networks to high-volume financial data but also provides a comparative analysis that may guide future applications of deep learning in economic forecasting.

Mobile edge cloud (MEC) has emerged as a critical technology for enabling low-latency and real-time mobile device applications. However, an efficient resource allocation framework for improving the user experience in MEC with heterogeneous users is still missing, especially considering the recent sparks of AI-generated content applications. This paper proposes a double-closed-loop online resource allocation (DORA) framework for user experience improvement. This framework employs inner and outer loops to construct the optimal online allocation strategy and recommend a suitable strategy for different types of users, respectively. Based on the DORA framework, we put forth OR2A-HetU, an Online Resource Recommendation and Allocation algorithm for Heterogeneous Users, to solve this resource allocation problem. The OR2A-HetU algorithm proceeds sequentially and can converge to the optimal solution when the time horizon is sufficiently large. The numerical results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the baseline algorithms, and the user complaint rate decreases from 48.8% to 27.5% when the available resources increase. © 2024 IEEE.

As the world's population ages, more and more people will need assistance with daily tasks, such as making sure their homes are safe and secure for themselves and their loved ones. This study presents a new smart switch technology that aims to make houses safer, more independent, and more comfortable for older people. The smart switch uses the Internet of Things (IoT) and an intuitive user interface to make it easy for the elderly to control their household appliances, which in turn reduces the likelihood of accidents and allows caregivers to remotely monitor their well-being. This switch has been meticulously designed to meet the unique physical and cognitive requirements of older users by actively involving those users in the design process. Initial research shows that users' home environment management skills significantly increase, which has a favorable effect on their everyday lives and overall health. By improving the lives of elderly people who live independently, the study does double duty: it advances smart home technology and meets a pressing social need. © 2023 IEEE.

This study introduces a label-free biosensing method for biomolecule detection utilizing an InP/AlGaAs charge plasma dielectric-modulated vertical tunnel field-effect transistor (InP/AlGaAs VTFET) featuring TaN as the metal gate. The device comprises a nanocavity beneath the gate metal adjacent to the tunnelling junction, where biomolecules engage with the dielectric material, resulting in fluctuations in the drain current. A twin metal gate architecture with laterally split dielectrics is employed to eliminate short-channel effects. The biosensor has exceptional sensitivity, attaining a peak drain current sensitivity of $2.5 \times 10$ cm2 for biomolecules such as albumin (k = 7). The gadget proficiently identifies biomolecules with varying dielectric constants and charge distributions, enabling adaptable label-free detection of diverse targets. The study examines the influence of dielectric constant on critical metrics such as Energy Band Diagrams, Drain Current, Drain Sensitivity, and subthreshold swing (SS). The overlap between the source and pocket regions, along with the introduction of an auxiliary gate, optimizes the electrical characteristics. Simulation results show that the proposed InP/AlGaAs VTFET achieves a maximum sensitivity of $3.5 \times 10 ^{3}$ , outperforming configurations without overlap ( $2 \times 10 ^{3}$ ), highlights the potential of proposed InP/AlGaAs VTFET for scalable, high-sensitivity, label-free biomolecule detection.
