Accurate segmenting of brain tumors has become a challenge recently. Manual segmentation needs experts with high skills and takes a long time. This challenge motivates several researchers to introduce various models to solve the problem with different degrees of success. The main issue with these models is that the model accuracy increased proportionally with model complexity, which may develop further difficulties in the improvement stage. Thus, this paper aims to implement a low-complexity model with several layers less than the standard U-Net, achieving higher accuracy than the state-of-the-art models. The proposed model has obtained more than a 40% reduction in layers and better performance than the available models. The dataset BRAST 2018 is employed with a total image of 7750. The proposed model attained a 0.9222 dice score, 98.99% accuracy, and 0.1889 loss value. The findings indicate that this model has promising applications and can be used in clinical settings to segment different brain tumor sub-regions. Such models facilitate the tumor localization and classification stages.

Secret Image Sharing (SIS) is the technology that shares any given secret image by generating and distributing n shadow images in the way that any subset of k shadow images can restore the secret image. However, in the existing SIS schemes, the shadow images will be easily tampered and corrupted during the communication, which will pose serious security issues. Recently, blockchain has emerged as a promising paradigm in the field of data communication and information security. To securely communicate and effectively protect the secret image data in wireless networks, we propose a Blockchain-based Secure and Efficient Secret Image Sharing (BC-SESIS) scheme with outsourcing computation in wireless networks. In the proposed BC-SESIS scheme, the shadow images are encrypted and stored in the blockchain to prevent them from being tampered and corrupted. The identity authentication-enabled smart contract is deployed to achieve the (k,n) threshold for secret image restoring. Furthermore, to reduce the computational burden of smart contract and users, an efficient outsourcing computation method is designed to outsource the restoring task, which is securely implemented by agent miners in the encryption domain. Theoretical analysis and extensive experiments demonstrate that the BC-SESIS scheme can achieve desirable communication security and high computational efficiency in the wireless networks. © 2023 IEEE.

Natural Language Processing nowadays provides scientists with many research areas and opportunities, but as with most applied sciences, our goal in Natural Language Processing is to refine the underlying science and technology until it can be used reliably for business purposes. Transformer models, such as GPT or BERT, are currently showing outstanding results in the field of natural-language processing, but they require huge computational power and data to teach, but these conditions can only be met by larger research centers and large companies, and their inaccuracy makes them unsuitable for use as a 'business as usual' (BAU) solution. In this paper, we present a solution that is able to overcome these problems by focusing on accuracy and usability, and that can also bring a new perspective to the process of teaching deep learning models. © 2023 IEEE.

Information security has emerged as a key problem in encryption because of the rapid evolution of the internet and ***,the progress of image encryption techniques is becoming an increasingly serious issue and considerable *** space of the key,encryption-based low confidentiality,low key sensitivity,and easily exploitable existing image encryption techniques integrating chaotic system and DNA computing are purposing the main problems to propose a new encryption technique in this *** our proposed scheme,a three-dimensional Chen’s map and a one-dimensional Logistic map are employed to construct a double-layer image encryption *** the confusion stage,different scrambling operations related to the original plain image pixels are designed using Chen’s map.A stream pixel scrambling operation related to the plain image is ***,a block scrambling-based image encryption-related stream pixel scrambled image is *** the diffusion stage,two rounds of pixel diffusion are generated related to the confusing image for intra-image ***’s map,logistic map,and DNA computing are employed to construct diffusion operations.A reverse complementary rule is applied to obtain a new form of DNA.A Chen’s map is used to produce a pseudorandom DNA sequence,and then another DNA form is constructed from a reverse pseudorandom DNA ***,the XOR operation is performed multiple times to obtain the encrypted *** to the simulation of experiments and security analysis,this approach extends the key space,has great sensitivity,and is able to withstand various typical *** adequate encryption effect is achieved by the proposed algorithm,which can simultaneously decrease the correlation between adjacent pixels by making it near zero,also the information entropy is *** number of pixels changing rate(NPCR)and the unified average change intensity(UACI)both are very near to optimal values.

This paper presents some of the designed and experimentally-tested low-cost electronic modules, utilized for the creation of a sensor tier for the generic, multi-service, cloud-based operational platform EMULSION, which is being elaborated for rapid building of mobile Internet of Things (IoT) systems and roll-out of corresponding IoT services. The next step is to achieve full integration of the designed modules with various other existing components with different processing and communication capabilities, as to allow 1,000,000 heterogeneous IoT nodes, deployed at the sensor tier of the platform, to communicate simultaneously online within a single EMULSION cluster. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Most modern businesses run their competitive operations online. Cybersecurity is crucial to commercial operations. No cybersecurity defensive solution is universal. Standard security strategy involves using hardware and software to counter known security threats that may become stronger over time. Attackers and security professionals fight constantly. A security approach based primarily on tools is untenable. However, some firms skip employee awareness training, resulting in biased cybersecurity breach decisions. This study objectively analyzes key factors that help enterprises and organizations deploy Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) to find ways to maintain such protection. A dataset of UK corporate cybersecurity breach surveys is used to perform performance testing on eight supervised learning models. The entire research uses the model's built characteristics that are excellent at recognizing SETA-adopting enterprises and organizations. The trial shows that awareness is vital when organizations use SETA. Many firms don't know how to safeguard employees from cybersecurity risks when they use online products and services, such as external web services. © 2024 IEEE.

The concept of the internet in the future will prioritize content, by reducing delays in data transmission. Named Data Networking (NDN) is a content-based future internet concept that changes the paradigm of using IP. Inside the NDN router, there are three data structures, namely Content Store (CS), Pending Interest Table (PIT), and Forwarding Information Base (FIB). Pending Interest Table (PIT) contains a list of unfulfilled interests. This condition occurs when the node has not received a response after the interest forwarding process. Measurable and fast PIT performance is a challenge in Named Data Networks. In this study, we will try to do a simulation to measure and analyze the performance of PIT in NDN in the Palapa Ring topology. The research was conducted using the NDNSim simulator, to see the performance in the PIT. The simulation and analysis of the results show that the granularity of a prefix has an effect on In Satisfied Interest in an NDN network. At the number of interests of 100, the result obtained from the simulation is that there is a decrease in the percentage of interest data served, amounting to more than 20%. At the amount of interest in 1000 about more than 30%. The length of the prefix and the number of interest sent by the consumer affect the performance of the PIT, seen from the number of In Satisfied Interests. © 2022 IEEE.

Visual Place Recognition (VPR) in areas with similar scenes such as urban or indoor scenarios is a major challenge. Existing VPR methods using global descriptors have difficulty capturing local specific region (LSR) in the scene and are therefore prone to localization confusion in such scenarios. As a result, finding the LSRs that are critical for location recognition becomes key. To address this challenge, we introduced Patch-NetVLAD+, which was inspired by patch-based VPR researches. Our method proposed a fine-tuning strategy with triplet loss to make NetVLAD suitable for extracting patch-level descriptors. Moreover, unlike existing methods that treat all patches in an image equally, our method extracts patches of LSR, which present less frequently throughout the dataset, and makes them play an important role in VPR by assigning proper weights to them. Experiments on Pittsburgh30k and Tokyo247 datasets show that our approach achieved up to 9.3% performance improvement than existing patch-based methods. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper presents an analysis of a data set to determine the factors influencing airline passenger satisfaction. The study examines various criteria such as gender, customer type, age, travel type, class, and range to assess their impact on passenger satisfaction. The dataset consists of 25 columns, including attributes like Wi-Fi availability, convenience of online booking, seat comfort, in-flight entertainment, baggage handling, and overall satisfaction. The sample is relatively balanced, with equal representation of men and women, predominantly repeat customers, and a majority flying for business purposes. Key findings include a strong correlation between departure and arrival delays, higher satisfaction among passengers in business class, and positive ratings for Wi-Fi service correlating with overall satisfaction. Correlation analysis reveals interdependencies between different attributes, such as the influence of cleanliness on seat comfort and food and beverage ratings. In addition, a neural network forecasting model is used to estimate the average ratings of passengers, although with low accuracy, which was later excluded. Finally, a decision tree algorithm is utilized to identify the most significant attributes affecting passenger satisfaction words. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
