Cooperative coevolution (CC) algorithms, based on the divide-and-conquer strategy, have emerged as the predominant approach to solving large-scale global optimization (LSGO) problems. The efficiency and accuracy of the grouping stage significantly impact the performance of the optimization process. While the general separability grouping (GSG) method has overcome the limitation of previous differential grouping (DG) methods by enabling the decomposition of nonadditively separable functions, it suffers from high computational complexity. To address this challenge, this article proposes a composite separability grouping (CSG) method, seamlessly integrating DG and GSG into a problem decomposition framework to utilize the strengths of both approaches. CSG introduces a step-by-step decomposition framework that accurately decomposes various problem types using fewer computational resources. By sequentially identifying additively, multiplicatively and generally separable variables, CSG progressively groups nonseparable variables by recursively considering the interactions between each nonseparable variable and the formed nonseparable groups. Furthermore, to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of CSG, we introduce two innovative methods: a multiplicatively separable variable detection method and a nonseparable variable grouping method. These two methods are designed to effectively detect multiplicatively separable variables and efficiently group nonseparable variables, respectively. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that CSG achieves more accurate variable grouping with lower computational complexity compared to GSG and state-of-the-art DG-series designs. © 2024 IEEE.

In the modern era, water pollution poses a serious threat to marine ecosystems, leading to damage to aquatic life and in turn, a disastrous impact on long-term environmental threat. The system proposes advanced computer vision techniques to detect and classify the waste trash in the underwater environment. Methods like You Only Look Once (YOLO) and AUVs(Autonomous Underwater Vehicles) have practical limitations that reduce their effectiveness in underwater settings. To overcome the challenges and constraints, a novel algorithm Adaptive Multi-Modal Fusion Transformer (AMFT) is proposed for waste detection in an enhanced way. The proposed work compares the contemporary object detection framework, YOLO model, and AMFT. The system uses datasets with images of underwater with trash including plastic wastes, aluminum wastes and other debris for training and testing. The advantage of the proposed work is cost effectiveness and scalability. Waste hotspots can be identified and cleanup operations can be performed with high priority. The experimental results infer that AMFT based detection system performs extraordinarily well by achieving accurate waste recognition in different underwater conditions, like varying light levels and turbidity. The combination of advanced computer vision techniques and real-time detection capabilities, the system offers a sustainable and scalable solution for identifying underwater waste, for cleaner water bodies and a more sustainable future. The experimental results showed that the accuracy of the clear water system exceeded 94%, while in dirty water conditions, accuracy decreased slightly but remained above 82 %

Cloud computing has developed for its storage and accessibility of data, providing flexibility, scalability, and affordability. But its extensive use has also resulted in cyberattacks and unauthorized access. The traditional intrusion detection mechanisms become ineffective for different attack patterns, insider attacks and zero-day exploits. This paper provides an efficient way to address this issue by providing a mechanism to identify the threat based on the behaviour of the user. Unlike traditional approaches this paper provides a system that monitors the user behaviour patterns considering the features such as login history, authentication attempts, session duration, file access activities, password change frequency and IP location modifications. By considering these features the attack can be detected, and the data access is restricted to prevent from unauthorized access. This paper provides handling of attack with a combination of machine learning algorithms including SVM, Decision tree and XBoost, these help in distinguishing between the attacker and the authorized user. This helps in identifying complex attack behaviours and detect insider threats. Additionally, RSA encryption is integrated to secure data transmissions, preventing unauthorized access. By combining behavioural analysis, attacks prediction, and encryption, this provides a robust cybersecurity framework. © 2025 IEEE.

In recent years, the Internet of Things (IoT) technology has developedby leaps and bounds. However, the large and heterogeneous networkstructure of IoT brings high management costs. In particular, the low costof IoT devices exposes them to more serious security concerns. First, aconvolutional neural network intrusion detection system for IoT devices isproposed. After cleaning and preprocessing the NSL-KDD dataset, this paperuses feature engineering methods to select appropriate features. Then, basedon the combination of DCNN and machine learning, this paper designs acloud-based loss function, which adopts a regularization method to preventoverfitting. The model consists of one input layer, two convolutional layers,two pooling layers and three fully connected layers and one output ***, a framework that can fully consider the user’s privacy protection isproposed. The framework can only exchange model parameters or intermediateresults without exchanging local individuals or sample data. This paperfurther builds a global model based on virtual fusion data, so as to achievea balance between data privacy protection and data sharing computing. Theperformance indicators such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1 score, and AUCof the model are verified by simulation. The results show that the model ishelpful in solving the problem that the IoT intrusion detection system cannotachieve high precision and low cost at the same time.

To support increasing demands for real-time multimedia wireless data traffic, there have been considerable efforts toward guaranteeing stringent quality-of-service (QoS) when designing massive multiple-input and multiple-output (m-MIMO) mobile wireless network architectures for massive ultra-reliable and low-latency communications (mURLLC). One of the major design issues raised by mURLLC is how to characterize QoS metrics for upper-bounding both delay and error-rate when implementing short-packet data communications, such as finite blocklength coding (FBC), over highly time-varying m-MIMO based wireless fading channels. To efficiently accommodate statistical QoS for mURLLC traffic, it is crucial to model and investigate m-MIMO based wireless fading channels' stochastic-characteristics by defining and identifying new statistical QoS metrics and their analytical relationships, such as delay-bound-violating probability, effective capacity, decoding error probability, etc., in the finite blocklength regime. However, how to rigorously and efficiently characterize the stochastic dynamics of m-MIMO mobile wireless networks in terms of statistically upper-bounding FBC-based both delay and error-rate QoS metrics has been neither fundamentally understood nor thoroughly studied before. To overcome these challenges, in this paper we develop analytical modeling techniques and frameworks for statistical delay and error-rate bounded QoS in the finite blocklength regime. First, we establish system models using FBC. Second, we develop a set of new statistical delay and error-rate bounded QoS metrics including delay, error-rate, and joint-delay/error-rate QoS-exponents, and the corresponding ?-effective capacities. Finally, our simulations validate and evaluate our developed modeling schemes for statistical QoS to support 6G mURLLC. © 2023 IEEE.

Zeroing neurodynamics methodology,which dedicates to finding equilibrium points of equations,has been proven to be a powerful tool in the online solving of problems with considerable *** this paper,a method for underwater acoustic sensor network(UASN)localisation is proposed based on zeroing neurodynamics methodology to preferably locate moving underwater nodes.A zeroing neurodynamics model specifically designed for UASN localisation is constructed with rigorous theoretical analyses of its *** proposed zeroing neurodynamics model is compatible with some localisation algorithms,which can be utilised to eliminate error in non‐ideal situations,thus further improving its ***,the effectiveness and compatibility of the proposed zeroing neurodynamics model are substantiated by examples and computer simulations.

SAM-Aware Graph Prompt Reasoning Network for Cross-Domain Few-Shot Segmentation

The primary challenge of cross-domain few-shot segmentation (CD-FSS) is the domain disparity between the training and inference phases, which can exist in either the input data or the target classes. Previous models struggle to learn feature representations that generalize to various unknown domains from limited training domain samples. In contrast, the large-scale visual model SAM, pre-trained on tens of millions of images from various domains and classes, possesses excellent generalizability. In this work, we propose a SAM-aware graph prompt reasoning network (GPRN) that fully leverages SAM to guide CD-FSS feature representation learning and improve prediction accuracy. Specifically, we propose a SAM-aware prompt initialization module (SPI) to transform the masks generated by SAM into visual prompts enriched with high-level semantic information. Since SAM tends to divide an object into many sub-regions, this may lead to visual prompts representing the same semantic object having inconsistent or fragmented features. We further propose a graph prompt reasoning (GPR) module that constructs a graph among visual prompts to reason about their interrelationships and enable each visual prompt to aggregate information from similar prompts, thus achieving global semantic consistency. Subsequently, each visual prompt embeds its semantic information into the corresponding mask region to assist in feature representation learning. To refine the segmentation mask during testing, we also design a non-parameter adaptive point selection module (APS) to select representative point prompts from query predictions and feed them back to SAM to refine inaccurate segmentation results. Formal methods (FM) are innovative methods which employ mathematical notations to specify explicit and precise requirements. This paper presents a formal model of an automated teller machine (ATM) using Object Constraint Language (OCL) to illustrate the benefits of employing FM to develop commercial applications. FM provide a mathematically rigorous framework for specifying, developing, and verifying software systems. It enhances reliability, robustness, and security. FM plays a crucial role in the context of ATM, which requires high levels of trust and correctness due to their financial and security-critical nature. Using OCL, we demonstrate how formal specifications can be applied to define an ATM system's precise behavior and constraints. It allows for the early detection and correction of errors, reducing development costs and improving overall system quality. This study argues that adopting FM in commercial applications not only boosts the reliability and security of the systems but also increases customer satisfaction and trust. Results of ATM development under OCL have been compared with traditional methods (TM), showing reductions such as 51 % in development time, 53 % in cost, 94 % in ambiguity and 97% in quality and customer trust. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper studies the control method of multiport railway power conditioner (RPC) for power quality regulation and renewable energy integration in cophase railway power system. The circuit topology, operating principle and control strategy of multiport RPC are described in detail. To solve the unbalanced active power distribution and negative sequence current (NSC) caused by the multi-active-bridge converter operating in open-loop resonant mode, a closed-loop NSC compensating method is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed control method is verified by the simulation results. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2024.

Automatic generation of Chinese classical poetry is still a challenging problem in artificial ***-cently,Encoder-Decoder models have provided a few viable methods for poetry ***,by reviewing the pri-or methods,two major issues still need to be settled:1)most of them are one-stage generation methods without further polishing;2)they rarely take into consideration the restrictions of poetry,such as tone and ***,some an-cient Chinese poets tended first to write a coarse poem underlying aesthetics and then deliberated its semantics;while oth-ers first create a semantic poem and then refine its *** this basis,in order to better imitate the human creation procedure of poems,we propose a two-stage method(i.e.,restricted polishing generation method)of which each stage fo-cuses on the different aspects of poems(i.e.,semantics and aesthetics),which can produce a higher quality of generated *** this way,the two-stage method develops into two symmetrical generation methods,the aesthetics-to-semantics method and the semantics-to-aesthetics *** particular,we design a sampling method and a gate to formulate the tone and rhyme restrictions,which can further improve the rhythm of the generated *** results demon-strate the superiority of our proposed two-stage method in both automatic evaluation metrics and human evaluation met-rics compared with baselines,especially in yielding consistent improvements in tone and rhyme.
