IP networks have been becoming more popular communication infrastructures due to the lower operational costs in recent years. Mainly, usage of IP networks in voice services, which is denominated by VoIP (Voice over IP), has made difference in telephony networks not only the way of the people's communications, but also telecommunication companies' and operators' solutions. In this scope, IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystems)/SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) networks have some challenges for testing processes. Testing and validation of SIP scenarios in IMS networks can be complex and time consuming due to the lots of different kind of scenarios with traditional manual methods. This paper aims to develop automated test environment for SIP messages. In this perspective, this system provides to manage SIPp-like XML (eXtensible Markup Language) scenario files, which is aimed to support IMS network nodes with GUI (Graphical User Interface). Automation of SIP signaling test environment is also implemented for plotting data automatically.

Music-listening on personal devices is arguably the most wide-spread form of human-computerinteraction. Reasons for this include that small, widely-available, high-capacity devices offer users high-quality, choice, and mobility. However, they also offer what could be called, alternatively, either privacy or isolation. To understand more about the space of people listening to music and their sociality, we performed a diary study in the United States of 19 participants aged 9-15 over a two-week period. Despite their interest in communicating with their friends and in listening to music, the participants rarely listened to music with their friends, and they rarely recommended music to- or received music recommendations from their friends.

We present the approach and results of our system on the MediaEval Affective Impact of Movies Task. The challenge involves two primary tasks: affect classification and violence detection. We test the performance of multiple visual features followed by linear SVM classifiers. Inspired by successes in different vision fields, we use (i) GIST features used in scene modeling, (ii) features extracted from a deep convolutional neural network trained on object recognition, and (iii) improved dense trajectory features encoded using Fisher vectors commonly used in action recognition.

3D display has become increasingly popular in many fields. It can provide incredible immersion compared with 2D display. There are many researches referring to the change of user about no matter subjective experience or objective physiology signal while watching 3D content. Similarly, in this paper, we study the variation of user’s EEG when the user watched 3D content. However, we only focus on parallax cue and avoid other cues of 3D content by using Random Dot Stereogram(RDS) as visual stimulus. We designed an experiment which asked the subject to watch RDS with nine kinds of parallaxes(0,±0.5,±1.1,±1.3,±1.7). The users watched one RDS for 1 minute and then closed eyes and rest for 1 minute every time. During watching, EEG signal with 30-channel was recorded. The result suggests that significant variation of the user’s EEG data occurred in the Alpha (8–13Hz) and Beta(14–30Hz) frequency band by different parallax’s comparison. And we found not only parallax but also electrode position can impact the user’s EEG data significantly. Accurately, the EEG data has a significant change in six electrodes position in both frequency bands including CZ, PZ, OZ, O2 in international 10–20 system. It means those electrode positions we detect can be regarded as typical positions where we record EEG signal. It will simplify the process of EEG signal acquisition when we need to study the relationship between parallax cue of 3D display and the user further.

Users often do not install security-related software updates, leaving their devices open to exploitation by attackers. We are beginning to understand what factors affect this software updating behavior but the question of how to improve current software updating interfaces however remains unanswered. In this paper, we begin tackling this question by studying software updating behaviors, designing alternative updating interfaces, and evaluating these designs. We describe a formative study of 30 users' software updating practices, describe the low fidelity prototype we developed to address the issues identified in formative work, and the evaluation of our prototype with 22 users. Our findings suggest that updates interrupt users, users lack sufficient information to decide whether or not to update, and vary in terms of how they want to be notified and provide consent for updates. Based on our study, we make four recommendations to improve desktop updating interfaces and outline sociotechnical considerations around software updating that will ultimately affect end-user security.
