Key service hosts in information systems have higher and higher requirements on high reliability and survivability. Combined with the development trend of fault-tolerant technology, the mechanisms of data synchronization, memory synchronization, IO synchronization, fault detection, and transparent switching between active and standby are introduced, and a dual-machine redundancy high availability model based on state real-time synchronization is constructed. In order to reduce the overhead of memory state synchronization, an event-driven memory synchronization trigger mechanism is designed, that is, the key IO event-driven event trigger mechanism is adopted for the synchronization timing of memory checkpoints, so as to minimize unnecessary memory data update operations between the main and standby computers and reduce the overhead of computer state synchronization. At the same time, combined with BMC monitoring interface based on physical host, a fine-grained fault detection method is proposed. Related work can greatly reduce the overhead caused by high availability mechanism, and reduce the impact of fault-tolerant mechanism on system computing performance to a certain extent. At the same time, it has the ability to switch between active and standby quickly, which is helpful to better guarantee the uninterrupted and continuous running ability of task applications in key systems. © 2021 IEEE.

This paper addresses the task of learning periodic information using deep neural networks to achieve real-time, environment-independent sound source localization. Previous papers showed phase data is the most significant cue in sound source localization tasks and the proposed vM-B DNN was validated to be able to handle such periodic information using on synthesized data. However, they haven't shown its effectiveness and robustness in realistic use cases. This paper introduces a more complex model based on residual networks and adapts vM-B activation function for convolutional layers for use cases that require real-time predictions in dynamically changing environments. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper investigates the problem of cooperative guidance strategies for multiple missiles attacking a maneuvering target. Based on the consistency theory and algebraic graph, a fixed-time cooperative guidance law with a terminal line-of-sight (LOS) angle constraint is proposed. Initially, the maneuvers of target in the LOS direction and normal to the LOS are considered as disturbances affecting the missiles. A two-dimensional guidance encompassing three degrees of freedom model is formulated based on the missile-target kinematics. Next, the guidance law design is divided into two parts. Along the LOS, a disturbance observer estimates the disturbances, and a fixed-time convergent, time-coordinated guidance law is formulated, integrating a consensus protocol to handle these disturbances. In the LOS normal direction, an adaptive estimation method is utilized to estimate the upper bound of disturbance. A non-singular fast terminal sliding mode control method is employed to generate LOS normal acceleration commands while ensuring convergence to the sliding surface within a fixed time. Lastly, a scenario with three missiles engaging a maneuvering target is designed, and saturation limits are applied on the acceleration commands in both directions. The simulations validate the proposed cooperative guidance law’s accuracy and efficacy for multiple missiles with a LOS angle constraint.

Modern neural networks models for computer vision are trained on millions of images. The idea is that models are able to increase generalization when the dataset contains well diversified images, e.g. with varied illumination and environmental conditions of the same objects. Generalization is particularly relevant in object detection, especially for what concerns the cross-depiction problem. In this work we explore the use of Neural Style Transfer as a novel technique to morph the original data, with the aim to enhance model generalization. To verify the effect on performances for object detection models, we selected the Faster R-CNN model to be applied on the Pascal VOC 2012 dataset. A number of tests were performed through style variations on images and by tuning Neural Style Transfer parameters to maintain the content of the original images. The experiments showed promising results, which effectively provide a foundation for future studies on cross-depiction via Neural Style Transfer. © 2023 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

This paper constructs a non-cooperative/cooperative stochasticdifferential game model to prove that the optimal strategies trajectory ofagents in a system with a topological configuration of a Multi-Local-Worldgraph would converge into a certain attractor if the system’s configuration isfixed. Due to the economics and management property, almost all systems aredivided into several independent Local-Worlds, and the interaction betweenagents in the system is more complex. The interaction between agents inthe same Local-World is defined as a stochastic differential cooperativegame;conversely, the interaction between agents in different Local-Worldsis defined as a stochastic differential non-cooperative game. We construct anon-cooperative/cooperative stochastic differential game model to describethe interaction between agents. The solutions of the cooperative and noncooperativegames are obtained by invoking corresponding theories, and thena nonlinear operator is constructed to couple these two solutions *** last, the optimal strategies trajectory of agents in the system is proven toconverge into a certain attractor, which means that strategies trajectory arecertainty as time tends to infinity or a large positive integer. It is concluded thatthe optimal strategy trajectory with a nonlinear operator of cooperative/noncooperativestochastic differential game between agents can make agentsin a certain Local-World coordinate and make the Local-World paymentmaximize, and can make the all Local-Worlds equilibrated;furthermore, theoptimal strategy of the coupled game can converge into a particular attractorthat decides the optimal property.

Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS) integrating disciplines such as computer science, communication technology, and engineering, have become a crucial component of modern manufacturing and industry. However, ICPS faces numerous challenges during long-term operation, including equipment faults, performance degradation, and security threats, etc. To achieve efficient maintenance and management, prognostics and health management (PHM) has been widely applied in the critical tasks of ICPS such as fault prediction, health monitoring, and maintenance decision-making. The emergence of large-scale foundation models (LFMs) like BERT and GPT marks a significant advancement in artificial intelligence (AI) technology, demonstrating substantial application potential in multiple fields. The accumulation of AI technology, rapid development of LFMs, and the abundance of industrial data and industrial process knowledge provide the foundational conditions for the construction and advancement of industrial LFMs. However, there is currently a lack of consensus on applying LFMs of PHM in ICPS, necessitating a systematic review and roadmap to clarify future development directions. To bridge this gap, this survey provides a comprehensive survey and understanding of the recent advances in LFMs of PHM in ICPS. It provides valuable references for decision makers and researchers in the industry, and helps to further improve the reliability, availability and safety of ICPS. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper investigates the torque characteristic and multi-objective optimisation (MOO) of the multi-layer flux-barrier less-rare-earth permanent magnet synchronous machine (MLFB-LRE-PMSM) used for the electric vehicles (EVs). This study explores the variation of torque characteristics with current angle under different winding current conditions, and thoroughly analyses the influence of permanent magnet (PM) structure parameters on reluctance torque, PM torque and the proportion of reluctance torque in the electromagnetic torque. On this basis, the sensitivity analysis method based on Sobol sequence and joint Sobol index is adopted, which not only simplifies the traditional analysis process, but also effectively considers the interaction effect between the optimisation objectives. Finally, a cooperative optimisation strategy of improved whale optimisation algorithm (WOA) and genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed, which is successfully applied to the MOO design of MLFB-LRE-PMSM. The results show that the improved WOA algorithm shows excellent optimisation performance and can be used as a new solution in the field of motor optimisation. At the same time, the engineering practicability of the proposed collaborative optimisation scheme is verified by finite element simulation. © 2025 The Author(s). The photovoltaic power system has been developed in many areas. Photovoltaic generation is highly dependent on weather conditions and is subject to frequent violent fluctuations, leading to frequent power curtailments and brownouts. In order to solve this problem, this paper mainly studies the day-ahead dispatch strategy of high-proportion photovoltaic grids with virtual power plants. Firstly, the day-ahead forecast of photovoltaic power is carried out. Then a day-ahead alert of the ramp event of Photovoltaic power is given according to the numerical weather prediction (NWP). After that, a price compensation strategy is developed for the grids with a high proportion of photovoltaic power, and the resources in the virtual power plant are encouraged to participate in demand response through price. The simulation example verifies the effectiveness of the optimal dispatch strategy proposed in this paper. The results show that the virtual power plant can participate in the day-ahead optimal dispatch of grids while cooperating with the fluctuation of photovoltaic power, and effectively reduce the operating cost of grids with a high proportion of photovoltaic power. © 2022 IEEE.

Traditional manufacturing industries are currently facing limitations in terms of time, space, cost, and security. The traditional manufacturing system has problems such as higher operating costs, untimely response speed, lower degree of intelligence, and difficulty in system optimization. To meet the needs of the development of intelligent manufacturing, with the help of the new generation of digital twin technology, we explore the overall framework and design ideas for the combination of digital twin and intelligent manufacturing. Through digital twin technology, the intelligent manufacturing production line is mapped into the virtual space. The energy consumption of traditional manufacturing systems based on actual physical equipment in the testing phase is effectively reduced. Testing and running the manufacturing production line in the virtual space solves the problem of time and space limitations of the physical production line. By constructing an intelligent manufacturing production system that combines virtual and natural, the control accuracy and response speed of the manufacturing system are significantly improved. © 2023 ACM.
