This paper is devoted to the problem of state estimation for a class of dynamic system with multiple nonlinear-linear (NL) mixing state constraints. A computational algorithm was developed by C. Yang and E. Blasch to incorporate a positive definite quadratic form equality constraint into the Kalman filtering for the ground vehicle tracking. However, when the target tracked in multidimensional space, a single positive definite quadratic form constraint is not enough due to the involvement of other surface such as hyperboloid, paraboloid, or even plane. A analytic method of incorporating multiple nonlinear-linear mixing state constraints into the Kalman filter is presented here, and a sufficient condition is obtained that guarantee the existence of solution. The constraints may be time varying. At each time step the unconstrained Kalman filter solution is projected onto the state constraints surface. This significantly improves the prediction accuracy of the filter. The use of this algorithm is demonstrated on a nonlinear-linear mixing spacecraft positioning problem.

Laser processing has excellent processing performance, making the laser processing technology used widely, bringing huge economic benefits. An efficient algorithm of circular scanning and the corresponding design and implementation in laser marking will be introduced in this article. The algorithm is based on mathematical morphological, and realized on Visual c++ and GDI+ platform. The distance of the scanning line we got in the original graphic is in accordance with our expectation, and the scanning time is not more than 0.1s. Such stability and accuracy is originated from the core portion of the algorithm that is one-step scanning which makes each closed contour widen inspired by the thought of corrosion expansion algorithm and is aplicable to any curves so that assure reliability, such widen size is in accordance to scanning distance setted by users. This article can be divided into three parts: basics introduction, algorithm design, implementation. The results of numerous circular-scanning examples verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.

A new phase-shifting error compensating algorithm for phase-measuring profilometry is proposed. In this error detecting algorithm, it is supposed that sinusoidal fringe is projected to the plate, thus the phase differences between adjacent pixels are equal. Three adjacent phase points are taken as the research object. Combining the principle of phase compensation measurement, each phase of the point is presented as an equation containing the phase-shifting error. According to the characteristics that the phase differences between adjacent pixels are equal, an equation to calculate the phase-shifting error is constructed. Then the phase shifting error is taken into account in the original algorithm for error compensation. Simulation results show the inhibitory effect of the error compensation by using the novel algorithm. The proposed algorithm is also used for three-dimensional reconstruction. The final result shows that the new compensation algorithm is better than the original one obviously. This error compensating algorithm can effectively improve the accuracy of three-dimensional measurement.

Various approaches to control aeroelastic wing section with structural nonlinearity emerged in the last years. One of the approaches is based on the Tensor Product (TP) model transformation and the feasibility test of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) under the Parallel Distributed Compensation framework. The main contribution of this paper is that it extends the previously established qLPV model of the aeroelastic wing section with nonlinear friction. It is proven that the extended model can be exactly described after TP type polytopic decomposition. The qLPV model of the aeroelastic wing section with Coulomb friction was transformed to TP type polytopic model form for which LMI based controller was designed. The designed controller is compared to controllers of other authors dealing with the same problem.
