The needs of industrial workforces have changed in the Industry 4.0 era. The knowledge worker in charge of information systems and internal operations was divided into different roles, and they each used different working methods and concepts. Despite this, Industry 4.0's consolidation has promoted the growth of servicing workforce with both computational complexity and equipment maintenance skills. An industrial requirements analysis is conducted in this paper to identify the key skills and competencies needed for setting up and designing an Excellence Center in the context of Industry 4.0. A diverse group of industry experts are surveyed to gather their insights on the most important areas of focus for such a center. The findings indicate that the key competencies needed for success in an Industry 4.0 setting include digital literacy, data analysis, and the ability to work with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. Based on these findings, a curriculum for the Excellence Center is proposed that prioritizes these competencies and includes hands-on training and practical experience. Overall, this paper contributes to the understanding of the requirements for Industry 4.0 and provides a roadmap for setting up and designing an Excellence Center to meet these requirements.

Northern Thailand has a high market price and high demand for strawberries, which has a critical role in the local economy. Chiang Rai is the northern Thai province with the most strawberry farms and the potential for high profits for farmers. While gravitating to the harvest, pests and animals will ingest and demolish the strawberries. The majority of strawberry farms must repel an abundance of birds that try to eat strawberries, causing damage and stopping them from harvesting the required quantity of products. This work proposes to use the bird repeller system designed to address the problem of birds entering the farm and eating the produce by using an IoT system. The proposed system will monitor and repel birds throughout the day without the need for humans or farmers to repel birds inside the farm area. This work was tested with two parts of the system in an agricultural area where birds are always attacking. The first part tested the performance of the PIR motion sensor detection. The second part tested the performance of our repellent system that used sound and lights to repel birds. The results of our system had an accuracy of 91.93%.

This study proposes the solar Photovoltaic (PV) pump system in a non-communication grid along with Hidden Markov model to solve the problem of the delayed propagation of serial water pumps that resulted in missing data and a lost package. This distribution system improved the efficiency in communication and system status update throughout the prediction of the light state of neighbor and central station by the probability of the combination via the n-state Markov chain. As a result, the proposed method promised to improve the accuracy of prediction in non-communication states of solar-powered serial water pumps and reduce the communication loss over average time compared to previous work.

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is a student oriented learning method that using real-life practical problems to start the learning process in order to encourage problem solving skills. In User Interface Design course, the teaching and learning are not only focus on the theoretical knowledge but also focus on motivating students in soft skills. Therefore, this research purposes a Class User Interface Design of Problem-Based Learning Modeling (UIDPBL) in order to promote the 21st century of 4Cs skills - communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking skills. The proposed model applies the PBL concept to the class User Interface Design. The study is evaluated by both summative assessment and formative assessment. The student learning out come as the final grading and student feedback from a questionnaire at the end of the UIDPBL cycle are taken into account. The results presented that our proposed model, UIDPBL, is able to encourage students to gain the 21st century of 4Cs skills.

This research focuses on developing an automated system to identify the breed and sex of Thai beef cattle using advanced computer vision technology. By using the YOLOv11 (You Only Look Once) model, a state-of-the-art object detection tool, this system can quickly and accurately identify cattle breeds and determine their sex. High-resolution image datasets were collected and augmented, yielding 81.2% accuracy for breed detection and 95.0% for sex classification, with mAP@50 scores of 85.1% and 99.3%, respectively. However, limited data for certain breeds, like Thai Native and Japanese cattle, reduced the model’s performance for those categories. To overcome this, we aim to expand the dataset from CCTV footage in future studies. The system will include user-friendly features, such as real-time alerts and dashboards, making it practical for farmers to use. This project demonstrates how AI can improve cattle farming by saving time, reducing errors, and supporting better decisions. Future improvements will explore applications in disease detection and behavior monitoring.

Since lives generate in the world, more and more people have learnt and realized that `There is no secret'. Even though, people best try to keep their personal data for private, secure, and confident. However, the digital era arises, open the gate of connection between people, and object wisely, over high-technology network. Increasingly and rapidly the instances of breaches in the security of large amounts of electronically stored personal data users concern about their privacy issues. For the case, in health domain, all patients (data owners) are pleased to share their data for medical doctor (and hospital), expecting better healthcare treatment. Since people know their data and network behaviors are being observed all the time they shared. Unfortunately, they do not sure and know, how to evaluate the true quality of individual privacy data to sharing zone? In order to cross this obstacle, this paper suggests a model to manage the privacy of data in decentralized concept. This can ensure and more comfort for data owner to share their privacy information. As well as to provide decision makers, system providers, and all relevant parties are using with valuable data and improve their ability to make critical decisions on health related programs.

The presence of Industry 4.0 has altered the requirements of industrial workforces. Previously, the personnel in charge of information systems and plant operations were divided and worked in different concepts and methods. Nevertheless, the convergence of Industry 4.0 has encouraged the development of maintenance workforces capable of both information processing and machine maintenance. In response, an excellence center in Industry 4.0 in as aspect of computer engineering discipline is to be established to support the paradigm change in industry. The Asean Factori 4.0 project, an ERASMUS+ project funded by the European Union, is assisting with the process. The preparation of the excellence center is divided into two parts: the hardware and software definitions, and the staff preparations. The design and delivery of hardware and software is progressed according to the schedule, and the staff are being prepared as intended in the form of seminar and training. The feedback and evaluation strongly state that the audiences and the trainees are well satisfied and educated.

Problem (Project) Based Learning has been applied successfully in many fields in many higher educational institutions worldwide to develop learning efficiency though idea exchanging, debating and interacting. Students learn how to analyze the given problems, develop thinking s and self-study skills from learning activities in the classroom. Recently, COVID-19 is a major factor contributing to the digital transformation for learning. From offline to online learning, all students are required to adapt their preference of normal learning including high school students. This paper presents the design and the deployment of online Problem (Project) Based Learning for high school students so that enhance their learning efficiency and develop collaborative learning skill required for the future employment.

Training and development are essential parts of professional development that are necessary for employees to improve their capacity. Generally, professional development program is organized based on personal information, such as background, personal goal, and work experience together with business objectives and job criterion. To promote personalized training in professional development process, the proper classification of individual employee is necessary. This paper thus proposes the classification method for employee classification to promote personalized training in organizations. The machine learning based methods, Decision Tree, Random Forest, and Support Vector Machine, are studied. Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) method is used to deal with imbalance data. The open data from Kaggle is used in this paper. For method validation, the data for training and testing are formed into three groups including 80:20, 70:30, and 60:40 respectively. The classification results show that the SMOTE can improve classification performance for all classifiers. Additionally, Random Forest performs the best classification with 96.32% accuracy.

The classification of workload for companies or organizations consumes a lot of resources. Especially for smaller organizations, excessive resource use can lead to an imbalance in systems. Machine learning principles such as Naive Bayes can effectively reduce costs and manageability as it can reuse the organization's sources or statistics and can be reused without any administration. However, the performance of such an algorithm may deteriorate by itself due to improper deployment during data analysis. This study aims to optimize the Naive Bayes algorithm for classifying workload levels focusing on the distributions and the relevant kernels, including Gaussian, Kernel, Box, Epanechnikov, and Triangle. The optimized classification method offers better accuracy along with other performances. The results of the optimized method can be well applied to models that are similar to the proposed model.
