Broadband response metamaterial absorber(MMA)remains a challenge among researchers.A nanostructured new zero-indexed metamaterial(ZIM)absorber is presented in this study,constructed with a hexagonal shape resonator for optical region *** design consists of a resonator and dielectric layers made with tungsten and quartz(Fused).The proposed absorbent exhibits average absorption of more than 0.8972(89.72%)within the visible wavelength of 450–600 nm and nearly perfect absorption of 0.99(99%)at 461.61 *** on computational analysis,the proposed absorber can be characterized as *** developments of ZIM absorbers have demonstrated plasmonic resonance characteristics and a perfect impedance *** incidence obliquity in typically the range of 0◦–90◦both in TE and TM mode with maximum absorbance is more than 0.8972(∼89.72%),and up to 45◦angular stability is suitable for solar cell applications,like exploiting solar *** proposed structure prototype is designed and simulated by studying microwave technology numerical computer simulation(CST)*** finite integration technique(FIT)based simulator CST and finite element method(FEM)based simulator HFSS also helps validate the numerical data of the proposed ZIM *** proposed MMA design is appropriate for substantial absorption,wide-angle stability,absolute invisible layers,magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),color images,and thermal imaging applications.

In a post-disaster environment characterized by frequent interruptions in communication links,traditional wireless communication networks are *** the“store-carry-forward”mechanism characteristic of Delay Tolerant Networks(DTNs)can transmit data from Internet of things devices to more reliable base stations or data centres,it also suffers from inefficient data transmission and excessive transmission *** address these challenges,we propose an intelligent routing strategy based on node sociability for post-disaster emergency network ***,we introduce an intelligent routing strategy based on node intimacy,which selects more suitable relay nodes and assigns the corresponding number of message copies based on comprehensive utility ***,we present an intelligent routing strategy based on geographical location of nodes to forward message replicas secondarily based on transmission utility ***,experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm in terms of message delivery rate,network cost ratio and average transmission delay.

The increasing prevalence of integrated on-chip optoelectronic devices has identified serious issues regarding inter-device transmission and coupling losses, highlighting an urgent need for on-chip waveguide amplifiers to compensate for these losses. Compared with other Er-based optical materials, erbium silicate is ideally suited to high-efficiency on-chip amplifiers and lasers because of its extremely high Er3+concentration(1022cm-3). Nevertheless, erbium silicate must be annealed above 1000℃ to crystallize and activate the Er3+, which damages other on-chip optoelectronic components and is not conducive to device ***, we report a low-fabrication-temperature, high-luminescence-efficiency gain material by adding Bi2O3to an erbium-ytterbium silicate mixed film. Our experiments demonstrate that the proposed film crystallizes at 600℃ while the activation of Er3+is also achieved, which is the lowest activation temperature of on-chip waveguide amplifier to our knowledge. This material forms the basis for a new chip-scale waveguide amplifier design, with a theoretical multi-energy-level model of Bi-Er-Yb in the mixed thin films used to analyze its signal enhancement properties. We achieve a peak on-chip gain of 23 dB in a 3.3-mm-long waveguide under the pump and signal powers of 300 mW and 1 μW, respectively. These results highlight the potential of the proposed material for realizing on-chip amplifiers and lasers for large-scale nanophotonic integrated circuits.

In the current era of big data, the generation and preservation of time series data has seen widespread adoption in various sectors such as trade, healthcare, and industry. At the same time, data have become a prized asset, as we are witnessing an unprecedented explosion in the volume of data generated and collected. This includes data from various sources, such as sensors, social media, and transactions, offering a competitive edge to organizations that harness the power of data, leading them to informed decisions and rapid responses to changing conditions. However, it is essential to responsibly manage data, addressing privacy and security concerns to ensure their integrity and availability, while efficiently managing the cost of storage and operations. To address these challenges, there is a compelling de-mand for methods that compress these time series while ensuring that the compressed versions faithfully represent the original data and remain secure against tampering or unauthorized alterations. This paper introduces a novel approach to condensing time-series data into lightweight integrity commitments, leveraging polynomial vector commitments as a key component. These integrity commitments are integrated with blockchain technology, serving as a cornerstone in guaranteeing data integrity and authenticity, particularly in supply chain scenarios where trust and transparency are of the utmost importance. © 2023 IEEE.

With the proliferation of data-intensive industrial applications, the collaboration of computing powers among standalone edge servers is vital to provision such services for smart devices. In this paper, we propose an edge-driven industrial computing power network (CPN) by orchestrating the computing and network resources of edge servers through the centralized resource scheduling and decentralized task computing. However, efficient task offloading and collaborative processing is challenging, which requires higher degrees of network automation and intelligence. Therefore, we incorporate digital twins (DTs) into the edge-driven CPN architecture, where the DTs are created as the digital replicas to assist both the computation offloading and collaborative processing. A joint optimization problem of the computing power assignment, service association, task partition, and transmit power control is formulated for maximizing the system average weighted utility. Due to the temporal-spatial variability of tasks and the resulted dynamic environment, we transform the original problem as a Markov decision process aiming at maximizing the long-term average weighted utility. To efficiently handle the high-dimensional discrete-continuous action space, a hybrid soft actor-critic based deep reinforcement learning algorithm is developed for optimizing the joint design. Simulation results validate the superiority of our proposed algorithm over the benchmarks, showing the significant gains obtained by integrating DTs into the edge-driven CPN. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

As cloud computing continuum services become ever more important, the need of platforms that facilitate and manage their proper operation is unquestionable. An integral part of these platforms is a series of tools which will complement day one and day two operations in the context of the application software lifecycle. This work introduces an approach towards a Service Level Objective (SLO) Violation Detection system, based on the perceived Severity of an imminent or predicted violation. This system leverages insights to stay operational and triggers appropriate reconfiguration actions by continuously considering the required conditions of good operation. The detailed architecture of the system, its operation overview as well as the required interactions with other components – parts of an adaptation ecosystem of a cloud platform, are provided. The overarching objective has been achieved through the development of a method enabling the extension of Fog Computing (FC) to facilitate the transport and encryption of sensitive data from wearable devices. The study presents a method leveraging Fog Computing (FC) to transport and encrypt sensitive data from wearable devices, effectively mitigating privacy risks. Through comprehensive tests, NFC emerges as the optimal technology for data transport, while the DHEC algorithm is identified as the best encryption method for securing data between FC and the cloud. Real-world simulations validate the proposed approach, demonstrating its feasibility and effectiveness. The MyNFC app facilitates secure data transmission to AWS, with ServerNFC successfully decrypting data. The AES algorithm exhibited an average CPU usage of 31.8375, with low energy consumption and an average execution time of 26.404 seconds. For the RSA algorithm, the average CPU usage was 33.5875, also with low energy consumption, and an average execution time of 27.8 seconds. The DHEC algorithm showed an average CPU usage of 33.25, with low energy consumption, and an average execution time of 26.711 seconds. Lastly, the HJP algorithm displayed an average CPU usage of 32.375, with low energy consumption, and an average execution time of 30.163 seconds. Overall, the study highlights the ability of FC to safeguard information against interception, endorsing the proposed method's security and scalability. © 2024 IEEE.

Mobile Ad-Hoc network is a distributed wireless network that is self-organized and self-maintained and it doesn’t require a fixed framework or central administration. Wireless nodes in a mobile ad hoc network are transient and have a short lifespan. They combine to form a self-configured, infrastructure-free network where routing is a significant difficulty. The wireless nodes in the network must synchronize in order to decide connectivity and routing. Ad hoc network synchronization includes activities including node organization, neighborhood detection, and routing. The predetermined framework resulted in an increase in network control overhead. If a node can link to every other node in the network, it is referred to as a dominating node, and a set of dominating nodes make up the dominating set. The main purpose of this article is to lessen routing overhead in the wireless network with the dominating set based routing (DSBR). In order to discover routes, shorten reroute establishment times, and increase packet delivery rates, this research presents an energy-efficient routing algorithm (EERA) that considerably increases the network performance. The effectiveness of this technique is demonstrated by the simulation analysis of the outcome. © 2023,International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies. All Rights Reserved.
