The traditional centralized data sharing systems have potential risks such as single point of failures and excessive working load on the central *** a distributed and collaborative alternative,approaches based upon blockchain have been explored recently for Internet of Things(IoTs).However,the access from a legitimate user may be denied without the pre-defined policy and data update on the blockchain could be costly to the *** this paper,we first address these issues by incorporating the Accountable Subgroup Multi-Signature(ASM)algorithm into the Attribute-based Access control(ABAC)method with Policy Smart Contract,to provide a finegrained and flexible ***,we propose a policy-based Chameleon Hash algorithm that allows the data to be updated in a reliable and convenient way by the authorized ***,we evaluate our work by comparing its performance with the *** results demonstrate significant improvement on the effectiveness and efficiency.

Semantic communications offer promising prospects for enhancing data transmission efficiency. However, existing schemes have predominantly concentrated on point-to-point transmissions. In this paper, we aim to investigate the validity of this claim in interference scenarios compared to baseline approaches. Specifically, our focus is on general multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) interference channels, where we propose an interference-robust semantic communication (IRSC) scheme. This scheme involves the development of transceivers based on neural networks (NNs), which integrate channel state information (CSI) either solely at the receiver or at both transmitter and receiver ends. Moreover, we establish a composite loss function for training IRSC transceivers, along with a dynamic mechanism for updating the weights of various components in the loss function to enhance system fairness among users. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed IRSC scheme effectively learns to mitigate interference and outperforms baseline approaches, particularly in low signal-tonoise (SNR) regimes. © 2024 IEEE.

Fault detection(FD) for traction systems is one of the active topics in the railway and academia because it is the initial step for the running reliability and safety of high-speed trains. Heterogeneity of data and complexity of systems have brought new challenges to the traditional FD methods. For addressing these challenges, this paper designs an FD algorithm based on the improved unscented Kalman filter(UKF) with consideration of performance degradation. It is derived by incorporating a degradation process into the state-space *** network topology of traction systems is taken into consideration for improving the performance of state estimation. We first obtain the mixture distribution by the mixture of sigma points in UKF. Then, the Lévy process with jump points is introduced to construct the degradation model. Finally, the moving average interstate standard deviation(MAISD) is designed for detecting *** the proposed methods via a traction systems in a certain type of trains obtains satisfactory results.

An important aspect related to the effects of agricultural activities on the environment is represented by the nutrient loss in water and air (specifically nitrogen). The interactions between catchments hydrological processes, management of farm activities, climate changes and nitrogen losses constitute a complex phenomenon yet not well understood, being an important concern from the sustainable agriculture perspective. Nitrogen can be lost with water as leaching or runoff, or as gas as ammonia volatilization. Nitrous oxide (N2O) is particularly problematic because it is also a powerful greenhouse gas. The goal of the current article is to present innovative digital techniques to advance in understanding of this phenomena through an Information System that integrates Artificial Intelligence techniques such as Semantic Technologies and Machine Learning (ML) into Cyber-Physical systems (CPS) to support smart farming and sustainable agriculture. © 2023 IEEE.

Collaboration of agents in a natural swarm enables the accomplishment of tasks that would be difficult or impossible for a single agent to complete alone. For example, a swarm of autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) enables the collaborative sensing of bulky loads for transportation over impassable terrains when the load weighs several times more than each UAV. In this work, we propose a hierarchical algorithmic architecture that supports the search and coverage of various unknown payload profiles for subsequent transportation. The grasping formation of UAVs over the payload emerges from the synthetic behaviours in the architecture without any path planning. Experiments show that our proposed design can be successfully applied in searching and coverage of various loads and has been validated in the real world through the use of Crazyflie micro-UAVs. Furthermore, the proposed grasping formation satisfies static equilibrium thereby reducing orientation changes in the load-swarm system during transportation. © 2023 IEEE.

Nowadays, information and knowledge represent the fundamental wealth of an organisation. Enterprises try to utilise this wealth to gain advantage when making decisions such as a project’s acceptance. After a project finishes, a quality management plan defines its quality level. The business intelligence theories help the individual to evaluate the proposed plan in order to target the project’s results. But, do all the evaluation methods have the same reliability? We check the project’s quality by using paper and online questionnaire administration. Although the scope is the same, there are differences, giving different results. So, we intelligently investigated the quality of the university educational process. The results show that the administration method has a significant effect on overall results. Thus, the quality check of a project using questionnaires needs to have an attentive design, avoid points that introduce uncertainties and able to show the real opinion of the respondents. Evaluation is a process that compares the results with the target, an initial situation with the final one. ‘Evaluate’ means making an assessment based on some measure or information and referring to some criteria. The Formative evaluation is a process which is used by trainers and trainees and provides feedback on updating current teaching and learning methods in order to improve trainer’s achievement in relation of teaching goals. In this case study a research was carried out using the technique of formative evaluation in order to evaluate two thematic areas with the cooperation of the program’s leaders. The aim of the study was to extract conclusions and opinions about the program’s value, the achievement goals and the organisation implementation requirements and how all this results will been feed backed to program managers and policymakers with the appropriate information which are necessary to adopt appropriate corrective interventions for programs quality improvement. The method [K]control of Adaptive Multiple-timescale systems (KAMS) has been used as a method of adaptive control for systems with states that evolve at vastly different rates and with uncertain parameters. Prior research on KAMS has shown a relationship between the asymptotic behavior of the reference models and the behavior of the full-order closed-loop system. Poor reference model design can cause steady-state error or instability even if that reference model is acceptable in a single timescale context, due to adverse feedback between the reference models and the fast-state manifold. This paper simplifies KAMS control design and provides insight into multiple timescale reference models by identifying design considerations for the fast and slow reference models. For fast reference models, it is shown that the stability proofs used in KAMS control design necessarily require the manifold to be an asymptotically stable equilibrium of the fast reference model, despite prior work that allowed other possibilities. In the case of a slow reference model that is not asymptotically stable to its reference signal, it is common for the inner connection conditions to be dependent on the reference signal. This can cause the interconnection conditions to be ill-formatted for the application of the stability proofs used in KAMS control design. This paper addresses that case and proposes the use of Raffoul’s condition as a method to prove stability in the sense of Lyapunov. A linear quadrotor attitude stabilization problem is used as a framework for the slow reference model analysis. Results presented in the paper show that 1) the asymptotic stability of the fast reference model is a necessary condition for the KAMS stability proofs used in prior work and 2) Raffoul’s condition is a sufficient condition for Lyapunov sense stability even when the inner connection conditions are ill-formatted for the KAMS stability proofs used in prior work. © 2025, American Institute of Aeronautics
