Perception of premium services based on the evolution of hyper-service network in mobile edge computing

Recently, massive services from multiple domains are available on the network with the rapid development of Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) technology. These various services construct a service network through services’ collaboration, which can provide users with rich resources at anytime and anywhere. However, in MEC, due to the proliferation of services, as well as the dynamics of Quality of Service (QoS), it becomes more and more difficult for users to discover the premium services effectively, which seriously impacts users’ satisfaction and the utilization of resources. Therefore, how to proactively perceive the emergence of premium services in the service networks has become an challenge. To tackle this issue, we propose a method for perception of the premium services based on the evolution of hyper-service network (named as PPSHSN). First, based on the hypergraph theory, we construct a hyper-service network with the optimal connection method. Then, we develop the evolution mechanism of the hyper-service network and optimize the hyper-service network with the hyperdegree premium value evolution algorithm, thus to conduct the evolution of the service networks. Next, we devise the evaluation indexes based on the topological characteristics of hypergraphs, which are updated according to the evolution of the hyper-service network. Finally, we complete perception of premium services based on the evolution results of the hyper-service network. The effectiveness and feasibility of our proposed method are verified through extensive simulation experiments. © The Author(s) 2025.

An efficient schedulability analysis based on worst-case interference time for real-time systems

Real-time systems are widely implemented in the Internet of Things(IoT) and safety-critical systems, both of which have generated enormous social value. Aiming at the classic schedulability analysis problem in real-time systems, we proposed an exact Boolean analysis based on interference(EBAI) for schedulability analysis in real-time systems. EBAI is based on worst-case interference time(WCIT), which considers both the release jitter and blocking time of the task. We improved the efficiency of the three existing tests and provided a comprehensive summary of related research results in the field. Abundant experiments were conducted to compare EBAI with other related results. Our evaluation showed that in certain cases, the runtime gain achieved using our analysis method may exceed 73% compared to the stateof-the-art schedulability test. Furthermore, the benefits obtained from our tests grew with the number of tasks, reaching a level suitable for practical application. EBAI is oriented to the five-tuple real-time task model with stronger expression ability and possesses a low runtime overhead. These characteristics make it applicable in various real-time systems such as spacecraft, autonomous vehicles, industrial robots, and traffic command systems.

An Encoding-Decoding Framework Based on CNN for circ RNA-RBP Binding Sites Prediction

Predicting RNA binding protein(RBP) binding sites on circular RNAs(circ RNAs) is a fundamental step to understand their interaction mechanism. Numerous computational methods are developed to solve this problem, but they cannot fully learn the features. Therefore, we propose circ-CNNED, a convolutional neural network(CNN)-based encoding and decoding framework. We first adopt two encoding methods to obtain two original matrices. We preprocess them using CNN before fusion. To capture the feature dependencies, we utilize temporal convolutional network(TCN) and CNN to construct encoding and decoding blocks, respectively. Then we introduce global expectation pooling to learn latent information and enhance the robustness of circ-CNNED. We perform circ-CNNED across 37 datasets to evaluate its effect. The comparison and ablation experiments demonstrate that our method is superior. In addition, motif enrichment analysis on four datasets helps us to explore the reason for performance improvement of circ-CNNED.

Real-time drone detection framework based on advanced texture feature extraction and pattern recognition model using GUI

The increasing prevalence of drones has raised significant concerns regarding their potential for misuse in activities such as smuggling, terrorism, and unauthorized access to restricted airspace. Consequently, the development of robust and efficient drone detection systems has become paramount. Traditional detection methods such as radar and acoustic sensors have limitations in detecting small drones and can be costly to implement. This can lead to lower detection rates and increased security breaches and safety concerns. However, prevailing methodologies often falter in achieving real-time detection with requisite precision and efficacy, particularly within complex operational environments. Motivated by the imperative to surmount these challenges, our research endeavors to introduce a pioneering real-time drone detection framework. Our study encapsulates several seminal advancements. Firstly, we proffer a groundbreaking framework that synergizes advanced integration technique based on texture feature extraction and pattern recognition techniques for real-time drone detection to increase accuracy to detect drones in different conditions such as bad weather and low resolution. Secondly, we introduce an intuitive graphical user interface, enhancing the usability and accessibility of the system in real-time scenario. Lastly, through exhaustive evaluation and comparative analysis, we substantiate the superior performance of our framework in terms of accuracy, precision, and real-time detection capabilities compared to conventional DDS methodologies. Its stability and effectiveness render it a compelling solution for security-focused entities, notably those within air force and military systems. Our experimental results reveal a commendable accuracy rate of 97%, affirming the reliability and precision 98% and recall parameter 98% of our framework in accurately identifying and detecting drones, thus surpassing recent models in the field. © The Author(s), under exclusive

Predicting circRNA-Disease Associations by Using Multi-Biomolecular Networks Based on Variational Graph Auto-Encoder with Attention Mechanism

CircRNA-disease association(CDA) can provide a new direction for the treatment of diseases. However,traditional biological experiment is time-consuming and expensive, this urges us to propose the reliable computational model to predict the associations between circRNAs and diseases. And there is existing more and more evidence indicates that the combination of multi-biomolecular information can improve the prediction accuracy. We propose a novel computational model for CDA prediction named MBCDA, we collect the multi-biomolecular information including circRNA, disease, miRNA and lncRNA based on 6 databases, and construct three heterogeneous network among them, then the multi-heads graph attention networks are applied to these three networks to extract the features of circRNAs and diseases from different views, the obtained features are put into variational graph auto-encoder(VGAE) network to learn the latent distributions of the nodes, a fully connected neural network is adopted to further process the output of VGAE and uses sigmoid function to obtain the predicted probabilities of circRNA-disease *** a result, MBCDA achieved the values of AUC and AUPR under 5-fold cross-validation of 0.893 and 0.887. MBCDA was applied to the analysis of the top-25 predicted associations between circRNAs and diseases, these experimental results show that our proposed MBCDA is a powerful computational model for CDA prediction.

Drug-Target Interactions Prediction Based on Signed Heterogeneous Graph Neural Networks

Drug-target interactions(DTIs) prediction plays an important role in the process of drug *** computational methods treat it as a binary prediction problem, determining whether there are connections between drugs and targets while ignoring relational types information. Considering the positive or negative effects of DTIs will facilitate the study on comprehensive mechanisms of multiple drugs on a common target, in this work, we model DTIs on signed heterogeneous networks, through categorizing interaction patterns of DTIs and additionally extracting interactions within drug pairs and target protein pairs. We propose signed heterogeneous graph neural networks(SHGNNs), further put forward an end-to-end framework for signed DTIs prediction, called SHGNN-DTI,which not only adapts to signed bipartite networks, but also could naturally incorporate auxiliary information from drug-drug interactions(DDIs) and protein-protein interactions(PPIs). For the framework, we solve the message passing and aggregation problem on signed DTI networks, and consider different training modes on the whole networks consisting of DTIs, DDIs and PPIs. Experiments are conducted on two datasets extracted from Drug Bank and related databases, under different settings of initial inputs, embedding dimensions and training modes. The prediction results show excellent performance in terms of metric indicators, and the feasibility is further verified by the case study with two drugs on breast cancer.

Hybrid tri-memristor hyperchaotic map and application in Wasserstein Generative Adversarial Nets

Advancements in Satellite Remote Sensing for Predicting Large-Scale Wildfire Risks: An Image Processing Algorithmic Framework

With the escalation of global warming and human activities, large-scale wildfires have become increasingly frequent, posing significant threats to both ecological environments and human societal safety. Satellite remote sensing technology plays a pivotal role in wildfire monitoring and risk assessment, providing extensive geographical coverage and continuous monitoring capabilities. Traditional methods for predicating wildfire risk, however, face limitations in processing large-scale remote sensing data, especially in cloud detection and temporal information analysis. In response to this challenge, a novel set of image processing algorithms has been developed to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of wildfire risk prediction. Initially, a cloud detection and removal algorithm based on deep learning is introduced. This algorithm effectively identifies and eliminates cloud interference in remote sensing images, thereby significantly improving the quality and usability of image data. Subsequently, a temporal information capturing technique is proposed, capable of processing vast amounts of remote sensing data and extracting time series features. This technique provides robust data support for wildfire risk prediction. The application of these technologies not only improves the efficiency of the data processing workflow but also enhances the timeliness and accuracy of the prediction model, holding significant practical importance for guiding actual wildfire prevention and response measures. © 2024 by the authors of this article.

Spatiotemporal sequence data mining: Traffic flow prediction algorithm based on Recurrent Neural Networks

Traffic congestion is one of the most common problems in the transportation system. In urban planning and construction, traffic congestion increases the difficulty of control and scheduling, hindering the pace of urban modernization development. The development of intelligent transportation systems has to some extent solved these problems, among which traffic flow prediction is particularly crucial. A period processing layer containing concatenation, dimension amplification, and diffusion convolution was studied and designed. On the grounds of this, a graph neural network prediction model combining spatiotemporal period characteristics was designed. And it further introduced a traffic flow prediction method on the grounds of dynamic topology maps. This model combined adaptive topology generation and parameter learning mechanisms, synchronously processing the complex correlation of traffic data and the heterogeneity between nodes through gated recurrent neural networks. The outcomes indicated that the research model is more excellent than other graph learning methods in three evaluation indicators: Mean square error, mean absolute percentage error, and root mean square error. Their values were 15.63%, 9.87%, and 25.08%, respectively. The evaluation on all four datasets showed excellent performance of the research model, confirming the effectiveness of its adaptive topology and parameter learning strategy. This study had important practical significance for improving the traffic management system, alleviating traffic pressure, and enhancing the travel experience of urban residents. © 2024, Aracne Editrice. Generating diverse clothed 3D human animations via a generative model

Data-driven garment animation is a current topic of interest in the computer graphics *** approaches generally establish the mapping between a single human pose or a temporal pose sequence,and garment deformation,but it is difficult to quickly generate diverse clothed human *** address this problem with a method to automatically synthesize dressed human animations with temporal consistency from a specified human motion *** the heart of our method is a twostage ***,we first learn a latent space encoding the sequence-level distribution of human motions utilizing a transformer-based conditional variational autoencoder(Transformer-CVAE).Then a garment simulator synthesizes dynamic garment shapes using a transformer encoder-decoder *** the learned latent space comes from varied human motions,our method can generate a variety of styles of motions given a specific motion *** means of a novel beginning of sequence(BOS)learning strategy and a self-supervised refinement procedure,our garment simulator is capable of efficiently synthesizing garment deformation sequences corresponding to the generated human motions while maintaining temporal and spatial *** verify our ideas *** is the first generative model that directly dresses human animation.
