The purpose of writing this paper is to look at how factors of big data adoption affect the users of social media and brand popularity. The method used in the writing of this paper is by using path analysis and also by doing literature study to find reference material. The results of the analysis indicate that there is influence of big data adoption factors that affect the popularity of the brand. Indonesia had been suffered by earthquake and tsunami for many centuries. Since many lives have taken by tsunami strikes, alert and response system are very important as important part of Disaster Risk Reduction, especially in area with high population density. This research conducted in Kangkung fishing village in Bandar Lampung coastal area which is an earthquake and tsunami prone area. The aim of the research is to study alert and response of Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction. The research conducted by qualitative method and purposive-descriptive approach. There were 53 respondents which participated in the survey and interview. It is reported that "Smart Resilient City"model suitable for community needs of alert and response of earthquake and tsunami disaster. This research meets conclusion that "Smart Resilient City"model may become a great solution in Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction to cope with the hazard of earthquake and tsunami comprehensively and sustainably. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

There is a lot of data that does not have a pattern and unbalanced that is difficult to classify, such as the total population of each country in the world is very varied especially when compared with the number of refugees from each of these countries, China and India numbered more than 2 billion people but the number of refugees is only 0, 01%, while Syria around 70% of the 18 million more residents are refugees. By using the K-Means algorithm, we can group countries that have similar characteristics of population and number of refugees, the average percentage of refugees to the population in each cluster is the character of the cluster. The methodology used in this study are: measures the distance of the data using the Euclidean distance formula, runs the K-Means algorithm, calculate the percentage value of each cluster and find conclusions from the characteristics of the clusters formed. We found how machine learning made a pattern of data without political and social issues, the result is K-Means describing machine learning can grouped every country in cluster that make sense. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the impact of social distance on people during COVID-19 pandemic using twitter sentiment analysis through a comparison between the k-means clustering and Mini-Batch k-means clustering approaches. To find the most common frequent words, two datasets have been investigated (WHO and Bahrain ministry of health datasets) to be as data preparation and exploration. Another two datasets (English and Arabic datasets) are used in the clustering of k-means. In this paper, a comparison between k-means and Mini-Batch k-means is performed to find a pattern. The word frequency shows that there are several words related to the pandemic. The sentiment analysis result show that in USA, Australia, Nigeria, Canada, and England, most tweets are neutral. However, the majority of tweets are positive tweets from both Italy and India. In addition, the k-means cluster in the English dataset reveals several cluster trends where COVID-19 pandemic procedures are addressed in cluster 1, and health workers are encouraged in cluster 3. © 2020 IEEE.

Stock prices prediction is one of the most daunting tasks to achieve for day traders, investors, and data scientists. They are complex functions of a wide array of contributing factors that affects the movement dynamics. Politics, social outlook, the company's sales performance, and socio-economic factors all have an influence of how the stock is perceived globally and thus affecting the price movement based on the supply/demand balance. In this work a Framework is proposed to predict the price and movement direction by using multiple datasets that includes news sentiment, social sentiment, company earnings announcement, and technical indicators. A case study was applied on the Apple Inc. stock using Long short-term Memory Neural Networks (LSTM) and Deep Neural Networks (DNN). Results showed superiority of the LSTM model in both predicting stock value [75.4 MSE, +-2.52 PE] and the direction with [70.1% classification accuracy] over the DNN model which suffered from prediction lag and dependency on trend indicators achieving [53.1%] in predicting the direction of the stock. © 2020 IEEE.

In a government institution many official letters are made daily, the letters have an official format in the Tanggal, No. Surat, Lampiran dan Hal. area, with an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) scanner an official letter can be digitized and processed to obtain characters that will be used as searches, but in fact in certain desired parts there are often handwriting, a method of pattern recognition is needed to recognize the handwriting. The process in this study including of normalization, segmentation and pattern recognition from labels in the Tanggal, No. Surat, Lampiran dan Hal. area,this system will generate output in text form, the output text is result that will use as a term in the process of the information Retrieval System, so the search for an official letter will be easy to do. —Machine learning has endless applications in the health care industry. White blood cell classification is one of the interesting and promising area of research. The classification of the white blood cells plays an important part in the medical diagnosis. In practise white blood cell classification is performed by the haematologist by taking a small smear of blood and careful examination under the microscope. The current procedures to identify the white blood cell subtype is more time taking and error-prone. The computer aided detection and diagnosis of the white blood cells tend to avoid the human error and reduce the time taken to classify the white blood cells. In the recent years several deep learning approaches have been developed in the context of classification of the white blood cells that are able to identify but are unable to localize the positions of white blood cells in the blood cell image. Following this, the present research proposes to utilize YOLOv3 object detection technique to localize and classify the white blood cells with bounding boxes. With exhaustive experimental analysis, the proposed work is found to detect the white blood cell with 99.2% accuracy and classify with 90% accuracy. © 2021, CC BY.

This study aims to assist resource management and the project controller at Port Harbor Company. Port Harbor Company is an IT Consulting. Problems that often occur in IT Consulting are related to the project cost, resource management and control of each project. Problems that occur at the Port Harbor Company are poor resource management, spending costs that exceed a predetermined budget and how to see the status of ongoing projects. Using Business Intelligence and the dashboard as a front end will help the project controller and resource management manage resources, manage project costs and monitor ongoing projects. This research is ongoing research into the student learning process which aims to develop artificial intelligence-based technology to calculate essay exam scores automatically, based on the textual proximity of students' answers to the answer key. This research uses an approach based on natural language processing (NLP) and text analysis. Feature extraction was carried out using the BERT model and similarity comparison using the Cosine distance method. Model evaluation was carried out using sensitivity and specificity tests. The model evaluation results show a sensitivity of 98.21%, which means this assessment model is able to detect positive cases well.
