In a government institution many official letters are made daily, the letters have an official format in the Tanggal, No. Surat, Lampiran dan Hal. area, with an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) scanner an official letter can be digitized and processed to obtain characters that will be used as searches, but in fact in certain desired parts there are often handwriting, a method of pattern recognition is needed to recognize the handwriting. The process in this study including of normalization, segmentation and pattern recognition from labels in the Tanggal, No. Surat, Lampiran dan Hal. area,this system will generate output in text form, the output text is result that will use as a term in the process of the information Retrieval System, so the search for an official letter will be easy to do. This study is only makes the framework design for the next research authors will explain the detail of process and results obtained.

Genetic Algorithm in Image Inserting with Modified Least Significant Bit Method to Find The Best MSE Value

Inserting data into digital media tends to change the large size of the media cover file, this is because the inserted pixel has a different size from the insertion value, i.e. with a larger or smaller value, for example a pixel value of 10 is inserted with larger or smaller data from the value 10. So that the pixel value is getting further from the value of 10, this causes the value of Mean Squared Error (MSE) of the media of the cover (cover) to become larger. In this study, the selection of pixels in the image is in accordance with the value of the insertion data as the insertion place with the Genetic algorithm (GA). Insertion of data on selected pixels using the GA algorithm is performed using the Modified Least Significant Bit (MLSB) algorithm at the position of the least significant bits. To find out the reliability of the proposed algorithm, the data insertion experiment was carried out by comparing the conventional LSB algorithm with the proposed algorithm where the results obtained a significant MSE value, i.e. the average MSE value of the LSB algorithm was 20.54 and the proposed algorithm was 7.12.

Objective: Mobile nutrition applications (apps) provide a simple way for individuals to record their diet, but the validity and inherent errors need to be carefully evaluated. The aim of this study was to assess the validity and clarify the sources of measurement errors of image-assisted mobile nutrition apps. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study with 98 students recruited from School of Nutrition and Health sciences, Taipei Medical University. A 3-d nutrient intake record by Formosa Food and Nutrient Recording App (FoodApp) was compared with a 24-h dietary recall (24-HDR). A two-stage data modification process, manual data cleaning, and reanalyzing of prepackaged foods were employed to address inherent errors. Nutrient intake levels obtained by the two methods were compared with the recommended daily intake (DRI), Taiwan. Paired t test, Spearman's correlation coefficients, and Bland–Altman plots were used to assess agreement between the FoodApp and 24-HDR. Results: Manual data cleaning identified 166 food coding errors (12%;stage 1), and 426 food codes with missing micronutrients (32%) were reanalyzed (stage 2). Positive linear trends were observed for total energy and micronutrient intake (all P_trend < 0.05) after the two stages of data modification, but not for dietary fat, carbohydrates, or vitamin D. There were no statistical differences in mean energy and macronutrient intake between the FoodApp and 24-HDR, and this agreement was confirmed by Bland–Altman plots. Spearman's correlation analyses showed strong to moderate correlations (r = 0.834 ∼ 0.386) between the two methods. Participants’ nutrient intake tended to be lower than the DRI, but no differences in proportions of adequacy/inadequacy for DRI values were observed between the two methods. Conclusions: Mitigating errors significantly improved the accuracy of the Formosa FoodApp, indicating its validity and reliability as a self-reporting mobile-based dietary assessment tool. The purpose of this study is to look for factors, indicators, and build a model of readiness for effective and efficient implementation in order to answer the problems that arise at PT XYZ related to the readiness of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementation. The research method used is the method of collecting data by observing, interviewing, and distributing questionnaires to respondents using the CRM Value Chain theory as a conceptual framework and the research method used in this research is factor analysis to process data obtained from questionnaires. In this study managed to get new factors along with the constituent indicators of these factors as well as an ideal readiness model. It can be concluded that factors related to the readiness of implementing Customer Relationship Management among others are Customer Service information, Customer Relations Value, Lack of Service and Communication.

The existence of various PHP frameworks may become one alternative choice in developing a web application that PT XYZ wants to evaluate its Wisanggeni internal PHP framework in order to measure how far the design quality of Wisanggeni framework is working. An evaluation on PHP framework using object-oriented metric parameter and design quality is then conducted in this research. The results of measurement conducted using object-oriented metric parameters for each framework are evaluated with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the best framework model design quality used as a reference for the development of Wisanggeni. This study also uses a combination of PHPDepend and PHPMetrics devices to measure the values of object-oriented metrics in each PHP framework. The research final result is that each framework has one value representing each framework's quality in which the quality of Wisanggeni framework is almost to the same with the Laravel and CodeIgniter framework.

E-commerce in Indonesia has grown rapidly and provided many positive impacts especially on the field of online business. Through the developments, there are certainly many factors that must be carefully considered in all aspects to get the 'goal' as desired. So, when an e-commerce website has made changes whether we can conclude that the results worked so far or not. It can start by taking the existing factors that become the determinant of one of the successes in the e-commerce website. The study aims to evaluate factors become the success of an e-commerce (***). Using the McLean and Delone success model approach that has 5 factors, namely: system quality, information quality, use, user satisfaction and net benefit. The result shows system quality, user satisfaction, and net benefits influence to use factor. net benefit influence to use. Quality of information influence to user satisfaction *** user satisfaction influence on net benefit factor. Thus, be expected, the model can be used as reference in related evaluating an e-commerce website.

Machine learning is a system that can learn by itself by using training data and testing data testing. The rapid development of information and Communication Technology (ICT) has an impact on the innovation of new technology that gives benefits for health. One of its latest development is wearable device technology. Nowadays, the growth of this technology market is very positive. But unfortunately the growth of this technology is not followed by the availability of supporting applications that provide maximum benefits for users by utilizing personal health and activity data. This paper is intended to provide a report of our initial research in developing a health assistant solution that utilizes wearable device generated data. The whole research process is executed using Design Thinking approach that put the users as the main consideration. This initial research is started by designing a field research that can potentially gathered users' data generated from wearable device. A series of statistical and machine learning techniques are presented to analyze time series data to create a model. Finally, to implement the model, a mobile application prototype is also proposed. The outcomes from this initial research will be used to develop a fully working solution. © 2018 IEEE.

The success of learning in a classroom that uses supporting media demands lecturer activity. The level of activity of lecturers in class and using learning media such as Smart lecturer can be measured using a fuzzy logic approach. This study aims to measure the level of active lecturers using the approach, namely: Mamdani and Sugeno method. Stages of lecturer activity measurement by forming a fuzzy set, composition rules as many as 24 rules and the defuzzification process using the centroid method that produces the level of activity of each is low, medium and high. Based on 173 lecturer activity data, the results of the Mamdani method indicates low 66%, medium 31%, and high 3%. While the Sugeno method produces a level of activity low 75%, moderate 17%, and high 8%. Therefore, Mamdani method is more suitable for the calculation because the spread of results is relatively evenly distributed at each level.
