MOOCs are one of the developments or impacts of e-learning or online learning. Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is one of the choices for students to increase their knowledge through non-formal channels. Our research aims to determine the level of readiness of students regarding MOOC learning and opportunities for utilizing recommendation systems in students' decision-making regarding selecting MOOCs that suit their interests and needs. We conducted a survey regarding the constraints and needs of learner readiness through 5 aspects, namely 1) technical aspect, (2) social aspect, (3) communication aspect, (4) lecture readiness aspect, and (5) online discussion. The results of this research show that the main challenges that MOOC participants may face in a MOOC environment are Technical Aspects (28.25%), Social Aspects (21.47%), and Communication Aspects (18.93%). Meanwhile, the greatest strength of online learning in the MOOC environment is the social aspect (21%), the most influential and continued with technical and other aspects. Meanwhile, the lecture readiness aspect is quite good, and the online discussion aspect is the biggest aspect that influences the success of MOOC learning. Other results of this research indicate the importance of a recommendation system for MOOC students to make it easier for students to choose the right MOOC according to their interests and needs.

with the continuous improvement of social productivity, various fields also develop rapidly. All levels of practitioners also need to improve their own comprehensive quality and ability. In the field of artificial intelligence and high-end computer industry, the Python programming language gradually shows its field advantages and is favored by professionals, thus accelerating the development of scientific research and high-tech products. Teachers or trainers should understand and teach PYTHON courses at a deeper level and reform PYTHON language teaching based on this. With the maturity of artificial intelligence technology and the continuous development of programming languages, Internet companies have an increasing demand for programming talents. Therefore, how to cultivate excellent PYTHON programmers has drawn close attention from all fields of society. In the era of intelligence, it is one of the main tasks of schools to train PYTHON programming talents to meet the needs of the society. The traditional PYTHON language teaching model can no longer meet the needs of society. This paper proposes to build a kind of intelligent online PYTHON teaching system, provide students with personalized teaching resources and systematic practical programming problems, and then cultivate students' independent programming thinking, and train practical talents who master PYTHON programming technology for Internet enterprises. Promote the education with practice, not only can improve students' learning enthusiasm and motivation, increase employment opportunities for students, at the same time satisfy the social demand for talents, thus promoting the schools' curriculum reform. © 2021 IEEE.

Citrus Limon L. (Lemon) is a type of fruit that is currently widely consumed, because it contains abundant vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants. This fruit have high potential in the agribusiness sector and is widely cultivated by traditional farmers. However, during harvest time, traditional farmers generally still use manual methods using the human eye in distinguishing the maturity level of lemons which is less efficient because it has a low accuracy. Digital image processing is one solution to this problem. In the research on the classification of lemon maturity levels using digital image processing with the feature extraction method of the Mean RGB, HSV, and LBP methods and the K-Nearest Neighbor classification algorithm in this study, a total of 120 lemon images were used which were divided into 80 training image data and 40 image data. testing. The results of model performance measurements in the form of the highest accuracy level in the Mean RGB method of 100%, the highest accuracy in the HSV method of 98%, and the highest accuracy in the LBP method of 82.5%.

Accelerating the immense workloads of Neural Networks (NNs) is a critical challenge, and analog computing-based approaches present a promising solution. Among these, the Integrate-and-Fire (IF) Spiking Neural Network (SNN) stands out for its potential in efficient neural computation. However, achieving high inference accuracy through precise multiply-accumulate (MAC) operations necessitates a large membrane capacitor—224 to 547 times larger than the synapse array at the 14nm technology node—resulting in prohibitive area costs. Additionally, the large capacitor size introduces higher energy consumption and longer access times. Thus, a key research challenge is maintaining accuracy while mitigating the costs associated with the large membrane capacitor. In this work, we propose a HW/SW Codesign method, called CapMin, for capacitor size minimization in analog computing IF-SNNs. CapMin minimizes the capacitor size by reducing the number of spike times needed for accurate operation of the HW, based on the absolute frequency of MAC level occurrences in the SW. To increase the operation of IF-SNNs to current variation, we propose the method CapMin-V, which trades capacitor size for protection based on the reduced capacitor size found in CapMin. In our experiments, CapMin achieves more than a 14 $\times$ reduction in capacitor size along with a 34% reduction in energy consumption over the state of the art, while CapMin-V achieves increased variation tolerance in the IF-SNN operation, requiring only a small increase in capacitor size.

The introduction of an IoT-based smart waste management system is proposed to optimize various aspects of university campus waste recycle management processes, such as garbage collection scheduling, waste type identification, and collection routes. This system utilizes advanced data analytics algorithms, wireless communication protocols, and sensors to measure and document variations in trash levels, enabling real-time monitoring of waste accumulation. Through this IoT-based infrastructure, university administrators and waste management staff gain fine-grained visibility and control over garbage collection processes. The implications for sustainability advocacy and environmental stewardship in academic environments are significant. By fostering a culture of environmental awareness and accountability, universities can instill ideals of conservation and resourcefulness in their student populations and staff. The proposed IoT-enabled waste bin system exemplifies the synergy between technological innovation and environmental responsibility, serving as a model for institutions worldwide. Collaboration among universities can leverage IoT technology to drive positive change, mitigate environmental degradation, and promote sustainable practices beyond campus boundaries. Efficient waste management is crucial for nurturing sustainability on college and university campuses, as evidenced by the urgent need for the collection and recycling of compost, general waste, and recyclables. Our models consistently achieve high performance, with perfect scores (1.000) across all split ratios, indicating flawless classification of waste types. Although the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) demonstrates slightly lower accuracy, ranging from 0.973 to 0.997 depending on data splits, it still performs well. As a result, Naive Bayes produces less accurate results, typically surpassing 0.93 but falling short of Random Forest, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Support Vector Machine (SVM)'s flawless

In this paper, we consider a scheduling issue for parcel delivery and pickup services by a truck-drone last-mile delivery system. We are given a single carrier truck and multiple identical drones to serve a finite set of customers. The single carrier truck plays the role of a mobile depot for the drones, and it visits several stops in a given order of them. The given order of stops constitutes a fixed truck route, and the carrier truck is allowed to launch (resp., to retrieve) a drone to (resp., from) a customer at a stop. For each sortie of a drone, the launching stop and the retrieving stop must be the same. The load capacity of a drone is limited to one, and for a sortie of a drone at a stop, there are three options: (i) only deliver a parcel to a customer, (ii) only pick up a parcel from a customer, and (iii) deliver a parcel to a customer, and then pick up a parcel from a customer. The scheduling problem asks to find an assignment of customers to drones with sortie options and a choice of a truck stop for each sortie in the assignment. The objective is to minimize the total duration of the carrier truck over all the stops, which is equivalent to minimizing the makespan. In this paper, we first propose an extended integer program for the case with both delivery and pickup services from an existing one for the case with delivery service only. We also conduct numerical experiments to demonstrate the solution quality of the proposed integer program by utilizing an integer programming solver, and report the results.

Gaussian Process Latent Variable Models (GPLVMs) have become increasingly popular for unsupervised tasks such as dimensionality reduction and missing data recovery due to their flexibility and non-linear nature. An importance-weighted version of the Bayesian GPLVMs has been proposed to obtain a tighter variational bound. However, this version of the approach is primarily limited to analyzing simple data structures, as the generation of an effective proposal distribution can become quite challenging in high-dimensional spaces or with complex data sets. In this work, we propose an Annealed Importance Sampling (AIS) approach to address these issues. By transforming the posterior into a sequence of intermediate distributions using annealing, we combine the strengths of Sequential Monte Carlo samplers and VI to explore a wider range of posterior distributions and gradually approach the target distribution. We further propose an efficient algorithm by reparameterizing all variables in the evidence lower bound (ELBO). Experimental results on both toy and image datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the-art methods in terms of tighter variational bounds, higher log-likelihoods, and more robust convergence. © 2024, CC BY.

As soon as the lockdown was established in Jakarta, Indonesia, people experienced a change in Jakarta's air quality. This research was conducted to answer several challenges such as: where to find Indonesia's air quality open data platforms, how to handle the acquired data with SQL technology, and how to validate whether the air quality of Jakarta was significantly changed from a period to another or not. With particulate matter 2.5 (PM 2.5) data acquired by The United States Diplomatic Post in South Jakarta, a data visualization was generated to describe the fluctuation of PM 2.5 from February 29th to June 29th. By conducting a two-sample t-test, a significant change in South Jakarta's air quality was revealed. The test concluded that South Jakarta's air quality got worse even after a lockdown was established. © 2021 IEEE.

Data Encryption Standard (DES) is a symmetric encryption algorithm that uses a single key to encrypt and decrypt information. In addition, the cipher text will be hidden inside an image using Stepic. DES Encryption use symmetric encryption to encrypt and decryption to decrypt. It will secure the symmetric encryption and maintain the speed of the encryption and decryption. The result of this study is the lowest error that we got as the Mean Square Error (MSE) is 0.00% and is inversely proportional with the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Avalanche with 79.36% and 34.91% in order that is not stable for result of Avalanche Effect (AVA). Inversely proportional to the length of the text that is hidden in the image, the longest text that is hidden, the more changes that we get in the image with the highest Unified Average Changing Intensity (UACI) and Number of Pixels Change Rate (NPCR) with the biggest image size with 43.47% for UACI and 99.87% for the NPCR.

An e-Commerce company has been using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for several years, but is still constrained in its implementation, this is reflected in the number of issue/change request tickets submitted by users who have not been able to reach ideal conditions. To overcome this problem, we need an appropriate reference model, the ERP system user acceptance model in companies. The study conducted factors that influence the level of acceptance of SAP ERP users in the XYZ group to then determine a model that is able to explain practically the level of ERP system user acceptance, which in turn can produce concrete proposals to increase ERP system user acceptance. Research is quantitative descriptive using factor analysis and regression analysis methods. The research method uses a questionnaire with a total of 107 valid respondents coming from 8 company names under the XYZ group in 6 Southeast Asian countries. The conclusion of the study is that there are 24 indicators and 4 factors that influence user acceptance of the SAP ERP system. These four factors are the low contribution of the ERP system, the quality of ERP systems and data, the development of ERP systems, and also the low quality of ERP system supporters. It is hoped that by optimizing the value of the 4 factors, the XYZ group can increase user acceptance of the SAP ERP system so that the system can provide benefits expected by the company to be competitive advantage. © 2021 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
