Gaussian Process Latent Variable Models (GPLVMs) have become increasingly popular for unsupervised tasks such as dimensionality reduction and missing data recovery due to their flexibility and non-linear nature. An importance-weighted version of the Bayesian GPLVMs has been proposed to obtain a tighter variational bound. However, this version of the approach is primarily limited to analyzing simple data structures, as the generation of an effective proposal distribution can become quite challenging in high-dimensional spaces or with complex data sets. In this work, we propose an Annealed Importance Sampling (AIS) approach to address these issues. By transforming the posterior into a sequence of intermediate distributions using annealing, we combine the strengths of Sequential Monte Carlo samplers and VI to explore a wider range of posterior distributions and gradually approach the target distribution. We further propose an efficient algorithm by reparameterizing all variables in the evidence lower bound (ELBO). Experimental results on both toy and image datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the-art methods in terms of tighter variational bounds, higher log-likelihoods, and more robust convergence. © 2024, CC BY.

As soon as the lockdown was established in Jakarta, Indonesia, people experienced a change in Jakarta's air quality. This research was conducted to answer several challenges such as: where to find Indonesia's air quality open data platforms, how to handle the acquired data with SQL technology, and how to validate whether the air quality of Jakarta was significantly changed from a period to another or not. With particulate matter 2.5 (PM 2.5) data acquired by The United States Diplomatic Post in South Jakarta, a data visualization was generated to describe the fluctuation of PM 2.5 from February 29th to June 29th. By conducting a two-sample t-test, a significant change in South Jakarta's air quality was revealed. The test concluded that South Jakarta's air quality got worse even after a lockdown was established. © 2021 IEEE.

An Enhanced Explicit Port Forwarding Solution for Improving Video Delivery over Software-Defined Networks

In order to improve video delivery, an Enhanced Explicit Port Forwarding (EEPF) solution is proposed. Data are divided into ordinary packets and video packets using a packet identification mechanism. Traditional mechanisms transmit packets through routing table lookup. As the size of the routing table often becomes excessively large, this lookup can be time-consuming. While the EEPF solution directly includes the transmission path in the video packet, which can reduce the transmission time. And by setting header flags/fields in video packets, the transmission can be further optimized. For example, to reduce the amount of duplicate data to be transmitted for broadcast packets are not replicated until they arrive at the destination switch;to avoid packet loss caused by disconnection, the transmission path can be monitored and rerouting can be initiated immediately in the event of disconnection;to increase the chance of successful delivery, packets can be replicated before they are transmitted via a path with high packet loss risk;and to prevent video packets from being discarded, the switch queue status can be monitored and managed. The testing results have shown that the EEPF solution can effectively shorten the time of video packet transmission and improve the quality of transmitted video. © 2023 Taiwan Academic Network Management Committee. Data Encryption Standard (DES) is a symmetric encryption algorithm that uses a single key to encrypt and decrypt information. In addition, the cipher text will be hidden inside an image using Stepic. DES Encryption use symmetric encryption to encrypt and decryption to decrypt. It will secure the symmetric encryption and maintain the speed of the encryption and decryption. The result of this study is the lowest error that we got as the Mean Square Error (MSE) is 0.00% and is inversely proportional with the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Avalanche with 79.36% and 34.91% in order that is not stable for result of Avalanche Effect (AVA). Inversely proportional to the length of the text that is hidden in the image, the longest text that is hidden, the more changes that we get in the image with the highest Unified Average Changing Intensity (UACI) and Number of Pixels Change Rate (NPCR) with the biggest image size with 43.47% for UACI and 99.87% for the NPCR.

An e-Commerce company has been using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for several years, but is still constrained in its implementation, this is reflected in the number of issue/change request tickets submitted by users who have not been able to reach ideal conditions. To overcome this problem, we need an appropriate reference model, the ERP system user acceptance model in companies. The study conducted factors that influence the level of acceptance of SAP ERP users in the XYZ group to then determine a model that is able to explain practically the level of ERP system user acceptance, which in turn can produce concrete proposals to increase ERP system user acceptance. Research is quantitative descriptive using factor analysis and regression analysis methods. The research method uses a questionnaire with a total of 107 valid respondents coming from 8 company names under the XYZ group in 6 Southeast Asian countries. The conclusion of the study is that there are 24 indicators and 4 factors that influence user acceptance of the SAP ERP system. These four factors are the low contribution of the ERP system, the quality of ERP systems and data, the development of ERP systems, and also the low quality of ERP system supporters. It is hoped that by optimizing the value of the 4 factors, the XYZ group can increase user acceptance of the SAP ERP system so that the system can provide benefits expected by the company to be competitive advantage. © 2021 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

IoT is increasingly being used in different areas of society. IoT is used in society by collecting values acquired by sensor devices through networks and analysing the data. IoT software is needed to use the IoT, but efficient software development methods are desired because software for an increasingly complex society tends to become more complex. This research aims to improve the efficiency of IoT software and develop an intuitive method for developing IoT *** paper proposes a development methodology that combines a data-flow-based programming approach with a procedural programming language. When the focus is on data, data flow programming is intuitive and efficient. On the other hand, when the focus is on data processing, it is better to use a procedural programming language because data is processed sequentially[1].In the hybrid IoT programming environment proposed in this paper, the code of a procedural programming language is generated from the description by data flow programming, and the program is executed by a micro *** products of this research are available as open source software[2], [3].

Hadamard Attention Recurrent Transformer: A Strong Baseline for Stereo Matching Transformer

In light of the advancements in transformer technology, extant research posits the construction of stereo transformers as a potential solution to the binocular stereo matching challenge. However, constrained by the low-rank bottleneck and quadratic complexity of attention mechanisms, stereo transformers still fail to demonstrate sufficient nonlinear expressiveness within a reasonable inference time. The lack of focus on key homonymous points renders the representations of such methods vulnerable to challenging conditions, including reflections and weak textures. Furthermore, a slow computing speed is not conducive to the application. To overcome these difficulties, we present the Hadamard Attention Recurrent Stereo Transformer (HART) that incorporates the following components: 1) For faster inference, we present a Hadamard product paradigm for the attention mechanism, achieving linear computational complexity. 2) We designed a Dense Attention Kernel (DAK) to amplify the differences between relevant and irrelevant feature responses. This allows HART to focus on important details. DAK also converts zero elements to non-zero elements to mitigate the reduced expressiveness caused by the low-rank bottleneck. 3) To compensate for the spatial and channel interaction missing in the Hadamard product, we propose MKOI to capture both global and local information through the interleaving of large and small kernel convolutions. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our HART. In reflective area, HART ranked 1st on the KITTI 2012 benchmark among all published methods at the time of submission. Extension concept mapping is a technique to connect prior existing concept maps with a relevant new knowledge structure. It provides learners with the opportunity to review initial ideas, eliciting missing relationships, adding new components, and improve knowledge structure. While the current study proposed that the Extended Kit-Build design promotes students' achievements, it has yet to evaluate the students' perception. This study investigated the effects of Extended Kit-Build concept mapping design on students' perceptions using the Technology Acceptance Model. The perceived ease-of-use, perceived usefulness, and Behavioral Intention constructs were used to investigate users' intention to use the Extended Kit-Build tool in learning. The results reported that the learners perceived positive effects on Extended Kit-Build as ease of use and a useful learning tool. They also have a high intention to use the tool in the future. © 2021 IEEE.

Also, CUSP can help us check sleep quality and analyze metabolism, movement-consciously, with GEU. Based upon two scaling rules, CUSP with GEU can be used for homes, hospitals, schools, and vehicles for good health and Quality-of-Life improvement. © 2022 IEEE.
