The individual of population in standard self-adaptive evolutionary programming (EP) is composed as a pair of objective variable and strategy parameter. Therefore, EP must evolve both objective variable and strategy parameter. In standard evolutionary programming (CEP), these evolutions are implemented by mutation based on only Gaussian random number. On the other hand, fast evolutionary programming (FEP) uses Cauchy random number as evolution of objective variable and exponential evolutionary programming (EEP) uses exponential random number as evolution of objective variable. However, all of these EP (CEP, FEP and EEP) commonly uses Gaussian random number as evolution of strategy parameter. In this paper, we propose new EEP algorithm (NEP) which uses double exponential random number for both evolution of objective variable and strategy parameter. The experimental results show that this new algorithm (NEP) outperforms the existing CEP and FEP.

In this paper, we capture the impact of an ARQ scheme in the MAC/LLC layer with a forward error-correcting code on upper-layer packet transmissions over a Markovian channel by examining the performance of a single service data unit which may be either a TCP segment or a UDP packet. We assume that the ACK/NACK delay of ARQ blocks belong to a single service data unit is less than the transmission period of each ARQ block. The performance measures of a single service data unit transmission are derived in terms of the transmission success and failure probabilities given a retransmission time-out value, retransmission timeout probability and the moments of transmission delay. Further, the queueing performance of a service data unit transmitter is also presented by varying average received signal-to-noise ratio, mobile velocity, number of ARQ blocks needed to transmit a single service data unit, number of retransmissions for each ARQ block and error-correcting capability applied to an ARQ block. From numerical examples, renegotiation between a serving base station and a mobile station is needed, when the mobile station is far from the serving base station in order that a service data unit is fragmented into a larger number of ARQ blocks in order to apply high error-correcting capability for each one

Formal methods offer the promise of significant improvement on quality and reliability of critical embedded software. B-Method is employed to develop general-service ballistic computer programs in the paper, each of which can be adapted to a family of service/weapon-specific ballistic computers. Based on the structuring mechanisms of B-method, a unified approach is proposed to systematically control the complexity of ballistic parameters in the process of type and operation refinement, and ultimately a series of high reliable, reusable, and scalable programs are produced. The OSGi provides a service platform which ensures the interoperability between heterogeneous technologies and various devices in home network environment. Nowadays, user access control is one of the core parts which should be cleared, but there are no concrete researches yet. So in this paper, we propose a supplemented authorization policy management framework based on RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) for user access control at home network environment in which the OSGi service platform is operated. The proposed access control framework improves effectiveness, assures privacy and provides convenience at the same time. In conclusion, we provide the base to implement the effective, safe, and convenient the OSGi service platform by proposing the new framework in authorization and user administration part.
