This study aims at identifying the effect of the millennial generation's perceptions regarding risks, security, and trust in the Internet when utilizing e-government services. A total of 291 data items were collected through online surveys and this information was analysed quantitatively with the SEM method by employing the Smart PLS application. The confidence of this generation in applications is observed to be influenced by software quality and trust in the internet, but not information quality and faith in the government. Furthermore, trust in the internet is unaffected by internal risk, while the intention to use this medium is influenced by reliance on applications and also affected user behaviour. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

There are information mining methodologies that emphasize the importance of planning for requirements elicitation along the entire project in an orderly, documented, consistent and traceable manner. However, given the characteristics of this type of project, the approach proposed by the classical requirements engineering is not applicable to the process of identifying the problem of information mining, nor allows to infer from the business domain modelling, the information mining process which solves it. This paper proposes an extension of semantic nets and frames to represent knowledge of the business domain, business problem and problem of information mining;and a methodology to derive the information mining process from the proposed knowledge representations is introduced. © 2014 Springer International Publishing Switzerland.

Selection and prioritization of software requirements represents an area of interest in Search-Based Software Engineering (SBSE) and its main focus is finding and selecting a set of requirements that may be part of a software release. This paper uses a systematic review to investigate which SBSE approaches have been proposed to address software requirement selection and prioritization problems. The search strategy identified 30 articles in this area and they were analyzed for 18 previously established quality criteria. The results of this systematic review show which aspects of the requirements selection and prioritization problems were addressed by researchers, the methods approaches and search techniques currently adopted to address these problems, and the strengths and weaknesses of each of these techniques. The review provides a map showing the gaps and trends in the field, which can be useful to guide further research. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.

Context: In software development, new functionalities and bug fixes are required to ensure a better user experience and to preserve software value for a longer period. Sometimes developers need to implement quick changes to meet deadlines rather than a better solution that would take longer. These easy choices, known as Technical Debt, can cause long-term negative impacts because they can bring extra effort to the team in the future. Technical debts must be managed and detected so that the team can evaluate the best way to deal with them and avoid more serious problems. One way to detect technical debts is through source code comments. Developers often insert comments in which they admit that there is a need to improve that part of the code later. This is known as Self-Admitted Technical Debt (SATD). Objective: Evaluate a Long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network model combined with Word2vec for word embedding to identify design and requirement SATDs from comments in source code. Method: We performed a controlled experiment to evaluate the quality of the model compared with two language models from literature and LSTM without word embedding in a labelled dataset. Results: The results showed that the LSTM model with Word2vec have improved in recall and f-measure. The LSTM model without word embedding achieves greater recall, but perform worse in precision and f-measure. This paper reviews the latest trends and challenges in implementing digital twin technology. A digital twin is a tool used in various industries to improve efficiency, optimize processes, and enable advanced analysis. The review involved searching major research databases and search engines for articles published between 2018 and 2023. The findings reveal several important trends, including the development of different types of digital twin dimensions, each with its own advantages and limitations. The benefits of digital twin implementation include improved decision-making, increased productivity, and operational efficiency. However, there are challenges, such as data integration, security and privacy concerns, a lack of standardization, and the need for experts to effectively design and operate digital twins. The implications of these trends and challenges are discussed regarding their impact on the successful adoption and implementation of digital twin technology. The review also highlights the need to address these challenges and explore new approaches for maximizing the benefits of digital twin technology. Overall, this comprehensive review is a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners, and organizations seeking to understand the current landscape, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions when implementing digital twin technology. © 2023 IEEE.

The paradigm of polygenic risk score (PRS) has recently been getting much wider attention. PRS is a mathematical aggregate reflection of the risk conferred by deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) variations to estimate the susceptibility of people to some certain onset of diseases. It is enumerated by summing risk alleles which are weighted by effect sizes in a large population derived from genome-wide association study (GWAS) where the gene variations are reproducible in different sets of GWAS. The emerging of direct-to-consumer genetics testing has tremendously increased access to genetics testing for broader users. The result of this genetics testing can be used as a disease predictive tool. One of the applications is PRS. PRS is a mathematical aggregate reflection of the risk conferred by DNA variations to estimate the susceptibility of people to some certain onset of diseases. However, the accessibility of these heavy statistics and mathematical models is limited to certain groups such as physicians and researchers. The objective of this study is to propose a conceptual design of web based PRS calculation available for public users. The users can maximize the utilization of their genotype data as a predictive tool for various disease risks. The design presented in this paper including the proposed class diagram, use case diagram, user journey diagram, and a series of user interface mock-ups. This result can be used as a prototype to gain users' feedback before implementing in production stage. © 2021 IEEE.

Indonesia is one of the biggest agriculture countries in the world with one of its major commodities, rice. Despite its vast paddy field and tropical resources, Indonesia still has not achieved food security. This paper explores ideas about how to present artificial intelligence that may increase rice productivity in Indonesia. Current situations of rice cultivation are mentioned start from existing technologies and systems used in Indonesia. Some artificial intelligence concepts are also introduced. Artificial Intelligence use in rice farming is then analyzed which ideas may be applicable to increase efficiency further. Those that are already implemented in rice farming include diseases and pest detection, prediction and estimation, and automated intelligent systems. In the proposed idea section, ideas to increase production are explored. Using advanced technologies may not be suitable for Indonesia's rice farmers. One argument is to minimize the differences in rice yield in different areas or so what we called yield gap. Factors such as weather, water, and harvest date are those with most impacts on the yield gap. It is beneficial to have a model that can predict the optimal planting date of rice since that will maximize the factors before. Among those implemented, a planting calendar prediction on rice-based on rainfall is already developed. However, rainfall is not the only factor. El-Nino occurrences and temperature changes also have a role in deciding when best to plant rice. The author suggests adding those two new variables, making three in total to the earlier neural network model may improve the overall result. © 2019 IEEE.

In life, various challenges and problems faced by deaf people such as communication skills and other problems, including emotional, mental, and societal development. However, technology is needed that can help the process. This Smart Application try to build communication between the deaf to share thoughts in group chats, including getting information about the deaf, so that the communication learning process for the deaf becomes easier. The proposed model is using Unified Modeling Languages (UML) diagrams, such as case diagrams for the current proposed idea process and class diagrams for relational tables or database stores. In addition, the User interface (UI) is implemented in this research work, Personal Home Pages (PHP) as a web server programming and MySQL database as an open-source database. © 2023 IEEE.

We as a human can not avoid the disease, and when we are sick, we need to see a practical doctor. However, in term of location and patient's right for changing the practical doctor, then the patient when moving from one practical doctor to others will have similar and repeated questions such as medicine allergy, history of diseases and so on. Moreover, become a problem for a vulnerable patient such as unconscious patient, disabled or elderly when seeing a new practical doctor and at the end of the day, it will become malpractice. Few of the causes of the problem above are the lack of health education, delay in diagnosing/misdiagnosis, and inaccessible healthcare facilities and with the increasing popularity of telemedicine and IoT across the world, then we need to apply IoT in order to help the patient. In this paper, a framework is created and designed for an IoT-integrated mobile application for the patient where this mobile application is expected to be implemented. © 2019 IEEE.

Air pollution is a pressing issue in cities, and managing air quality poses a challenge for urban designers and decision-makers. This study proposes a Digital Twin (DT) Smart City integrated with Mixed Reality technology to enhance visualization and collaboration for addressing urban air pollution. The research adopts an applied research approach, with a focus on developing a DT framework. A use case of DT development for Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, is presented. By integrating air quality data, meteorological information, traffic patterns, and urban infrastructure data, the DT provides a comprehensive understanding of air pollution dynamics. The visualization capabilities of the DT, utilizing Mixed Reality technology, facilitate effective decision-making and the identification of strategies for managing air quality. However, further research is needed to address data management challenges to build a DT for Smart City at scale. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
