This paper discusses basic culinary learning in universities using gamification techniques. The learning objectives are carried out to improve maximum learning outcomes, create a sense of pleasure and joy (satisfaction), and increase motivation. Although the author realizes that gamification is not the only learning technique that must be applied. The success of learning can be influenced by various factors including the internal factors of students and lecturers which until now have become the most important factors. Apart from the curriculum, social environment, and methods used, gamification is an alternative to produce maximum value, satisfaction, and motivation. The gamification technique is done by dividing students into several groups, each group consisting of 4 to 6 students. Each half-semester group is given learning by conventional methods and the next half-semester is given learning by gamification. Both will be evaluated through the results of the assessment in the form of statistics. The results obtained by using gamification on average have 10 to 20 points better than conventional methods. Students and lecturers become satisfied, motivated and get maximum test scores and they become more creative and innovative due to direct student involvement and fast interaction between lecturers and students. © 2021 IEEE.

The rise of artificial intelligence agents and information technology platforms governed by data-driven algorithms has had profound impacts on the way knowledge work is managed and carried out. Concerning the novel uses of digital work platforms, the arising tensions might suggest that the socio-technical design frameworks adopted by major tech firms are becoming less viable and in some cases ineffective. We propose a conceptual architecture to support a socio-technical framework for exploring Personal Knowledge Ecologies in the context of the digital knowledge economy. This framework aims to increase the degree of individual freedom for the interoperation of these knowledge information infrastructures.

Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is a brain disorder that causes dementia and affects the memory, cognitive, and behavioral function. Early detection for AD can help to reduce the symptoms and slow down AD progression. Deep learning, particularly Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), a component of artificial intelligence, has demonstrated efficacy in resolving image-related issues and has gained widespread use in the analysis of medical images. CNN works well on large datasets, however, in imbalanced datasets, it can perform poorly by misclassifying minority classes. In this study, the random over-sampling technique is used to address the imbalance in the dataset, while Albumentations is used for image augmentation to prevent overfitting. The results demonstrate that the combination of these techniques leads to improved classification performance compared to traditional approaches. The proposed method has the potential to improve the accuracy of AD diagnosis and contribute to the development of effective treatments for this debilitating condition.

Fish image classification presents an intriguing challenge in the field of computer vision. This research aims to develop an accurate classification model to differentiate between four different fish species using a convolutional neural network. The dataset used consists of $\mathbf{3 0 1 0}$ fish images, divided into training, validation, and testing sets. The convolutional neural network model was trained both with and without data augmentation. Evaluation results show that the model trained with data augmentation achieved an accuracy of $95 \%$ with a loss value of 0.0983, slightly better than the model without augmentation which achieved an accuracy of $94.56 \%$ with a loss value of $\mathbf{0. 1 7 9 4}$. This indicates that data augmentation techniques are effective in improving model performance, likely because augmentation helps the model generalize better to variations in fish image data. The results of this research demonstrate the significant potential of convolutional neural network for fish image classification tasks. The developed model can serve as a foundation for the development of computer vision-based applications such as automatic fish species identification in fisheries or educational applications. Further research can be conducted by exploring different convolutional neural network architectures, more advanced data augmentation techniques, and larger datasets to improve model performance.

computer vision has been used in many areas such as medical, transportation, military, geography, etc. The fast development of sensor devices inside camera and satellite provides not only red-greed-blue (RGB) images but also multispectral dataset with some channels including RGB, infrared, short-wave, and thermal wave. Most of the dataset is panchromatic (black and white) and RGB, for example Google Map and other satellite-based map applications. This study examines the effects of multispectral dataset for semantic segmentation of land cover. The comparison between RGB with band 2 to band 7 of Landsat 8 Satellite shows an improvement of accuracy from 90.283 to 94.473 for U-Net and from 91.76 to 95.183 for DeepLabV3+. In addition, this research also compares two well-known semantic segmentation methods, namely U-Net and DeepLabV3+, that shown that DeepLabV3+ outperformed U-Net regarding to speed and accuracy. Testing was conducted in the Karawang Regency area, West Java, Indonesia.

Additive manufacturing is an innovative production approach aimed at creating products that traditional techniques cannot produce with the desired quality and requirements. Throughout the additive manufacturing process, data is either used (such as materials properties, printer characteristics and settings) or generated (such as monitoring data during printing, slicing strategies setting parameters). However, managing such data with complex relationships remains a significant challenge in both research and industry in the additive manufacturing field. To address this issue, we developed a modular ontology that can be used as the basis for a framework that supports decision-making systems, facilitate semanticsaware data management, and enhance the understanding and optimization of additive manufacturing processes. In this paper we focus on one of the state-of-the-art additive manufacturing approaches, i.e., powder bed fusion. To show the use and the feasibility of our approach, we created a knowledge graph for an actual additive manufacturing experiment based on our ontology, and show how queries relevant to domain experts can be answered using this knowledge graph. © 2024 CEUR-WS. The ability of robots to imitate human learning strategies-rapidly adapting to new tasks without large datasets-has garnered significant attention in meta-learning. Meta-reinforcement learning seeks to enhance robotic agent flexibility across diverse tasks and contexts, offering promise where single-task learning often fails. Despite advancements like multi-task diffusion models and task-weighted optimization mechanisms, effectively training tasks with varying complexities simultaneously remains a major challenge. This paper introduces a novel meta-reinforcement learning method that addresses this issue by clustering the training tasks of robotic arms based on semantic and trajectory similarities, while leveraging adaptive learning rates and task-specific weights proposed by the multitask optimization techniques. Our approach, TEAM, emphasizes performance-driven semantic clustering, optimizing based on robotic task similarity, complexity, and convergence objectives. We also integrate fast adaptive and multi-task optimization of the diffusion model to enhance computational efficiency and adaptability. More specifically, we introduce a cluster-specific optimization technique, using specialized parameters for each group to allow more refined task handling. The experimental validation demonstrates the effectiveness of this scalable method in improving performance, adaptability, and efficiency in real-world, heterogeneous robotic tasks, further advancing robotic computing in meta-reinforcement learning.

Based on WHO’s data, breast cancer is one of the most deadly diseases that has claimed many victims, especially women. This disease begins with the presence of an undetected and eventually turns into malignant (cancer). This happens due to ignorance of the importance of having a medical check-up even though in good health. Doctors and researchers can prevent the development of tumor cells through treatment that begins with radiological examinations to identify the possibility of a person being affected by this disease. One of the most frequently used techniques is Mammography. This technique can detect the presence of tumor cells using advanced technology and several methods in displaying the patient’s diagnostic results on low-dose X-rays in the form of mammogram images. The technology is inseparable from the methods used to identify the presence of tumor cells. In this study, we have proposed the CNN method based on the deep-CNN model to identify mammogram images in the detection of breast cancer cells with average evaluation results in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, specificity, and f-measure on mammogram image datasets of 99.52%, 99.72%, 99.31%, 99.72%, and 99.5%. These results showed that this method has a good performance in breast cancer detection.

This purpose of this study is find empirically The effect of management accounting information systems and decision making on managerial performance. The research method used is quantitative research methods with primary data obtained from questionnaire data which is measured using a likert scale. The result found that management accounting information system and decision making influence managerial performance. The results showed that the smaller the management accounting information system and decision making owned by the company, the smaller the percentage of managerial performance carried out in the company. The higher the management accounting information system, the higher the company's managerial performance.

The advent of digital technology has contributed to experiencing liquid lifestyles and flexible work arrangements with different mobility routes and targets. Escaping the exhausting routine of commuting to and from work has been a key driver of digital nomadism, a phenomenon that has become increasingly widespread across the globe and is often centered around cross-border travel and expatriate settlement. Due to their frequent mobility, digital nomads face unique challenges in fostering a sense of place-belongingness compared to most other types of workers. Despite the popularity of digital nomadic work/life in the current public discourse, there is no standardized guidebook for understanding how digital technology already supports or could potentially support the sense of place-belongingness among these voluntary migrants. Motivated by this line of research, in our paper, we propose an initial guide with practical methodological considerations on how to investigate this phenomenon using qualitative and quantitative materials. Such studies can assist strategists and organizations in attracting new talent and fostering more inclusive environments.
