Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is an exceptionally aggressive type of breast cancer defined by the absence of estrogen receptors, progesterone receptors, and HER2 expression. Timely detection and precise diagnosis are vital for effective treatment and enhanced patient outcomes. This research introduces a new strategy for improving the semantic segmentation of TNBC cells in histological images by utilizing a modified U-Net architecture. Accurately segmenting TNBC cells in histological images poses significant challenges due to the complex and heterogeneous characteristics of breast tissue. Current techniques often fall short in capturing detailed nuances and separating cancerous cells from non-cancerous tissue. To tackle these issues, we propose a modified U-Net architecture that uses "same"padding throughout the entire network. This design choice ensures that the output segmentation mask matches the dimensions of the input image, enabling more accurate localization of cancer cells. Furthermore, the U-Net's natural ability to capture both contextual information and intricate details makes it particularly suitable for this objective. Our proposed modified U-Net architecture outperformed baseline methods, achieving superior segmentation accuracy and better capturing the intricate features of TNBC cells. The implementation of "same"padding significantly contributed to improving the localization accuracy of the segmentation masks. © 2024 IEEE.

This study has designed and developed a facial recognition-based attendance management system for educational. The manual attendance management system consumes more time and is difficult to maintain. This will be replaced by automatic attendance management system. The existing automated attendance management system is highly unreliable, resulting in inaccuracies and poor attendance maintenance records. Facial recognition technology will play a significant role in assisting these efforts. Facial recognition is one of the most effective biometric techniques. One of the natural traits that may be utilized to distinguish one person from another is face recognition. Hence, this study utilizes an approach based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). Here, the face recognition dataset is trained to the proposed CNN model. Using the Open CV face recognition approach, an input image will be processed and a face will be detected and then a spreadsheet will also be utilized to record attendance. As soon as a person is recognized, the essential information gets stored in an excel spreadsheet, and finally the attendance will be recorded. A report containing the attendance data will then be sent to parents at the end of each school day. Moreover, the student's attendance information is sent to the parents via SMS. Additionally, this study recommended sending the parents a summary of the student's grades as well as attendance information. The primary objective of this study is to keep students and staff safe and fully present in class, as well as to eliminate the manual attendance marking method and save time. © 2023 IEEE.

Real estate price prediction is a critical task for various stakeholders, including buyers, sellers, and investors. Existing methods often face challenges such as limited data availability, inadequate feature engineering, and the inability to adapt to dynamic market conditions. This research proposes a novel approach to address these limitations by leveraging machine learning and a Flask-based web application. The proposed system utilizes a comprehensive dataset encompassing various property attributes, including area type, location, total square footage, number of bathrooms, and balconies. A machine learning model is trained on this data to accurately predict real estate prices. The user-friendly web interface allows users to input property details and obtain real-time price estimates. The system's effectiveness is demonstrated through rigorous evaluation, showcasing its ability to provide reliable predictions and assist users in making informed decisions. The integration of machine learning and web technology offers a valuable tool for the real estate industry. © 2024 IEEE.

Zero correlation zone (ZCZ) sequences have been widely applied to quasi-synchronous code division multiple access system (QS-CDMA) and therefore have been extensively studied in recent years. In this paper, ZCZ sequence sets are constructed. The presented ZCZ sequence sets have the following properties: 1) each sequence in the constructed sequence set is perfect;2) each set is an optimal ZCZ sequence set with parameters (N2,N,N);3) the maximum inter-set cross-correlation of the given multiple sequence sets meets the Sarwate bound. © 2023 IEEE.

Video in an outdoor environment suffers from the haze problem due to smoke, dust, and other particles in the atmosphere. The quality of video under these atmospheric conditions is clearly/dramatically degraded, leading to poor contrast and information leakage. The proposed algorithm in this paper depends on pre-processing of video frames prior to the dehazing process. Different enhancement techniques are used to remove noise and control the dynamic range, because each frame has some noise due to sensor measurement errors. This noise might be magnified during the haze removal process, if totally neglected. Previous dehazing algorithms enhance the video contrast and reduce frame degradation. We use optimized dehazing algorithms, namely a dual-transmission-map dehazing algorithm, and a recursive Deep Residual Learning (DRL) network, as dehazing tools. We modify the previous dehazing algorithms to generate new algorithms to be suitable not only for visible frames but also for Near Infrared (NIR) frames. In the optimized dehazing algorithms, the haze effect is reduced, according to the hazing model. In the dual-transmission-map dehazing algorithm, the effect of attenuation parameter R and attenuation weight U on the dehazed frames is investigated. A dual-transmission-map algorithm, depending on the Dark Channel Prior (DCP) technique, is studied. We study the effect of a regularization parameter Ω on the visible and NIR dehazed frames without and with enhancement techniques. For the recursive deep residual learning algorithm, we increase the number of iterations in the DRL network from three iterations in the traditional DRL algorithm without denoising techniques to nine iterations, in order to explore the impact of increasing the number of iterations on the output dehazed frames. Since elapsed time grows with the number of iterations, we terminate the operation after the ninth iteration. A comparison between traditional algorithms and the proposed dehazing algorithms is

In current applications such as smart cities, smart grids, and industrial wireless sensor networks, the Internet of Things (IoT) plays a major role to build many wireless sensor network (WSN) applications. To develop such applications, the primary requirement is to develop a stable short-range enabled WSN. Furthermore, the IEEE 802.15.4 standard establishes a short-range reliable communication between the devices in WSN. However, the clear channel assessment (CCA) adopted in the standard is not suitable for all the network scenarios. In this paper, we develop an optimized CCA algorithm for the recurrent data transmitted in the star topology networks. Furthermore, the optimized CCA is analyzed with Markov chain model and validated using the MATLAB 2019a Tool. © 2024 IEEE.

Properly created and securely communicated,non-disclosure agreement(NDA)can resolve most of the common disputes related to outsourcing of offshore software maintenance(OSMO).Occasionally,these NDAs are in the form of *** the work is done offshore,these agreements or images must be shared through the Internet or stored over the *** breach of privacy,on the other hand,is a potential threat for the image owners as both the Internet and cloud servers are not void of *** article proposes a novel algorithm for securing the NDAs in the form of *** an agreement is signed between the two parties,it will be encrypted before sending to the cloud server or travelling through the public network,the *** the image is input to the algorithm,its pixels would be scrambled through the set of randomly generated rectangles for an arbitrary amount of *** confusion effects have been realized through an XOR operation between the confused image,and chaotic ***,5D multi-wing hyperchaotic system has been employed to spawn the chaotic vectors due to good properties of chaoticity it *** machine experimentation and the security analysis through a comprehensive set of validation metric vividly demonstrate the robustness,defiance to the multifarious threats and the prospects for some real-world application of the proposed encryption algorithm for the NDA images.
