The fourth industrial revolution has seen the evolution and wide adoption of game-changing and disruptive innovation "financial technologies (FinTech)" around the globe. However, the security of FinTech systems and networks remains critical. This paper comprehensively reviews the evolving landscape of cybersecurity issues within the FinTech sector and explores effective mitigation measures. Four independent researchers reviewed relevant literature from IEEE Xplore Digital Library, ScienceDirect, Taylor & Francis, Emerald Insight, Springer, SAGE, Wiley Online Library, Hindawi, MDPI, ACM Digital Library, IGI Global, and Google Scholar. The research paper begins by examining the history and evolution of FinTech, drivers for the growth of FinTech, segments of the FinTech industry, FinTech ecosystem, FinTech business model, and FinTech application. Subsequently, it then delves into an analysis of the most pressing cybersecurity issues confronting FinTech firms, such as privacy concerns, data breaches, malware attacks, hacking, insider threats, identity theft, social engineering attacks, distributed denial-of-service attacks, and others. In response to these cybersecurity issues, the paper evaluates various mitigation strategies and best practices adopted by FinTech firms and regulatory bodies globally. These measures include technological solutions such as authentication and access control mechanisms, cryptography, big data analytics, intrusion detection/prevention systems, regular data backup, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cloud computing technologies, blockchain technologies, and fraud detection and prevention systems. The paper also emphasizes the importance of FinTech regulatory sandboxes, regulatory compliance, basic security training, continuous monitoring of threats, zero-trust policy, robust cybersecurity culture, regular testing, and stringent security policies to strengthen the FinTech ecosystem's cyber resilience. A developed adaptive forecasting model for cloud resource allocation is presented. It employs principal component analysis on a sequence of virtual machine (VM) requests. Requests are processed to detect anomalies, and adaptive predictions are computed using EEMD-ARIMA or EEMD-RT-ARIMA methods. The choice between EEMD-ARIMA and EEMD-RT-ARIMA methods is determined by comparing the execution time values Ri (sequential series test) with the threshold value Rt d. If Ri > Rtd, EEMD-ARIMA is used;if Ri ≤ Rt d, EEMD-RT-ARIMA is applied. This adaptive approach enables the selection of a prediction method based on data characteristics and resource demands. To optimize the selection of the Rt d threshold, the impact on accuracy and time costs is examined. A quartile method is utilized to detect dynamic spikes, and cubic spline interpolation is employed to smooth data. EEMDRT-ARIMA-based forecasting enhances accuracy through preprocessing of dynamic spikes and adaptive method selection. Calculations of time costs indicate that this method reduces forecasting time by 1.5 times by extracting core component sequences. © 2023 IEEE.

Selective laser melting (SLM) is a three dimensional (3D) printing process which can manufacture functional parts with complex geometries as an alternative to using traditional processes (i.e. via machining of wrought metal). The fabricated parts can be then machined if precision and high surface finish are required, particularly when miniature channels/geometries smaller than 1 mm are to be made on the part. Therefore, micro milling has a significant role in the production of such miniscule geometries. In this experimental effort, the micro machinability of Ti-6Al-4V (Ti64) parts produced via SLM compared with wrought Ti64. The aim is to study the effect of micro milling parameters: feeds per tooth of 0.05, 0.1, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 5 and 10 μm/tooth, cutting depths of 25, 50, 100 and 200 μm and spindle speeds of 5000, 10000, 20000 and 50000 rpm © 2023, The Authors. Fog computing extends the capabilities of cloud computing by enabling computing at the edge of the network, involving devices such as mobile collaborative devices or fixed nodes with integrated storage, computing, and communication capabilities. Fog computing offers benefits such as improved efficiency, increased security, savings in network bandwidth, and increased flexibility. In order to provide a complete understanding of Fog computing, this paper presents its salient features and highlights the differences from cloud computing research. Cloud computing is an emerging technology that offers computing resources on a pay-per-use basis. It provides three service models, and the cloud offers cost-effective centrally managed resources for reliable computing for specific tasks. This document presents a comparison between Fog computing and cloud computing, highlighting the differences in design, deployment, services, and tools available to organizations and users. By explicating the distinctiveness of fog computing and its contrast to cloud computing, we contribute to the field by shedding light on the unparalleled potential of fog computing in conserving resources while delivering robust computational solutions at the network periphery. Our study offers a new perspective that challenges the prevailing practices and extends the discourse on optimizing distributed computing architectures.

Educational, online learning has become a common practice due to rapid digitalization and recent global events. This study focuses on developing a comprehensive online learning platform that addresses users' needs by integrating advanced AI capabilities for personalized support and adaptive learning. The platform supports user registration and authentication, course and lesson management, and offers interactive features like AI-driven chat support. In this study, we show the importance of creating user-friendly online learning platforms with the implementation of modern AI trends. The development and testing of this platform is ongoing to determine the adaptation of the system to different learning styles.

With this work, a research contribution in the field of reliability theory has been made, with which a realistic prognosis of reliability parameters of technical systems can be carried out. The motivation to deal with this topic resulted from the realization that the prognosis quality of established prognosis models must be optimized. An early and realistic prognosis of reliability parameters contributes to the success of a concern, mainly through the early implementation of quality measures. The work focuses on the development of a new multivariate prognosis model, which uses multivariate stress parameters as reference variables. Its application enables the prediction of reliability parameters for electronic control units. The predicted reliability parameters can be specified as stress-dependent (bivariate/multivariate) or time-dependent variables. While univariate reference quantities usually use the time dwell time of a technical system, the prognosis model newly presented here can process multivariate reference quantities. During the time in the field, technical systems are not only exposed to different usage behavior, but also to other stresses and influences that make a not inconsiderable contribution to failure. The use of time in the field as a univariate reference variable does not allow for this differentiated consideration and does not take into account relevant information in the reliability analysis. All existing prediction models have in common that only univariate reference parameters can be processed. For a fully comprehensive reliability analysis, all stress variables that lead to a failure must be considered. This is not sufficiently possible with a simple univariate approach. With the new approaches, it is now possible for the first time to consider different stress variables, their changes and their effects on the technical system under investigation in a field data analysis. The report presents the results of a comparative analysis of methods for parameterization of cognitive models based on the use of fuzzy set theory and antonym logic. A digital image is usually stored as a two-dimensional matrix consisting of numerical values of the intensity of each color;for example, Red-Green-Blue (RGB). This fact allows a possibility of manipulation of the image data, including making measurements based on the images of a moving object. This paper presents a new approach for estimating distances between the centers of geometric shapes based on image analysis. The algorithm is based on determining the parameters of the matrices - the number of rows and columns of graphic images of target plates and creating vectors of the sums of their values. As a result of such manipulations, peaks (maxima, minima) are formed that coincide with the centers of the squares and circles displayed on the target plates. These peaks are the coordinates of the target centers. © 2021 IEEE.
