This report records and discusses the Fourth Workshop on Sustainable software for Science: Practice and Experiences (WSSSPE4). The report includes a description of the keynote presentation of the workshop, the mission and vision statements that were drafted at the workshop and finalized shortly after it, a set of idea papers, position papers, experience papers, demos, and lightning talks, and a panel discussion. The main part of the report covers the set of working groups that formed during the meeting, and for each, discusses the participants, the objective and goal, and how the objective can be reached, along with contact information for readers who may want to join the group. Micro-blogging is widely used nowadays. Most of the users normally write down their daily experience, feeling or emotion on their wall. This includes uploading photos of food they have taken. Some friends of this user might be interested in trying this food of which the photo has been uploaded by this user. However, it could be difficult for the friends to search that particular food on the Web as well as the exact location of the restaurant. In this paper, we provide a system that allows the users to search a particular food and produce the nearby restaurants on the Google Map. The proposed system will make the users to get the exact location of the restaurant easily.

In next-generation wireless networks, mobile nodes(MNs) need to freely change their network attachment point while communicating with others. Accordingly, it is crucial for mobile operators to provide efficient seamless mobility support. Several mobility protocols have been standardized by the working groups of the Internet engineering Task Force(IETF). However, none of them can provide seamless mobility support for users in the next-generation wireless network. This paper proposes a new seamless mobility support protocol, and presents performance comparison with existing mobility protocols, such as MIPv6 and its enhancements.

In this paper, we propose NewsFeedAndroid, a novel system that interconnects a social networking service and online newspaper sites in order to extracts news articles from the online news sites and to perform feeding of news articles to social network service (SNS) users. In NewsFeedAndroid, news information agents extract news article information from the news and portal sites using Minimum Description Length (MDL) wrapper induction algorithm. The news document collecting module regularly gathers news list information from news list page in the news sites and portals. In the collected documents, the document preprocessing module removes tags that are unnecessary for news information extraction. Lexical analyzer converts the rest text information and tags to a sequence of tokens, and news information is obtained by matching token patterns to the sequence. Those extracted news information from the various sites are integrated in the system and supplied to the end users through the social networking service on a smartphone. NewsFeedAndroid demonstrates a novel usage of integrating social networking services and online newspaper sites.

This study proposes a method that classifies Chinese social network positive-negative comments (Weibo) using naive Bayes algorithm trained from English social network (Twitter) corpus. We train our text classifier using Twitter corpus (in English language), and use this classifier to classify Chinese text. In the previous research, Chinese sentences are processed using Chinese word segmentation algorithms before the application of machine learning algorithm. Chinese word segmentation algorithms split Chinese sentences into a series of words since a Chinese word consists of several Chinese characters unlike English sentences. Therefore, the quality of word segmentation algorithm obviously influences the accuracy of Chinese text categorization problems. In our research, we eliminate Chinese word segmentation stage (a traditional preprocessing stage of Chinese text classification) to avoid the effect on the quality of segmentation algorithms. Instead of Chinese word segmentation processing, we translate Chinese text into English text via Google translator. Based on Twitter corpus, we directly generate a text classifier by using naive Bayes multinomial algorithm. Finally, the text classifier classifies a new Chinese text (a Weibo text, which has been translated into English by Google translation at preprocessing stage). We conduct an experiment comparing the performance of naive Bayes multinomial algorithm and C4.5 in terms of accuracy.

Test case prioritization is a technique to improve software testing. Although a lot of work has investigated test case prioritization, they focus on white box testing or regression testing. However, software testing is often outsourced to a software testing company, in which testers are rarely able to access to source code due to a contract. Herein a framework is proposed to prioritize test cases for black box testing on a new product using the test execution history collected from a similar prior product and the Ant Colony Optimization. A simulation using two actual products shows the effectiveness and practicality of our proposed framework.

This Nowadays system hear that CLOUD computing is ubiquitous. Most of tech giants have converted their owned in-house data centers to using CLOUD technology and outsourcing the part of their services to public cloud and to opt for hybrid cloud architecture. There is no doubt that CLOUDs have the potential for being the next generation model computational services, but with that potential comes the risk of theft and concerns related to security and privacy. A lot of development and progress has already been made in CLOUD technologies, there still remains a wide range of concerns this article system identify and classify the main security concerns and solutions in cloud computing, and propose a method of security in cloud environment. In this paper Row Column Diagonal (RCD) based engine has been proposed. Along with the cloud sub-cloud. Data Security using RCD engine in Cloud Environment is also explained. Further, RCD engine system has been proposed in "Central Cloud" and "RCD Supervisor" modes in Cloud environment along with the situation of uploading and downloading. Validation and analysis have been performed for RCD Engine and indicates RCD based engine is much powerful and secure. As RCD Algorithm is much more robust and easy to implement with considering all the aspects of main and sub cloud using RCD supervisor as the central body.

Today's cyber-physical systems (CPS) like advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in modern vehicles use a large variety of sensors to process data from their surroundings. Thereby, systems like lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control support the driver in tedious or critical traffic situations. During the development of such systems, engineers also use recorded sensor data in offline validations to complement simulations that exhibit optimal environmental conditions. Such recordings are an ever-growing data source, and thus, effective methods are needed to find proper recordings in databases to support the system validation. Textual annotations for these sensor recordings require a well-defined taxonomy and continuous maintenance. Instead of relying on such a manually maintained taxonomy, an automated method for identifying relevant scenarios from real world sensor recordings by using simulation models is described. The outlined approach is evaluated with real world data sets used by lane-detection algorithms from nine different projects. Results from these data sets of more than 2.3 GB show that finding relevant traffic scenarios is possible in less than 0.15s.
