The paper deals with the development of the method of activity and the realization of the intelligent agent (IA) for semantic analysis of the natural language software requirements. This IA performs the analysis of the requirements, determines the number and percentage of missing indicators for determining the metrics of complexity and quality of software, displays which indicators are missing for each metric, and also forms the real ontology of the domain "Software Engineering" (part "Quality and complexity of software. Metric analysis"). During an experiment, which is conducted with the help of the realized IA, the semantic analysis of requirements for the Internet of Things (IoT)-system was performed. Such analysis provides an increase of the volume and ensures of the sufficiency of metric information in the software requirements, which, in turn, provides an improvement in the quality of the software of IoT-system.

State identification sequences, such as homing and distinguishing sequences (HS and DS), are widely used in FSM (Finite State Machine) based testing in order to reduce the size of a returned complete test suite as well as minimize checking efforts in passive testing. Preset HS are known to always exist for deterministic complete reduced FSMs but it is not the case for nondeterministic FSMs. It is also known that in this case, adaptive HS exist more often and usually are shorter than the preset. Nowadays, a number of specifications are represented by nondeterministic FSMs and thus, a deeper study of such sequences is required. There exist sufficient and necessary conditions for the existence of an adaptive HS for complete nondeterministic FSMs when each state can be an initial state but those conditions become only sufficient for weakly initialized FSMs where only some states are initial. In this paper, we propose sufficient and necessary conditions for a weakly initialized FSM to have an adaptive homing sequence, possibly up to given length, which are based on deriving an appropriate so-called homing FSM. The experimental evaluation of the existence of adaptive and preset HS is performed for randomly generated FSMs. © 2019 IEEE.

Development the Numerical Method to Solve the Inverse Initial Value Problem for the Thermal Conductivity Equation of Composite Materials

In this paper, the heat conduction equation for composite materials posed and solved. This problem is known as an inverse initial value problem for the heat conduction equation. In order to solve and formulate this inverse problem, the function spaces must be defined and represented. By studying and solving the direct problem for the heat equation in composite materials, it is possible to determine the function spaces and solve the inverse initial value problem. Scientific methods used: the separation of variables method used to solve the direct problem for the heat equation. It found that method separation of variables does not completely lead to the solution of the inverse initial value problem, since this method leads to a divergent series of solutions and rather massive errors. The heat conduction problem can be formulated as Fredholm integral first kind equations. The discretization algorithm applied to reformulated the problem as linear operator problem as matrix and vectors form. Then, Tikhonov's regularization inversion method has been used to find an approximation solution. Finally, as shown in the numerical example the regularized approximate solutions obtained.

The methods of digital and pulse signal modulation in modern computer systems of data transmission are analysed. Process of forming non-redundant coding that use the errors detection and correction in the Galois basis are offered. Structures of special processors for forming signal correcting codes are built. Working algorithms for proposed coding methods are developed and their software implementation are offered. Circuit design of Galois code sequence generator is implemented. Work simulation and synthesis on FPGA of Xilinx are performed.

The paper focuses on the role of version redundancy, which increases with the expansion of critical applications and the tightening of their functional safety requirements. International standards governing these requirements have already fixed the importance of version redundancy to counter common cause failures in safety-related systems. The problem of hidden faults inherent in these systems is equally acute, undermining confidence in the fault tolerance of circuit solutions important for functional safety. We suggest that this problem be seen as a growth problem where the system rises to the level of diversification in modes of operation by dividing them into normal and emergency and checkability circuits, but components continue to be stamped at a lower level of replication. Then the solution to the problem is to raise the components to the level of the system by developing their version redundancy. We demonstrate this development for FPGA components with LUT-oriented architecture and offer a method to improve the FPGA-ready project by natural version redundancy of its program code. The method generates a set of program code versions and selects versions that improve the checkability of circuits with respect to constant faults and the trustworthiness of results, respectively, in normal and emergency mode to reduce a set of hidden faults. The method is illustrated by an iterative array multiplier implemented in an FPGA project. Versions are generated, evaluated, and selected using the program developed for this.

The paper presents a new technique for the botnets' detection in the corporate area networks. It is based on the usage of the algorithms of the artificial immune systems. Proposed approach is able to distinguish benign network traffic from malicious one using the clonal selection algorithm taking into account the features of the botnet's presence in the network. An approach present the main improvements of the BotGRABBER system. It is able to detect the IRC, HTTP, DNS and P2P botnets. © 2018 IEEE.

A new technique for the DDoS botnet detection based on the botnets network features analysis is proposed. It uses the semi-supervised fuzzy c-means clustering. The proposed approach includes the learning and the detection stages. Analysis is based on the extracted from the network traffic features that may indicate the presence of the DDoS botnets' presence in the network. Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed technique ensures the DDoS botnet detection at the rate at about 95%. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

Epilepsy is a neurological disorder associated with abnormal electrical activity in the brain, which causes seizures. The occurrence of seizure is not predictable; the duration between seizures, as well as the symptoms, varies from patient to another. Since the seizures are not predictable, and most of epileptic patients suffer from physical risky symptoms during the seizure, such patients are not able to perform daily work activities. The objective of this project is to design and implement a monitoring system for epileptic patients; the system should continuously check some vital signs, analyze the measurements, and decide whether the patient is nearly to have a seizure or not. Whenever a seizure is predicted, the system initiates an alarm. In addition, a notification should be sent to the health care responsible, as well as one preferred contact. By implementing the monitoring system, people who suffer from epilepsy will have more chance to work and live a normal life. Thus, this paper presents the concept of the overall system and shows results of the implemented systems: EEG, ECG and Fall Detection system. Results have shown that the fall detection accuracy reached 99.89% whereas the accuracy of the prediction using the ANN was about 97.34%.

Network security has been a major issue long time ago. Confidentiality, integrity and availability of data are the primary concerns of any network administrator. Recently, several attacks have resulted in huge losses of resources and of data availability. For example, in May 2017, medical entities in the United Kingdom have been paralyzed due to WannaCry ransomware world-wide cyber-attack. Thus, the main objective of this paper is to propose a more secured network architecture that will be designed for the case of the PACS - Picture Archiving and Communication system - that is used for storing and transmitting radiography images and reports through the hospital internal network. This paper presents an off-the-shelf solution based on the concept of one-way link data diode and open source softwares to assure safety and security in a cost effective manner. The novelty of this approach is in the design of a data diode that limits the physical connection to two network interfaces, and eliminates the need for a third network connection needed to provide a carrier signal for the transmitter. This system has shown some latency in data transfer but has increased the safety and the security of files transferred between the PACS network and the external network.

An advanced medicine box monitoring, analysis and control system is proposed in this paper. The latter design is based on a smart and safe medical box that assists patients in taking their pills treatment on time. Two main functionalities characterize this system: safety which assures the wellbeing of the patient and the good functioning of the system by duplicating the electrical components and the security that helps keeping the medication out of the reach of the children by automatically looking the medical box whenever the patient takes his pills. This system can also be monitored by the patient parents as it will be linked to a phone application. This application will be used to configure the medical box by calculating the weight of each pill, setting the schedule of medical intake, alarming the user of the number of remaining pills, generating alarms whenever the patient does not take the required number of pills or doesn't take them at all, and so on... This system was implemented and tested by more than 50 patients who were taking several medication types (each one of them takes one medication only) and were using different mobile phone. The overall results were very acceptable with a faulty alarm generation below 3%. © 2018 IEEE.
