With the rapid development of the aviation industry, flight delays have become a global issue, resulting in significant economic losses and passenger dissatisfaction. Accurately determining the causes of flight delays is crucial for airlines, air traffic management, and passengers. This study proposes an Adversarial Defense of the Transductive Support Vector Machine (ad-TSVM) algorithm to address the problem of flight delay causing determination. The ad-TSVM algorithm generates adversarial samples through adversarial training techniques and incorporates these samples into the Transductive Support Vector Machine (TSVM) to improve the model's classification accuracy and robustness. Compared to traditional methods, ad-TSVM can more precisely attribute the responsibility for flight delays to various stakeholders, such as airlines, air traffic control, weather, and air traffic flow, while resisting adversarial attacks. Experimental results demonstrate that the ad-TSVM algorithm significantly outperforms traditional TSVM and other standard machine-learning algorithms regarding classification accuracy on multiple real-world datasets. Additionally, the algorithm exhibits excellent performance in resisting adversarial attacks, effectively enhancing the model's robustness and reliability. This study addresses flight delay cause determination challenges, offering theoretical support for further research and practical applications in related fields. © 2025 SPIE ·

Research on emotional space for movie and TV drama videos

Emotional space refers to a multi-dimensional emotional model that describes a group of subjective feelings or emotions. Since the existing discrete emotional space is mainly aimed at human’s primary emotions, it cannot describe the complex emotions evoked when watching movies. In order to solve this problem, an emotional fusion space for videos was constructed by selecting movies and TV dramas with rich emotional semantics as the research objects. Firstly, emotional words based on movie and TV drama videos are acquired and analyzed by using subjective evaluation and semantic analysis methods. Then, the emotional word vectors obtained from the above analysis are fused, reduced dimension by t-distributed stochastic neighbor embedding(t-SNE) algorithm, and clustered by bisecting K-means clustering algorithm to get a discrete emotional space for movie and TV drama videos. This emotional fusion space can obtain different categories by changing the value of the emotion classification number without re-labeling and calculation.

Power flow(PF)is one of the most important calculations in power *** widely-used PF methods are the Newton-Raphson PF(NRPF)method and the fast-decoupled PF(FDPF)*** smart grids,power generations and loads become intermittent and much more uncertain,and the topology also changes more frequently,which may result in significant state shifts and further make NRPF or FDPF difficult to *** address this problem,we propose a data-driven PF(DDPF)method based on historical/simulated data that includes an offline learning stage and an online computing *** the offline learning stage,a learning model is constructed based on the proposed exact linear regression equations,and then the proposed learning model is solved by the ridge regression(RR)method to suppress the effect of data *** online computing stage,the nonlinear iterative calculation is not *** results demonstrate that the proposed DDPF method has no convergence problem and has much higher calculation efficiency than NRPF or FDPF while ensuring similar calculation accuracy.

To address the problem of illegal information flow in the node chain access control model constructed by the existing attribute-based access control (ABAC) model when applied to a large-scale node chain scenario with more than 100 nodes, an illegal information flow detection method is proposed for the node chain access control model based on the classical Petri net. The method introduces the reachable identity and reachable identity graph of the classical single-Token Petri net, which can analyze the illegal information flow in the ABAC-based node-chain access control model conveniently and visually. Meanwhile, it can effectively use the reachable identity state in the Petri net to detect the illegal information flow in the model. The case analysis shows that the method can effectively detect the illegal information flow appearing in the model. © 2023 ACM.

Current optimization methods for microgrid scheduling face issues such as insufficient precision in energy distribution, high operational costs, and inefficiency. In response to these challenges, an optimization scheduling method for multi-energy microgrids based on the QUBO (Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization) quantum computing model is proposed in this paper, alongside a discretization approach based on a grid partitioning strategy. To validate the feasibility of addressing microgrid optimization scheduling problems in a quantum computing environment, a QUBO model is constructed and simulation studies are conducted in the qbsolv environment provided by D-Wave. The results indicate that operational costs are significantly reduced with an increase in the number of grids, particularly a reduction of 4.52% when the number of grids increases from five to ten. This method not only effectively enhances the precision of electricity supply and energy utilization efficiency but also reduces unnecessary electrical waste and economic costs. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. Palm vein recognition is an emerging biometric recognition technology that has received significant attention in recent years. However, we have discovered that in some challenging scenarios, such as wet or bright hands, the collected palm vein images are seriously reflective, which affects the recognition of palm veins. Rather than proposing a high-complexity suppression algorithm, in this paper, we (WeChat Pay Lab 33) present a palmprint collection system based on infrared polarization imaging for reflection suppression and palm vein imaging enhancement. The system's core concept involves using two polarizers to suppress surface reflections. Specifically, the first polarizer converts the emitted infrared light into linearly polarized light. The second polarizer filters out reflected light that is not in the correct direction. Furthermore, we conduct extensive experiments to explore the effects of the number and angle of polarizers on suppression and verify the effectiveness of this system in multiple scenarios. © 2023 IEEE.

How to get the potential interaction intent is the key to design a personalized intelligent kitchen assistance system based on Human Robot Interaction (HRI), which can facilitate the elder people in their daily life. Eye movement includes abundant user intent information, eye tracking technology can be used to obtain and analyze this information, thus identifying user's potential intent. This paper proposed an eye tracking based object recognition method, which could recognize objects that the user was watching. Firstly, multiple fixation points were clustered into a fixation point that best represented the user's intent by research on the study of the clustering algorithm. Then the object recognition algorithm based on PP-ShiTu platform was used to obtain the specific location of the object in the scene image. Finally, this paper proposed a fixation based object recognition module, and used the module to design and implement a personalized intelligent kitchen assistance system, and verified the effectiveness through experiments. The experimental results showed that when there was only single food recognition, the average recognition accuracy of the personalized intelligent kitchen assistance system reached over 80%, and the average time delay of the system was about 1400 ms. © 2023 The authors and IOS Press.

With the growing popularity of API-driven multiservice application (mashup) development, the burgeoning web APIs have left developers drowning in the sea of web API selections. Matching developers with the most appropriate APIs is the key to improving user satisfaction and promoting more popular web applications. As a result, more and more researchers pay attention to web API recommender systems based on collaborative filtering. However, employing collaborative filtering to recommend APIs is challenging due to the severe sparsity of mashup and API interactions. To address this problem, we propose a probabilistic generative model, called the Binary-API Topic model (BAT), to parameterize mashups and APIs. Technically, BAT is equipped with a mechanism to extract binary-APIs and predict unknown pairwise interactions. To improve generality and capture more relevance from a limited number of interactions, we learn binary-API topics by directly modeling the generation of API co-occurrence patterns across the repository (all mashup collections from ***). The main advantage of BAT is that it preserves API co-occurrence patterns in model learning and exploits the rich global relevance. Finally, through extensive experiments, we demonstrate that BAT can achieve the highest performance on the sparse real-world data set. © 2023 IEEE.
