In recent years, the rapid development of network and E-commerce technologies, promotes the development of human body big data. New technologies, such as 3D scanning and 3D printing will improve our life quality. The new socialized manufacturing network composed of Io T, advanced logistics network and 3D printers. Everyone is allowed to have chance to participate in any process of the whole production manufacturing lifecycle by some ways, such as crowdsourcing. Boosts the creation, production and consumption patterns of individuation, real-time transformation and E-commerce, possibly will lead to a new industrial revolution. In this revolutionary change wave, public concerns focus on the human body big data used for social manufacturing of wearable products or personalized medical treatment. Although many scholars have done a lot of research work, the collection of the human body shape big data still faces many challenges. There is no complete, separated theoretical research works in progress, it should be summarized and improved systematically. In this paper, we review that big data for human body shape is gaining momentum. The 3D scanning and 3D modeling of human body shape are summarized and concluded. The main applications of these big data are analyzed.

In recent years, the Information Technology develops rapidly. With the development of the Information Technology, the social manufacturing, a new mode of manufacturing, has been proposed. The social manufacturing combines the Internet technology, the three-dimensional scanning technology and the virtual reality technology, and is used in the apparel industry and other fashion industries for the mass customization. The three-dimensional scanning technology and the virtual fitting mirror technology are inseparable from the depth camera. Depth cameras play an important role in the social manufacturing. Manufacturers use depth cameras to obtain three-dimensional models of the body of customers to design suitable clothes. Customers can visually see the effect of clothes by using a virtual fitting mirror which is based on the depth camera. The social manufacturing makes mass customization possible, and the depth camera help develop the social manufacturing. This paper introduces the principles of depth cameras, and the application of depth cameras in the social manufacturing.

This paper is concerned with developing a distributed k-means algorithm for the wireless sensor networks (WSN) where each node is equipped with sensors. The underlying topology of the WSN is supposed to be strongly connected. The consensus algorithm in multi-agent consensus theory is utilized to exchange the measurement information of the sensors in WSN. To obtain a faster convergence speed as well as a higher possibility of having the global optimum, a distributed k-means++ algorithm is firstly proposed to find the initial centroids before executing the distributed k-means algorithm. The proposed distributed k-means algorithm is capable of partitioning the data observed by the nodes into measure-dependent groups which have small in-group and large out-group distances. Simulation results show that the proposed distributed algorithms can achieve almost the same results as that achieved by the centralized clustering algorithms.

Software testing, as part of the software quality assurance processes in software engineering (SE), is seldom cited as the most engaging part of a software engineer's training. In spite of its importance, it was often a neglected area, and only recently, with the adoption of more agile methodologies, has testing come to the fore. Testers face challenges, including the need to be able to identify when software is not behaving as expected. Metamorphic Testing (MT) first appeared twenty years ago in an effort to help testers facing the oracle problem (not having a mechanism to determine correct software behavior). Although MT is simple in concept, it has demonstrated very impressive fault-finding ability, and has recently been attracting a great deal of interest. Training students and practitioners to effectively apply MT has become an important goal, but to date, no textbook or guidelines have been made readily available. This paper, written by some of the leading voices in the MT community, is a sharing of some of the experiences, reflections and insights gained through teaching MT (and other related subjects). These experiences indicate that not only is MT effective in industry and at fault-finding, it has the potential to really engage students in creative SE classroom activities.

Hundreds of incubators get birthed worldwide every day, and many new ICT technologies developed continuously, like cloud computing and big data. Therefore, it's possible and necessary to develop a cloud computing platform that gathering a variety of data and resources information needed by thousands of incubators and millions of incubated enterprises. In this paper, after comparing three different countries incubator's management procedure, we mainly talk about the way to design a cloud-based incubator platform including its architecture, main functions, and the interface. We assume that the platform can gather and share a variety of information and resource, like money, human resource, equipment, office place and so on. So the platform is beneficial for the incubated enterprises, incubators, and the government. For example, the platform can provide individual services through big data technology. The platform can analysis the situation of incubators and warn the companies in dangerous condition with the history big data. Finally, this paper describes the use case of cloud-based incubator platform for Guangdong Province.

Fast approximate matching of binary codes with distinctive bits

Although the distance between binary codes can be computed fast in Hamming space, linear search is not practical for large scale datasets. Therefore attention has been paid to the efficiency of performing approximate nearest neighbor search, in which hierarchical clustering trees （HCT） are widely used. However, HCT select cluster centers randomly and build indexes with the entire binary code, this degrades search performance. In this paper, we first propose a new clustering algorithm, which chooses cluster centers on the basis of relative distances and uses a more homogeneous partition of the dataset than HCT has to build the hierarchical clustering trees. Then, we present an algorithm to compress binary codes by extracting distinctive bits according to the standard deviation of each bit. Consequently, a new index is proposed using compressed binary codes based on hierarchical decomposition of binary spaces. Experiments conducted on reference datasets and a dataset of one billion binary codes demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of our method.

A number of approaches have been developed using gene order data to conduct research on both ancestral genomic inference and phylogenetic reconstruction. When investigating species divergence and evolution, gene order data has several inherent advantages that enable researchers to determine a more detailed evolutionary scenario. In this study, we propose a framework to integrate free gene and whole genome duplications with gene additions and losses and rearrangements under probabilistic models to infer the gene order of an ancestor and name it PMAG++. We configured a series of experiments to evaluate the performance of PMAG++ on simulated data and we concluded that it can reconstruct ancestral genome content and orientation with high accuracy and efficiency. This paper reports the results of the SHREC'15 track: 3D Object Retrieval with Multimodal Views, which goal is to evaluate the performance of retrieval algorithms when multimodal views are employed for 3D object representation. In this task, a collection of 505 objects is generated and both the color images and the depth images are provided for each object. 311 objects are selected as the queries and average retrieval performance is measured. The track attracted six participants and the submission of 26 runs, to two tasks. The evaluation results show a promising scenario about multimodal view-based 3D retrieval methods, and reveal interesting insights in dealing with multimodal data. © The Eurographics Association 2015.

In this paper, we survey recent approaches to blue-noise sampling and discuss their beneficial applications. We discuss the sampling algorithms that use points as sampling primitives and classify the sampling algorithms based on various aspects, e.g., the sampling domain and the type of algorithm. We demonstrate several well-known applications that can be improved by recent blue-noise sampling techniques, as well as some new applications such as dynamic sampling and blue-noise remeshing.

The distributed power storage and distributed power generation units are the basic units for storage and distribution in Microgrids. Some electrical topology of distributed storage units are characterized by the use of bidirectional converters that store energy in a battery bank at certain moments and supply this energy to Microgrid bus when necessary. The control of these bidirectional converters must consider the battery protection against voltage surges and transients, when the batteries are charging, so as the protection of the loads connected to the Microgrid bus, when the battery supplies the energy stored. The One-Cycle Control (OCC) technique has been used in the switching converters to allow fast response to transients, no overshoots and zero steady state error. The objective of this work is to use OCC technique in a bidirectional Buck-Boost converter to charge a battery bank when they are discharged, and to supply the battery energy to the loads when necessary, ensuring protection to the battery and to the loads.
