Both of SIP and H.323 are widely used in VoIP. H.323 has wonderful structure. With H.323, it is easy to establish and control a call. SIP is a text based protocol. Although it is simpler than H.323 in structure, its power is as great as H.323. These two protocols offer the same services and functions with different mechanism. So, it is important and significant to achieve their conversion. © 2008 IEEE.

Two multiparty simultaneous quantum identity authentication (MSQIA) protocols based on secret sharing are presented. All the users can be authenticated by a trusted third party (TTP) simultaneously. In the first protocol,the TTP shares a random key K with all the users using quantum secret sharing. The ith share acts as the authentication key of the ith user. When it is necessary to perform MSQIA,the TTP generates a random number R secretly and sends a sequence of single photons encoded with K and R to all the users. According to his share,each user performs the corresponding unitary operations on the single photon sequence sequentially. At last,the TTP can judge whether the impersonator exists. The sec-ond protocol is a modified version with a circular structure. The two protocols can be efficiently used for MSQIA in a network. They are feasible with current technol-ogy.

Design review plays an important role in verifying design standards and ensuring or shortening the design cycle of the project in collaborative process plant CAD. Visualization of 3D process plant models is an essential feature to support design review in distributed design environment. To improve rendering performance, model simplification algorithms, such as levels of detail (LODs) and hierarchical levels of detail (HLODs), can be applied to process plant models. However, it is difficult to use available general model simplification algorithms to support reviewing complex models in process plant CAD. These algorithms always need unbearable time for preprocessing and are not designed to handle process plant models. They do not take the specific requirements of design review into account and may distort design feature and make them unrecognizable to the reviewer. To efficiently transmit models, various compression technologies can be applied to shrink the data size. However, transmitting the geometric model over the network during visualization is still a bottleneck of rendering performance. In this paper, a new, faster model simplification algorithm is proposed to simplify process plant models. Only the geometric parameters and topology information are transmitted. We compute LODs and HLODs according to the model's geometric parameters and design feature. We demonstrate its performance on complex process plant models composed of tens of millions of triangles. Overall, our approach is able to greatly shorten the preprocessing time and achieve considerable speedups in frame rate with little loss in image quality. © 2008 ACM.

CAM is widely used in microprocessors and SOC TLB modules. It gives great advantage for software development. And TLB operations become bottleneck of the microprocessor performance. The test cost of normal BIST approach of the CAM can not be ignored. The paper analyses the fault models of CAM and proposes an instruction suitable march-like algorithm. The algorithm requires 14N+2L operations, where N is the number of words of the CAM and L is the width of a word. The algorithm covers 100% targeted faults. Instruction-level test using the algorithm has not any test cost on area and performance. Moreover the algorithm can be used in BIST approaches and have less performance lost for microprocessors. The paper instances the algorithm in a MIPS compatible microprocessor and have good results. © 2008 IEEE.

Collaborative commerce and design environment is characterized by of its numerous users, massive resources and dynamic change. In order to solve security problems coming from multi-domain, heterogeneity and dynamics, the security architecture for collaborative commerce and design environment was constructed throuth adoptting Internet Protocol Security(IPSec), Secure Socket Layer(SSL), Simple Object Access Protocol Security(SOAPSec). The enabling technologies including IPSec-based Virtual Private Net(VPN), secure e-commence and cooperation framework, digital authentication and encryption of data were discussed in detail. The architecture and the enabling technologies provided the security mechanism amongst the partners to realize business collaboration, design collaboration in network business pattern.

This paper presents how to synthesize efficient Boolean Quantum Circuits (BQC) from Reed-Muller (RM) expansions of Boolean functions. Firstly, the method of Younes et al [A. Younes and J. F. Miller, International Journal of Electronics 91, 431 (2004)] is generalized to synthesize BQC for multiple outputs function. The transformation is straightforward. A technique rearranging the modified Toffoli gates is also presented to eliminate additive NOT gates as most as possible. Secondly, the approach synthesizing BQC without work qubits is proposed which is simple and high-efficient. The necessary conditions for the RM expansions which can be synthesized by the proposed method are derived too.

Distance learning is a learning style that can overcome the limitation of time and space. Because of the distance, teachers can not handle the student's learning situation, and they do not know whether the student is attentive, drowsy or absent. If teachers can know the student's affective state, they can overcome the difficult. The research applies the image recognition technologies to capture the face images of students when they are learning and analyzes their face features to evaluate the student's affective state by Fuzzy Integral. Finally, teachers can monitor the student's behavior by the detection results on the system interface.

In the design process of a reconfigurable accelerator employing in an embedded system, multitude parameters may result in remarkable complexity and a large design space. Design space exploration as an alternative to the quantitative approach can be employed to find a right balance between the different design parameters. In this paper, a hybrid approach is introduced to analytically explore the design space for a coarse grain accelerator and determine a wise design point exploiting data extracted from applications, quantitatively. It also provides flexibility for taking into account new design constraints as well as new characteristics of applications. Furthermore, this approach is a methodological approach which reduces the design time and results in a point which satisfies the design goals. ©2008 IEEE.

Security trust model is an important research topic for the P2P application. This paper firstly analyzes the existing P2P network security trust models, and then puts forward a new P2P recommendation trust model based on the network of social relationships. The model provides different types of services to show the userpsilas interest in different areas, and gives recommendation based on the interested area. Feedback mechanism and punishment mechanism have been used to improve the model. The simulation shows that the model can truly evaluate entity behavior and effectively isolated from malicious nodes.
