The foreign currency exchange rate against the rupiah in the Odoo ERP framework system accommodates multi-currencies. However, Odoo has not updated the rupiah exchange rate based on the value from Bank Indonesia regularly. The exchange rate is the price at which one country's currency can be exchanged for another country's currency. The rupiah exchange rate in business has an influence on the cost revenue as well as the profit of the Indonesian company. The problem is updating the rupiah exchange rate must be done manually by looking at the exchange rate on the Bank Indonesia website and entering it into the ERP system according to the current date. The Rupiah exchange rate in foreign currencies needs to be updated regularly by Bank Indonesia exchange rates. To collect rupiah exchange rate uses the Odoo Framework ERP system using the web scraping methods to extract data from Bank Indonesia exchange rates, the library used in scraping is Beautiful Soup. Beautiful Soup is a Python package for parsing HTML and XML. Is used to extract data from HTML, which is useful for web scraping. Rupiah exchange rate updates will be scheduled by the system every day at 12.30 p.m. GMT+07.

Lightweight Learner for Shared Knowledge Lifelong Learning

In Lifelong Learning (LL), agents continually learn as they encounter new conditions and tasks. Most current LL is limited to a single agent that learns tasks sequentially. Dedicated LL machinery is then deployed to mitigate the forgetting of old tasks as new tasks are learned. This is inherently slow. We propose a new Shared Knowledge Lifelong Learning (SKILL) challenge, which deploys a decentralized population of LL agents that each sequentially learn different tasks, with all agents operating independently and in parallel. After learning their respective tasks, agents share and consolidate their knowledge over a decentralized communication network, so that, in the end, all agents can master all tasks. We present one solution to SKILL which uses Lightweight Lifelong Learning (LLL) agents, where the goal is to facilitate efficient sharing by minimizing the fraction of the agent that is specialized for any given task. Each LLL agent thus consists of a common task-agnostic immutable part, where most parameters are, and individual task-specific modules that contain fewer parameters but are adapted to each task. Agents share their task-specific modules, plus summary information ("task anchors") representing their tasks in the common task-agnostic latent space of all agents. Receiving agents register each received task-specific module using the corresponding anchor. Thus, every agent improves its ability to solve new tasks each time new task-specific modules and anchors are received. If all agents can communicate with all others, eventually all agents become identical and can solve all tasks. On a new, very challenging SKILL-102 dataset with 102 image classification tasks (5,033 classes in total, 2,041,225 training, 243,464 validation, and 243,464 test images), we achieve much higher (and SOTA) accuracy over 8 LL baselines, while also achieving near perfect parallelization. Wireless communication via unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has drawn a great deal of attention due to its flexibility in establishing line-of-sight (LoS) communications. However, in complex urban and dynamic environments, the movement of UAVs can be blocked by trees and high-rise buildings that obstruct directional paths. This problem can be effectively addressed by employing reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS). To achieve this goal, accurate channel estimation in RIS-assisted UAV-enabled wireless communications is crucial. This paper proposes an accurate channel estimation model using long short-term memory (LSTM) for a multi-user RIS-assisted UAV-enabled wireless communications system. Simulation results showed that LSTM can effectively improve the channel estimation performance of RIS-assisted UAV-enabled wireless communications.

The use of robot-based skill training systems is an emerging topic in nursing education, as many innovative robotic systems have been developed to simulate real patients, offering a safe and self-directed platform for nursing students to learn and practice their skills. Among these training systems, several human patient simulators (HPS) have been proposed to simulate the patients performance during patient transfer; however, without an entire motion model and control strategy, most HPS show limited effectiveness in simulating actual patient behavior. Herein, this work presents a novel patient transfer training system that has the potential of improving the practical skills of nursing students. First, we propose a simplified force model for patient transfer motion to estimate the contact force in the absence of wearable sensors. We then reveal the correlation between the nurses force and patients motion during the transfer through the utilization of the variable admittance model. Finally, we demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed patient transfer training system by performing several experiments on a UR10e robot. To the best of our knowledge, this system is the first patient transfer skills training system that simulates force interaction between nurse and patient using a collaborative robot.

State-of-the-art intracortical neuroprostheses currently enable communication at 60+ words per minute for anarthric individuals by training on over 10K sentences to account for phoneme variability in different word contexts. There is limited understanding about whether this performance can be maintained in decoding naturalistic speech with 40K+ word vocabularies across elicited, spontaneous, and conversational speech contexts. We introduce a vocal-unit-level generalization test to explicitly evaluate neural decoder performance with an expanded and more diverse behavioral repertoire. Tested on neural decoders modeling zebra finch vocalization, an analog to human vocal production, we compare three decoders with different input types: spike trains, neural factors, and firing rates. The factors and rates are latent neural features inferred using trained Latent Factor Analysis via Dynamical Systems (LFADS) models that capture the population neural dynamics during vocal production. While the conventional random holdout generalization error measure is similar for all three decoders, factor- and rate-based decoders outperform spike-based decoders when testing vocal-unit-holdout generalization error. These results suggest the later models better adapt to flexible vocalization inference when trained with partial observation of data variation, motivating further exploration of decoders incorporating latent neural and vocalization dynamics. © 2024 IEEE.

In this era of digital world information, farmers face challenges about information management of huge data and the complexity of processes in precision farming. The data collection carried out so far can cause several difficulties, especially if the data is needed by the government or academics to support decision-making. Agricultural data collection applications only cover 12% of the market share of Android-based agriculture-based applications. In this study, Tani Milenial application is present as an alternative to support agricultural data collection activities in Indonesia. This application encourages farmers to be active and contribute independently to their role as subjects of agricultural development and is accustomed to digitally recording their agricultural activities. In this developed application system, the community, especially farmers and farmer groups, will find it easier to get information about agricultural potential data around where they carry out agricultural activities and can access this information online. Tani Milenial works as a guide to help farmers and transform agriculture but still have some gaps which should be checked and removed. The data collected can be used by various parties for research and decision-making. The app can be further improved to develop new features related to education, market information, and goods.

Nernst-Ettingshausen effect in thin Pt and W films at low temperatures

As spin caloritronic measurements become increasingly common techniques for characterizing material properties, it is important to quantify potentially confounding effects. We report measurements of the Nernst-Ettingshausen response from room temperature to 5 K in thin film wires of Pt and W, metals commonly used as inverse spin Hall detectors in spin Seebeck characterization. Johnson-Nyquist noise thermometry is used to assess the temperature change of the metals with heater power at low temperatures, and the thermal path is analyzed via finite-element modeling. The Nernst-Ettingshausen response of W is found to be approximately temperature-independent, while the response of Pt increases at low temperatures. These results are discussed in the context of theoretical expectations and the possible role of magnetic impurities in Pt. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In this research study, we compare the predictive performance of two advanced deep learning-based models in order to provide a solution to TACE (Transarterial Chemoembolization) response prediction in HCC (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) patients. Using entire abdominal CT scans enabled a broader perspective available for the model, eliminating the need for segmentation during the preprocessing. Making use of both single-phase and multi-phase CT imaging, we have used DenseNet121 and have obtained an accuracy of 80% for the multi-phase *** Relevance: The ability to predict the effectiveness of TACE treatment prior to its administration makes it possible to provide a better decision-making aid for physicians and patients.
