The development of game technology has opened up new possibilities in learning methods through educational games. However, in Indonesia, the application of this concept is lacking. One lesson that can benefit from educational games is Indonesian History in class X, with a focus on history in the pre-literacy period. This study aims to create a puzzle-Adventure type of digital game that can help educate students about the pre-literacy period, developed with Unity, and uses WebGL as a target device while referring to Indonesia's revised 2013 national curriculum. The result of this research is the creation of a digital game that can be played on average of 254.36 seconds, with potential for educational use. A survey result shows that many of the ancient objects and some of the ages are well-recognized. However, the survey also shows many of the gameplay aspects, such as UI, gameplay features, and adventure elements, need improvements. © 2020 IEEE.

This paper proposed a method which detects a political buzzer in social media, specifically Instagram. With Indonesia undergoing 2019 presidential election, a detection of buzzers that causes much trouble in maintaining information neutrality is seen as a needed. One of the many reasons is because those buzzers spread false news making the information gained by the use of social media to be not neutral and deliberately offends or attack those that they are not in favor of. Those buzzers share a similar characteristic, tendency, or even possess the same pattern. Grouping, classification, and detection method are used to counter this problem. This research gives a slight overview of what is happening in social media and a theory of how to deal with those problems. The argument is expected to help to identify buzzer in real life, thus helps in maintaining information neutrality along with the social media in Indonesia. © 2019 IEEE.

It is crucial for the community including the government and health workers to collaborate to halt the spread of Covid-19. The idea of developing the mobile application surfaced from the previous findings. Previous researches have implemented and developed different features to better the application. The development of a mobile application to provide a platform that will assist people with information regarding patients that are around the perimeter of users to help notify them. With the help of the notification, users will be able to avoid the chances of them being in contact with the people (ODP), patients that are under surveillance (PDP) confirmed patients. All patients including ODP and PDP are required to have the application therefore, the Minister of Health will be able to track the geolocation of patients. Moreover, people will be able to be aware of patients that are around their perimeter. Therefore, with the help of the application, it will be able to help assist the community for them to be aware of and to be able to avoid being in contact with the infected patients. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Study on the identification and classification of fish is challenging and valuable because of its role in advancing the marine and agricultural fields. This research has benefits interms of monitoring fish populations and ecosystems in a particular area. Furthermore, this research helps monitor fish that are considered threatened or endangered so that it makes iteasier to map prohibited areas for fishing. This research aims to know performance of MobileNetV2 and VGG16 with parameter tuning process by identifying the value of batch size, epoch, learning rate, and optimizer for fish image dataset. The proposed research phase consists of five main stages, including experimental setup, dataset construction, dataset preprocessing, dataset training and modelling and evaluation. As the result, VGG16 obtained the highest accuracy value. For VGG16 without fine-tuning, the testing accuracy is 98.07%. For VGG16 with fine-tuning, the testing accuracy is 96.56%. © 2022 IEEE.

User preference learning has been around for many years. This is a common problem arise in e-commerce system, where the companies need to understand their customers in order to sell the correct products to their target customers. The user preference is also needed in the movie domain area, as the film companies who produce the movie also need to understand how the customers value their movie products, whether the market like it or not. This can help them to predict the best components for the future movie. In order to produce the recommendation to the customer, we can show a list of item in a correct order, sorted from the most relevant/the most liked one to the most irrelevant item. In this paper, we utilize the Learning to Rank (LTR) approach from information retrieval domain area to learn the user preference in recommender system domain. We applied LTR with pairwise approach from the two most popular algorithms in this area, i.e. RankNet and LambdaRank, on 25, 345 user ratings from 5, 000 movie dataset and evaluate both algorithms. We used a Neural Network architecture as the learning mechanism. We also measuring the speed performance of the two algorithms. © 2021 IEEE.

This paper proposes a harmonization between a product quality model and a software process model used in the industry, CERTICS (a national Brazilian model) and CMMI-DEV (an international model). The focus of this harmonization is on the Competence Area of Continuous Improvement of CERTICS, which addresses the key question of whether the software is the result of Continuous Improvement actions originating in the management of personnel, processes and knowledge to support and enhance their development and technological innovation. The results of the harmonization are examined step by step, as well as including a review of the harmonization, and were assisted by an expert on the CERTICS and CMMI-DEV models. Thus, this paper aims to correlate the structures of the two models to reduce the implementation time and costs, and to stimulate the execution of multi-model implementations in software development. © ISCA, CATA 2017.

The elderly population has been increased due better health conditions and quality of life. With a healthier aging, the elderly start to have a more active and participative life in society. They pursue, among other things, to acquire new knowledge and despite being a generation which access to existing technology was restricted, there is an increase in the use of digital technologies, especially in the educational field. However, with advancing age, cognitive and motor skills decrease. Given this scenario, the creation of accessible didactic materials that include the elderly population is necessary. This paper shows a framework to create inclusive digital material for elderly learning. The framework will help teachers to create digital contents that support elderly learners' personalized educational goals. © 2020 AISTI.

This paper presents a harmonization proposal between a product quality model, the CERTICS (a national Brazilian model) and a software process model, CMMI-DEV (an international model) used in the industry. The goal of this harmonization is on the Business Management Competence Area of CERTICS, which focus whether "the software leverages knowledge-based business and it is driven by these business". The results of the harmonization also used the CMMI-SVC model assets and are examined step by step, as well as including a review of the harmonization, and were assisted by an expert on the CERTICS and CMMI-DEV models. Thus, this paper correlates the structures of the two models to reduce the implementation time and costs, and to stimulate the execution of multi-model implementations in software development. Preference Elicitation is now considered a crucial stage in recommender system. That is the stage where we collect and query preferences of the users as part of interactive decision support system. Preference elicitation can be performed using many ways, such as asking the user explicitly to give ratings or feedbacks for some products, or implicitly observing their behaviour. Once this preference has been collected by the system, it can then be used to generate item recommendation. Using explicit feedback itself, such as rating only, has several drawbacks. Using ratings is very subjective. Two users with similar taste might give different rating to the same item. A user also may not be consistent in giving number to express their liking. In other case, a user may like an item more than the other items, but feels difficult to give lower rating on the other item, because it means that the particular item is just as bad as the one he/she does not like. By showing two different items as a pair, it will be easier for the users to pick which one is the best. In this paper, we show the result of our experiment in predicting user pairwise preferences by using their movie ratings data. We evaluated five different machine learning algorithms to predict the data in pairwise preference format. The result shows that K-Nearest Neighbour and Random Forest outperformed the other algorithms. © 2020 IEEE.

This paper proposes a mapping between two product quality and software processes models used in the industry, the CERTICS Brazilian national model and the CMMI-DEV international model. The focus of this mapping is in the Technological Development Competence Area of CERTICS, which directs the response to the key question on whether 'the software is the result of technological development in the country'. The results of mapping are presented step by step, as well as the mapping review, which had the cooperation of one expert in CERTICS and CMMI-DEV models. Thus, this paper aims to correlate the structures of the two models in order to facilitate and reduce the implementation time and costs, and to stimulate the execution of multi-model implementations in software development enterprises. © 2016 IEEE.
