In software development, system integrity is a measure of the impact code changes have on them. It is determined by the team's comprehension. However, rapid evolution of change commits and interaction in complex code bases create problems. By evaluating the effect of reflection changes, this study contributes to the improvement of the comprehension of code, a critical success factor for quality and efficiency. This addresses issues by using semantic analysis, change detection, refactoring detection, and semantic change detection and diffing. Our approach documents the semantic differences between the original and changed source code and gives pragmatic conclusions on how to enhance code quality and maintainability. Specifically, we divide the code into AST files using simple python scripts for semantic analysis and compare them for differences to find implications. It executes the method through the focus on development workflows and major projects as it includes the past information while still simplifying argument parsing and file processing. Based on our study findings, a better understanding of code can help developers to improve their decision-making capacity and protect the performance during the enhancement activity of the program. © 2024 IEEE.

Using gadget getting to know to Justify the cardiovascular sickness prevalence help misdiagnosis. This study makes a model that can predict heart disease to reduce deaths from heart disease. This paper presents a good integration method that can improve the accuracy of the group starting from Huang. Models used include random forest, decision trees classification, multilayer perceptron, and XG gain (XGB). Grid Search CV starts using the limitations of the Super Music Complete version to improve results. The proposed model was based on real-world data of 73,000 cases from Kaggle. The model was trained on 85.68% cutoff data and achieved the following new accuracy: decision tree: 86.34% (with crossover) and 87.58% (without matching), XG gain: 85.87% (with pass validation) and 87, 58% (without cross-validation), random forest: 87.58% (with pass-validation) and 86.34% (without cross-validation), multilayer perceptron: 87.18% (with pass-validation) and 87.92% (without pass verification). © 2024 IEEE.

By the emergence of the fourth industrial revolution,interconnected devices and sensors generate large-scale,dynamic,and inharmonious data in Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)*** vast heterogeneous data increase the challenges of security risks and data analysis *** IIoT grows,cyber-attacks become more diverse and complex,making existing anomaly detection models less effective to *** this paper,an ensemble deep learning model that uses the benefits of the Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)and the AutoEncoder(AE)architecture to identify out-of-norm activities for cyber threat hunting in IIoT is *** this model,the LSTM is applied to create a model on normal time series of data(past and present data)to learn normal data patterns and the important features of data are identified by AE to reduce data *** addition,the imbalanced nature of IIoT datasets has not been considered in most of the previous literature,affecting low accuracy and *** solve this problem,the proposed model extracts new balanced data from the imbalanced datasets,and these new balanced data are fed into the deep LSTM AE anomaly detection *** this paper,the proposed model is evaluated on two real IIoT datasets-Gas Pipeline(GP)and Secure Water Treatment(SWaT)that are imbalanced and consist of long-term and short-term dependency on *** results are compared with conventional machine learning classifiers,Random Forest(RF),Multi-Layer Perceptron(MLP),Decision Tree(DT),and Super Vector Machines(SVM),in which higher performance in terms of accuracy is obtained,99.3%and 99.7%based on GP and SWaT datasets,***,the proposed ensemble model is compared with advanced related models,including Stacked Auto-Encoders(SAE),Naive Bayes(NB),Projective Adaptive Resonance Theory(PART),Convolutional Auto-Encoder(C-AE),and Package Signatures(PS)based LSTM(PS-LSTM)model.

Blockchain technology has gained significant attention for its ability to provide a decentralized and immutable platform for various applications. In this paper, we propose a Blockchain based Decentralized Case Management System using the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) protocol. The decentralized nature of blockchain ensures data integrity and transparency, while IPFS facilitates efficient and decentralized storage of case files. Our system allows for secure and fine-grained access control to case data, ensuring that only authorized users can view and manage cases. We present the architecture of the system, which includes smart contracts deployed on the blockchain to manage case data and access control rules. Additionally, we have discussed the implementation details and use case scenarios to demonstrate the functionality of the proposed system. Performance testing revealed that our system significantly enhances data integrity and transparency. Comparative analysis demonstrated that IPFS, despite having slightly higher latencies than traditional FTP, provides superior security and redundancy. Through our research, we aim to provide a secure, transparent, and efficient solution for managing cases in various domains, including legal, healthcare, and finance. © 2024 IEEE.

Connected automated vehicles(CAVs)serve as a promising enabler for future intelligent transportation systems because of their capabilities in improving traffic efficiency and driving safety,and reducing fuel consumption and vehicle emissions.A fundamental issue in CAVs is platooning control that empowers a convoy of CAVs to be cooperatively maneuvered with desired longitudinal spacings and identical velocities on *** paper addresses the issue of resilient and safe platooning control of CAVs subject to intermittent denial-of-service(DoS)attacks that disrupt vehicle-to-vehicle ***,a heterogeneous and uncertain vehicle longitudinal dynamic model is presented to accommodate a variety of uncertainties,including diverse vehicle masses and engine inertial delays,unknown and nonlinear resistance forces,and a dynamic platoon ***,a resilient and safe distributed longitudinal platooning control law is constructed with an aim to preserve simultaneous individual vehicle stability,attack resilience,platoon safety and ***,a numerically efficient offline design algorithm for determining the desired platoon control law is developed,under which the platoon resilience against DoS attacks can be maximized but the anticipated stability,safety and scalability requirements remain ***,extensive numerical experiments are provided to substantiate the efficacy of the proposed platooning method.

Enhancing pre-trained models for text summarization: a multi-objective genetic algorithm optimization approach

Pre-trained language models have significantly advanced text summarization by leveraging extensive pre-training data to enhance performance. Many cutting-edge models undergo an initial pre-training phase on a large corpus before being fine-tuned specifically for text summarization tasks. The challenge arises when the limited data available for these summarization tasks and the high complexity of the models lead to aggressive fine-tuning, which can cause the models to over fit the training data and fail to generalize well to new, unseen data. To address these challenges, the study proposes a multi-objective based Genetic Algorithm (MOGA) approach for optimizing pre-trained models for summarization The proposed approach first compares the performance of various pre-trained models by fine-tuning them with the CNN/Daily Mail dataset. Secondly, the proposed Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm (MOGA) is applied to all validated pre-trained models and compared using a statistical approach. Experimental results reveal that Pre-training with Extracted Gap-sentences for Abstractive Summarization Sequence-to-sequence (PEGASUS) model performs best among the pre-trained models. Further optimization with the proposed MOGA method yields even better results, with the optimized model achieving a Recall-Oriented Understudy for Gisting Evaluation) ROUGE-1 score of 0.514, a ROUGE-2 score of 0.4, and a ROUGE-L score of 0.5. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Real-time updating of dynamic social networks for COVID-19 vaccination strategies

Vaccination strategy is crucial in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the supply is still limited in many countries, contact network-based interventions can be most powerful to set an efficient strategy by identifying high-risk individuals or communities. However, due to the high dimension, only partial and noisy network information can be available in practice, especially for dynamic systems where contact networks are highly time-variant. Furthermore, the numerous mutations of SARS-CoV-2 have a significant impact on the infectious probability, requiring real-time network updating algorithms. In this study, we propose a sequential network updating approach based on data assimilation techniques to combine different sources of temporal information. We then prioritise the individuals with high-degree or high-centrality, obtained from assimilated networks, for vaccination. The assimilation-based approach is compared with the standard method (based on partially observed networks) and a random selection strategy in terms of vaccination effectiveness in a SIR model. The numerical comparison is first carried out using real-world face-to-face dynamic networks collected in a high school, followed by sequential multi-layer networks generated relying on the Barabasi-Albert model emulating large-scale social networks with several communities. © The Author(s) 2023.

One dangerous side effect of diabetes that affects the eyes is called diabetic retinopathy. It happens as a result of alterations in the retina’s blood vessels, which can cause harm and even blindness. The development of red lesions in the retina is one typical sign of diabetic retinopathy. These red lesions may be a sign of microaneurysms or hemorrhages, which are important characteristics to identify and track as diabetic retinopathy progresses. This process becomes even more demanding in the early stages of the disease where symptoms are less pronounced in the images. Leveraging machine-based learning for medical image analysis, especially deep learning algorithms, has demonstrated its capability to enhance the early diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy, providing a more efficient and effective alternative to traditional manual assessments. The proposed work aims to improve the efficiency of early detection of diabetic retinopathy by utilizing Deep Learning (16-layer CNN) to determine a person’s likelihood of having diabetic retinopathy using a 02-Class model that compiles a variety of datasets, specifically IDRiD dataset. The entire dataset contains 18,590 fundus photographs, in which 3662 are allocated for training, 1928 for validation, and 13,000 for testing. All datasets had a similar distribution of output classes, which is a fundamental property of this type of data. Using the IDRiD dataset, the suggested Red Lesion detection system’s specificity and sensitivity were found to be 98% and 89%, respectively, with an accuracy of 95.32%. Using the MESSIDOR dataset, the Diabetic Retinopathy Severity Classification System’s specificity, sensitivity, and accuracy were found to be 93.8, 92.3, and 94%, respectively. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
