The Internet of Things (loT) is a new technology trend that is being used in almost every area of human life. IoT is used almost every aspect of people's lives. Significantly, with a projected increase in the world's population to 9.7 billion by 2050, agricultural output would need to increase at an even more rapid rate to fulfill the requirement. Modern tools, notably the Internet of Things, make this a reality. The IoT makes it possible for farms to function without human labor. It has several potential applications in agriculture, including large- scale farming, greenhouse farming and management. The sensors serve as the most crucial component of the loT. Sensing devices are mostly used for the purpose of learning about the soil and its surroundings. The sensor has several applications in agriculture, including but not limited to NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) measurement, disease detection, and soil moisture analysis. This study discusses how IoT applications contribute to efficient farming practices. It shows how the IoT can be applied to agriculture and exhibits the many sensors, applications, problems, strengths, and shortcomings that underpin this field. © 2024 IEEE.

The increasing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into critical sectors such as autonomous vehicles, healthcare, finance, and cybersecurity makes these systems prime targets for cyberattacks. AI systems, especially those based on machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL), exhibit vulnerabilities due to their reliance on large datasets, complex algorithms, and "black-box"decision-making processes. This paper explores the weaknesses of AI systems, focusing on adversarial attacks, data poisoning, model inversion, and evasion attacks. Specific examples include how adversarial inputs can mislead self-driving cars or cause diagnostic errors in healthcare systems. Defense mechanisms like adversarial training, defensive distillation, feature squeezing, model assembling, and gradient masking are discussed as methods to protect AI systems. However, these defenses face limitations, such as high computational costs and susceptibility to advanced attacks. The study concludes by emphasizing the need for ongoing research into strengthening AI defenses, securing private data, and balancing performance with robust cybersecurity. Ensuring AI security is crucial as cyber threats continue to evolve in complexity and scope. © 2023 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

Electroencephalography (EEG) provides critical insights into brain function and neurological disorders. However, analyzing and classifying EEG signals remains challenging. Manual review is time-consuming, prone to bias, and lacks scalability. Hence, developing automated EEG classification has become vital for clinical assessment and treatment of epilepsy. This study presents a machine learning framework for classifying normal and epileptic EEG recordings. The approach involves feature extraction using discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and statistical methods, feature selection to identify the most discriminative attributes, followed by classification across multiple algorithms. Specifically, DWT decomposes non-stationary signals for time-frequency representation. Principal component analysis and cosine similarity assist in selecting robust features. Supervised classifiers including naive Bayes, decision trees, neural networks, k-nearest neighbors, random forest, and support vector machines categorize the signals. Results demonstrate 100% accuracy with neural networks, indicating highly reliable automated classification is achievable. By comparing multiple techniques, the optimal machine learning pipeline emerges. This epilepsy EEG classification framework demonstrates the potential for AI to significantly improve screening, diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurological disorders. Ongoing research aims to further enhance efficiency, scalability, and real-time capabilities. © 2024 IEEE.

AI-based Disease Prediction and Online Consultation System aims to redesign the way people experience healthcare. The deep growth of machine learning opened doors for new opportunities, such as this system that carefully inputs and validates patients' symptoms, and subsequently predicts possible diseases. In addition, it fosters remote consultation in a user-friendly manner over the internet and erases the barriers of distance and mobility. It is expected that this combination of data-driven forecasting and logic will enhance the treatment accuracy in terms of increased availability of healthcare services. AI-based Disease Prediction and Online Consultation System is a practical showcase on how to transform equity in healthcare. The increasing change in technology can give us possibilities for the utmost usage of this system. In this regard, the complex predictive analytics associated with the system may in effect change how HEIs (health education institutions) practice healthcare management. Patients will be offered a practice which supports the idea of delivering the right information on time and stress the universal right of access to healthcare. Its transformational power has far more prospects than it seems at first. At the core it sets the landscape and, indeed, the stage for the most equal, efficient and inclusive healthcare ecosystem that could ever exist.

In order to meet the pressing demand for early diagnosis in healthcare, we proposed a unique hybrid architecture in this study that is intended for the categorization of gastrointestinal (GI) illnesses. With fewer trainable parameters, faster training times, and less storage needed for model weights, our suggested architecture prioritizes efficiency achieves an impressive 94% accuracy. To effectively diagnose GI disorders, this design combines convolutional neural networks (CNNs) with Transformers. The creation of this hybrid architecture, which boasts excellent accuracy in illness categorization, decreased storage requirements, and efficiency in training, is one of the research's accomplishments. Our proposed model demonstrates its flexibility for many uses, encouraging simple implementation and expandability. Extensive tests performed on a large dataset of endoscopic images highlight our hybrid architecture's better performance over current techniques. With this study, diagnostics for gastrointestinal diseases have advanced significantly, opening the door to future diagnostic systems that will be more precise and effective. The proposed architecture has outperformed the traditional pre-trained models both in classification accuracy and time to train the model with no weights.

Federated learning is becoming a practical solution for machine learning (ML) in industry. This is due to the possibility of implementing artificial intelligence (AI) systems and training its models on private data sets. However, this is not an ideal solution as it is possible to manipulate or even intercept the model during its transmission between the server and workers. In this paper, we propose a solution to ensure the security of the model transmitted between units in FL. The given model is encrypted with AES, DES, RSA algorithms, then a checksum is determined. This checksum with a private key is stored as a transaction on a blockchain. In the case of sending the model and its modification, the recipient can easily verify whether it is correct. The proposed solution has been described, tested, and compared to indicate its advantages and disadvantages. Conducted experiments were based on analyzing the communication time between participants, the accuracy of machine learning models, and attack detection. In terms of attack detection on the blockchain, we reached 81% thanks to the checksum mechanism. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.

Quantum technologies are moving towards enabling real world uses and as these technologies develop. The most important thing that differs Quantum from classical computers is that Quantum Computers can do “multiple” tasks at the same time as opposed to the classical computers doing a single task at a time. This phenomenon has led to the discovery of a few algorithms that are faster than regular computers. One such algorithm is the Grover’s Algorithm[l]. This algorithm has shown a few real-world applications such as Quantum Search Algorithm, Travelling salesman, etc[2]. In this paper, Grover’s algorithm is introduced, and a 2 x 2 Sudoku example is solved using Intel Quantum Software Development Kit[3]. The Intel Quantum SDK is quite new and in this paper we show how a simple Grover’s Problem can be implemented in the SDK. Sudoku is a popular number-based puzzle game played on a grid consisting of nine squares subdivided into smaller 3x3 grids. The objective is to fill the grid with numbers from 1 to 9, ensuring that each row, column, and 3x3 grid contains all numbers exactly once.
