Memetics, as a social media phenomenon, are a self-evident part of the rise and rise of social media through electrifying technologies. They are intricate to classify using traditional forms of technologies because they are mainly based on both visual and textual information and more often than not they are also funny or sarcastic. The work puts forward a deep learning-based solution for meme categorization that can be classified into multiple categories. The include girl, tame, politics, hard. It emphasizes the want for an automated system that can vet memes before they become the cause of controversy or become humorous. This investigation offers the three-step procedure to locate racism and abusive memes. Before the text is labeled as racist or not, it will be extracted from the supplied image first. Once the language has been pinpointed as unacceptable, the third step is to distribute the information to the specific groups: racist and abusive are: unoffensive, nonrelevant. We present a deep learning-based method for classifying memes that can be categorized into different themes. After the graphical theft of personal information for the marketing of products through social media meme posting, society had to confront the issue of these instance being posted on the social media platform. Racist and abusive memes can cause emotional harm to people and even divide communities since they are mainly genocidal or ridiculing. The constraint of the language complexity and the variety of artistic references used in memes leave some of them generally feting and removing racist and vituperative memes. We introduce a deep literacy- attained asseveration to classify wicked memes using CNNs, Roberta, as well as BERT. When we had the inflamed dataset of and thenon-racist and vituperative memes, we machined the models. Increasing global energy consumption has become an urgent problem as natural energy sources such as oil,gas,and uranium are rapidly running *** into renewable energy sources such as solar energy is being pursued to counter *** energy is one of the most promising renewable energy sources,as it has the potential to meet the world’s energy needs *** study aims to develop and evaluate artificial intelligence(AI)models for predicting hourly global *** hyperparameters were optimized using the Broyden-FletcherGoldfarb-Shanno(BFGS)quasi-Newton training algorithm and STATISTICA *** from two stations in Algeria with different climatic zones were used to develop the *** error measurements were used to determine the accuracy of the prediction models,including the correlation coefficient,the mean absolute error,and the root mean square error(RMSE).The optimal support vector machine(SVM)model showed exceptional efficiency during the training phase,with a high correlation coefficient(R=0.99)and a low mean absolute error(MAE=26.5741 Wh/m^(2)),as well as an RMSE of 38.7045 Wh/m^(2) across all ***,this study highlights the importance of accurate prediction models in the renewable energy,which can contribute to better energy management and planning.

This paper proposes a modified version of the Dwarf Mongoose Optimization Algorithm (IDMO) for constrained engineering design problems. This optimization technique modifies the base algorithm (DMO) in three simple but effective ways. First, the alpha selection in IDMO differs from the DMO, where evaluating the probability value of each fitness is just a computational overhead and contributes nothing to the quality of the alpha or other group members. The fittest dwarf mongoose is selected as the alpha, and a new operator ω is introduced, which controls the alpha movement, thereby enhancing the exploration ability and exploitability of the IDMO. Second, the scout group movements are modified by randomization to introduce diversity in the search process and explore unvisited areas. Finally, the babysitter's exchange criterium is modified such that once the criterium is met, the babysitters that are exchanged interact with the dwarf mongoose exchanging them to gain information about food sources and sleeping mounds, which could result in better-fitted mongooses instead of initializing them afresh as done in DMO, then the counter is reset to zero. The proposed IDMO was used to solve the classical and CEC 2020 benchmark functions and 12 continuous/discrete engineering optimization problems. The performance of the IDMO, using different performance metrics and statistical analysis, is compared with the DMO and eight other existing algorithms. In most cases, the results show that solutions achieved by the IDMO are better than those obtained by the existing algorithms.

The paper addresses the research question of whether the electromagnetic time reversal (EMTR) technique can be used to estimate the propagation speed of a signal on power cables. This value changes in the long term due to ageing of the cable insulation and in the short term due to the cable temperature variation. A first numerical investigation of the EMTR effectiveness in estimating the propagation speed in a simple cable system is described showing that EMTR is a promising technique to be used also for the monitoring of power cable temperature. Future research will be directed to implementation of the methodology in more complex networks. © 2024 The Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers (KIEE).

Vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs)provide intelligent navigation and efficient route management,resulting in time savings and cost reductions in the transportation ***,the exchange of beacons and messages over public channels among vehicles and roadside units renders these networks vulnerable to numerous attacks and privacy *** address these challenges,several privacy and security preservation protocols based on blockchain and public key cryptography have been proposed ***,most of these schemes are limited by a long execution time and massive communication costs,which make them inefficient for on-board units(OBUs).Additionally,some of them are still susceptible to many *** such,this study presents a novel protocol based on the fusion of elliptic curve cryptography(ECC)and bilinear pairing(BP)*** formal security analysis is accomplished using the Burrows–Abadi–Needham(BAN)logic,demonstrating that our scheme is verifiably *** proposed scheme’s informal security assessment also shows that it provides salient security features,such as non-repudiation,anonymity,and ***,the scheme is shown to be resilient against attacks,such as packet replays,forgeries,message falsifications,and *** the performance perspective,this protocol yields a 37.88%reduction in communication overheads and a 44.44%improvement in the supported security ***,the proposed scheme can be deployed in VANETs to provide robust security at low overheads.

Text Summarization is an essential area in text mining,which has procedures for text *** natural language processing,text summarization maps the documents to a representative set of descriptive ***,the objective of text extraction is to attain reduced expressive contents from the text *** summarization has two main areas such as abstractive,and extractive *** text summarization has further two approaches,in which the first approach applies the sentence score algorithm,and the second approach follows the word embedding *** such text extractions have limitations in providing the basic theme of the underlying *** this paper,we have employed text summarization by TF-IDF with PageRank keywords,sentence score algorithm,and Word2Vec word *** study compared these forms of the text summarizations with the actual text,by calculating cosine ***,TF-IDF based PageRank keywords are extracted from the other two extractive *** intersection over these three types of TD-IDF keywords to generate the more representative set of keywords for each text document is *** technique generates variable-length keywords as per document diversity instead of selecting fixedlength keywords for each *** form of abstractive summarization improves metadata similarity to the original text compared to all other forms of summarized *** also solves the issue of deciding the number of representative keywords for a specific text *** evaluate the technique,the study used a sample of more than eighteen hundred text *** abstractive summarization follows the principles of deep learning to create uniform similarity of extracted words with actual text and all other forms of text *** proposed technique provides a stable measure of similarity as compared to existing forms of text summarization.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia, characterized by progressive neurodegeneration. Structural changes in the brain associated with AD can be visualized using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). However, acquiring a sufficient number of MRI images from patients with Alzheimer's disease is challenging. In this study, we employ stable diffusion to simulate MRI scans of patients with AD. We train the stable diffusion model from scratch to generate new MRI images as part of data augmentation alongside the original images. The model is capable of producing synthetic MRI images of AD. We employ t-distributed Stochastic Neighbor Embedding (t-SNE) visualization to evaluate the quality and diversity of the generated images by comparing their distribution to that of actual MRI scans. Subsequently, a modified YOLOv8-cls model is retrained using the generated images for AD classification. Our findings demonstrate that this approach effectively produces realistic synthetic biological images suitable for training deep learning models with 10% improvement in accuracy.

Older people with visual impairment are more prone to feeling lonely than their seeing peers. Research suggests that learning to use smartphones can improve psychological well-being in older adults. We seek to further explore and find solutions to three barriers for increased use and mastery of smartphones by older people with visual impairment, namely how to a) reach and motivate this group to learn to use a smartphone;b) improve the provision of training for this group, and c) organize support after training to increase the possibility for continued use. Data is collected through interviews and meetings with various stakeholders on a national and local level in Norway. Based on the results we provide some recommendations for future work to lower the barriers and to improve inclusion of older people with visual impairment into the information society. © 2021 The authors and IOS Press.

This paper discusses the methods for performance analysis of a PC-based harmonic power analyzer used in EMC testing and measuring applications. According to IEC 61000-3-2, this is an easy-to-use, reasonably priced way to assess how well a harmonics emission measurement system is performing in real time. There is no mention of any alternative approach or calibration method to verify the performance analysis in the IEC 61000-3-2 standard. Different vendor equipment is used to create a single harmonic emission monitoring setup. Thus, getting calibrating services is a highly difficult task that also requires a significant financial investment. Using this straightforward, low-cost analysis technique, it is possible to monitor the operation of the measurement setup locally and address all of these problems. Overall, the paper provides a comprehensive overview of the new approach to performance analysis of a PC-based harmonics power analyzer for EMC test and measurement applications, emphasizing the importance of a simple, cost-effective, and reliable method for maintaining measurement system performance.

As cities grow, handling traffic in big urban are-as becomes a huge proble-m. More cars on the road and not enough roads le-ad to heavy traffic jams. This increases trave-l time and harms our environment. Our study tackle-s these problems with a ne-w approach. We use real-time- lane detection with YOLOv8 and adaptable- traffic lights. Using sharp computer vision, our system pinpoints vehicle-s. It adjusts traffic light timings on-the-go to improve traffic flow. Our model works e-xtremely accurately. During the- learning phase, it achieve-d a mAP50 score of 99.3% and a mAP50-95 score of 87.4%. In the te-sting phase, it got a mAP score of 99.2% and a mAP50-95 score of 86.2%. The re-sults highlight how the system can improve city trave-l. It’s valuable for city planners and traffic officials. It helps the-m understand smart transportation systems bette-r.
