The prediction of stochastic dynamical systems and the capture of dynamical behaviors are profound problems. In this article, we propose a data-driven framework combining Reservoir computing and Normalizing Flow to study this issue, which mimics error modeling to improve traditional Reservoir computing performance and integrates the virtues of both approaches. With few assumptions about the underlying stochastic dynamical systems, this model-free method successfully predicts the long-term evolution of stochastic dynamical systems and replicates dynamical behaviors. We verify the effectiveness of the proposed framework in several experiments, including the stochastic Van der Pal oscillator, El Niño-Southern Oscillation simplified model, and stochastic Lorenz system. These experiments consist of Markov/non-Markov and stationary/non-stationary stochastic processes which are defined by linear/nonlinear stochastic differential equations or stochastic delay differential equations. Additionally, we explore the noise-induced tipping phenomenon, relaxation oscillation, stochastic mixed-mode oscillation, and replication of the strange attractor. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. The first-principles calculations demonstrate that covalently bonded(cb)heterojunction and van der Waals(vd W)heterojunction can coexist in silicene/CeO_(2) heterojunctions,due to the different stacking ***,the cb heterojunction with band gap of 1.97 e V,forms a type-II heterojunction,exhibits good redox performance and has high-effective optical absorption spectra,thus it is a promising photocatalyst for overall water ***,for the vd W heterojunction,the Dirac cone of silicene is well kept on CeO_(2) semiconducting substrate,with a considerable energy gap of 0.43 e V,which can be an ideal material in building silicene-based electronic *** results may open a new gateway in both of nanoelectronic device and energy conversion for silicene/Ce O2 nanocomposites.

The Exploration of Neural Collapse under Imbalanced Data

Neural collapse, a newly identified characteristic, describes a property of solutions during model training. In this paper, we explore neural collapse in the context of imbalanced data. We consider the L-extended unconstrained feature model with a bias term and provide a theoretical analysis of global minimizer. Our findings include: (1) Features within the same class converge to their class mean, similar to both the balanced case and the imbalanced case without bias. (2) The geometric structure is mainly on the left orthonormal transformation of the product of L linear classifiers and the right transformation of the class-mean matrix. (3) Some rows of the left orthonormal transformation of the product of L linear classifiers collapse to zeros and others are orthogonal, which relies on the singular values of Ŷ = (IK − 1/Nn1TK)D, where K is class size, n is the vector of sample size for each class, D is the diagonal matrix whose diagonal entries are given by √n. Similar results are for the columns of the right orthonormal transformation of the product of class-mean matrix and D. (4) The i-th row of the left orthonormal transformation of the product of L linear classifiers aligns with the i-th column of the right orthonormal transformation of the product of class-mean matrix and D. Differential privacy offers a promising solution to balance data utility and user privacy. This paper compares two prominent differential privacy tools-PyDP and IBM's diffprivlib-that are applied to a synthetic dataset with medical attributes. We evaluate these tools based on their effectiveness in maintaining data privacy while preserving the statistical integrity of the data. Our results reveal that PyDP provides synthetic data that closely matches real-world data, making it appropriate for tasks requiring accuracy while striking a better balance between data utility and privacy. However, IBM's diffprivlib is more suitable for privacy-critical applications due to its stronger privacy guarantees, but at the cost of increased noise and decreased data utility. This paper contributes to the practical understanding of implementing differential privacy in machine learning and software applications and enhances the tools available for developers in sensitive data environments. © 2025 IEEE.

We present GauKGT5, a sequence-to-sequence model proposed for knowledge graph completion (KGC). Our research extends the KGT5 model, a recent sequence-to-sequence link prediction (LP) model. GauKGT5 takes advantage of textual characteristics inherent in the knowledge graph, exhibiting a small model size. However, KGT5's proficiency in link prediction necessitates the ensemble with a knowledge graph embedding model, which itself poses challenges due to its substantial size and expense. By integrating the Gated Attention Unit into the KGT5 model and directly applying it to the encoder-decoder structure, we achieve improved contextual dependency capturing within the sequence, resulting in enhanced prediction accuracy, accelerated training speed, and enhanced computational efficiency. At the same time, we introduce parallel computing as a means to enhance the efficiency of model training and inference within the XPU distributed computing environment. © 2023 IEEE.

Due to the possibilities provided by such technologies to provide people with live immersive virtual worlds, Extended Reality (XR) technologies such as virtual (VR), augmented (AR), and mixed reality (MR) have grown. The role of XR has a highly effective and efficient technology in virtual laboratories (VL) as experiments can be performed almost anywhere. During the laboratory activities, students are facing the issue of dealing with dangerous equipment such as Semiconductor fabrication furnace, which has a high temperature. In recent years, modern sensors such as Leap Motion Controller can track human movements and analyses the accuracy. This work presents a novelty approach of design training that can tracks body movements. Moreover, it provides warring alerts to trainer when it comes closer to dangerous places. While she/he is making wrong hand/body movement. When user do the experiment a semiconductor furnace training is operation in a VL. To illustrate more, this training enables the trainee to prevent his/her burning during the experiment according to safety and social distancing standards as well. Thus, Unity 3D has the capability to measure the following: accuracy, quality and efficiency of the system. XR training is significantly considering as safe technology to avoid user’s accidents. HCI, which stands for "human–computer interaction," has been increasingly concerned with natural interaction methods in recent years. Various ways we interact with computers have benefited from the development of real-time hand gesture recognition programs. The detection of hand motions calls for the use of a camera. The primary form of participation is the employment of a web camera as a virtual human–computer interaction device. In this body of work, we look into how vision-based HCI methods of the present day make use of hand gestures. In the event that consumers are unable to utilise any input device or touch it, this project becomes incredibly useful. Gesture recognition makes it possible to complete an activity without physically accessing the usual input devices (mouse, keyboard, etc.). The user may doodle with his index finger and use his index and middle fingers together to control the pointer's movement on the screen. The user may erase their artwork using the tips of their index, middle, and ring fingers. In recent years, support vector machine has become one of the most important classification techniques in pattern recognition, machine learning, and data mining due to its superior classification effect and solid theoretical base. However, its training time will increase dramatically as the number of samples increases, and training will become more sophisticated when dealing with problems involving multiple classifications. A quick training data reduction approach MOIS appropriate for multi-classification tasks is presented as a solution for the aforementioned issues. While eliminating redundant training samples, the boundary samples that play a vital role are chosen in order to considerably reduce training data and the problem of unequal distribution between categories. The experimental results demonstrate that MOIS may maintain or even improve the classification performance of support vector machines while substantially enhancing training efficiency. On the Opt digit dataset, the suggested method improves classification accuracy from 98.94% to 99.05%, while training time is reduced to 15% of the original;in HCL2000, the proposed method improves classification accuracy from 98.94% to 99.05%. When the accuracy rate is marginally increased (from 99.29% to 99.30%) on the first 100 categories dataset, the training time is dramatically reduced to less than 6% of the original. MSC Codes 68T07, 92B20, 92B05During the COVID-19 crisis, mechanistic models have been proven fundamental to guide evidence-based decision making. However, time-critical decisions in a dynamically changing environment restrict the time available for modelers to gather supporting evidence. As infectious disease dynamics are often heterogeneous on a spatial or demographic scale, models should be resolved accordingly. In addition, with a large number of potential interventions, all scenarios can barely be computed on time, even when using supercomputing facilities. We suggest to combine complex mechanistic models with data-driven surrogate models to allow for on-the-fly model adaptations by public health experts. We build upon a spatially and demographically resolved infectious disease model and train a graph neural network for data sets representing early phases of the pandemic;cf Fig. 3. The resulting networks reached an execution time of less than a second, a significant speedup compared to the metapopulation approach. The suggested approach yields potential for on-the-fly execution and, thus, integration of disease dynamics models in low-barrier website applications. A large number of medical professionals depended on manual methods to assess the features of heart sounds. Because of the hands-on nature of this method, it was necessary for them to generate waveforms representing heart sounds and then carefully analyses the various components of these sounds. In contrast, the findings of our most recent research provide an improved methodology that automates the process of separating heart sound data and extracting the relevant factors from those signals. This update is very helpful for applications of machine learning in thoracentesis, and it aligns well with the developments of the most recent clinical imaging technologies. A novel "accordion" approach is presented in our methodology, which we have dubbed PASCAL. This method not only makes use of reference data that is determined by sudden shifts, but it also incorporates an improved classification model that has been customised for the highest possible level of precision. This is particularly clear when looking at the Dataset that We Have for Characterising Heart Rate. It is of the utmost importance to emphasise the fact that the performance as well as the false positive (Fp) rates of our classification phase were thoroughly evaluated. While this was going on, we looked at how the features of the ECG signal changed over time. The findings of our investigation are really positive. A fantastic F1-score of 94.38% and a respectable accuracy rate of 93.52% were reached by our suggested technique for identifying and classifying the capabilities of a healthy cardiopulmonary system. The primary sound (S1 duration), the subsequent sound (S2 duration), the overall cardiac cycle, the duration of ventricular systole, the time taken for ventricular contraction, and the ratio between the systolic and diastolic phases were some of the aspects of heart sounds that we examined in great detail.
