SOME/IP is a communication protocol introduced in automotive industry to enable Service Oriented Architecture which is not possible using traditional automotive protocols such as CAN or FlexRay. A trend emerging in the last years in the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is that SOME/IP became one of main communication protocols used for communication between safety and performance ECU devices. Currently in the market, including the open-source solutions, there is a set of different SOME/IP implementations that have different audience and combination of characteristics like high royalty costs, available feature set and software solution maturity. This paper presents the Bitroute SOME/IP, a new implementation of the SOME/IP communication protocol with focus on performance and deployment platform independency and compares it with the open-source solution from The Connected Vehicle Systems Alliance (COVESA).

Abnormal high blood pressure or hypertension is still the leading risk factor for death and disability *** paper presents a new intelligent networked control of medical drug infusion system to regulate the mean arterial blood pressure for hypertensive patients with different health status *** infusion of vasoactive drugs to patients endures various issues,such as variation of sensitivity and noise,which require effective and powerful systems to ensure robustness and good *** developed intelligent networked system is composed of a hybrid control scheme of interval type-2 fuzzy(IT2F)logic and teaching-learning-based optimization(TLBO)*** networked IT2F control is capable of managing the uncertain sensitivity of the patient to anti-hypertensive drugs *** avoid the manual selection of control parameter values,the TLBO algorithm is mainly used to automatically find the best parameter values of the networked IT2F *** simulation results showed that the optimized networked IT2F achieved a good performance under external disturbances.A comparative study has also been conducted to emphasize the outperformance of the developed controller against traditional PID and type-1 fuzzy ***,the comparative evaluation demonstrated that the performance of the developed networked IT2F controller is superior to other control strategies in previous studies to handle unknown patients’sensitivity to infused vasoactive drugs in a noisy environment.

In terms of security and privacy,mobile ad-hoc network(MANET)continues to be in demand for additional debate and *** more MANET applications become data-oriented,implementing a secure and reliable data transfer protocol becomes a major concern in the ***,MANET’s lack of infrastructure,unpredictable topology,and restricted resources,as well as the lack of a previously permitted trust relationship among connected nodes,contribute to the attack detection burden.A novel detection approach is presented in this paper to classify passive and active black-hole *** proposed approach is based on the dipper throated optimization(DTO)algorithm,which presents a plausible path out of multiple paths for statistics transmission to boost MANETs’quality of service.A group of selected packet features will then be weighed by the DTO-based multi-layer perceptron(DTO-MLP),and these features are collected from nodes using the Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchical(LEACH)clustering *** is a powerful classifier and the DTO weight optimization method has a significant impact on improving the classification process by strengthening the weights of key features while suppressing the weights ofminor *** hybridmethod is primarily designed to combat active black-hole *** the LEACH clustering phase,however,can also detect passive black-hole *** effect of mobility variation on detection error and routing overhead is explored and evaluated using the suggested *** diverse mobility situations,the results demonstrate up to 97%detection accuracy and faster execution ***,the suggested approach uses an adjustable threshold value to make a correct conclusion regarding whether a node is malicious or benign.

A Simple Discretization Scheme for Gain Matrix Conditioning

In industrial model predictive controllers (MPCs), models generated from regression-based system identification methods typically contain small or even physically non-existent degrees of freedom. control issues can arise when the steady-state optimizer uses these small degrees of freedom to calculate targets for plant operation due to matrix ill-conditioning. Mathematical techniques like Relative Gain Array (RGA) and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) are helpful for analyzing controller gain interactions and identifying conditioning issues, which can be corrected relatively easily in small models. However, these techniques are difficult and tedious to apply for larger, more complex models. This paper describes a novel, non-iterative, RGA-based, binning technique for discretizing the gain matrix and quickly solving 2×2 conditioning issues for any model size, while guaranteeing gain adjustments below a certain threshold. The Impact of Recommendation Systems on Opinion Dynamics: Microscopic versus Macroscopic Effects

Recommendation systems are widely used in web services, such as social networks and e-commerce platforms, to serve personalized content to the users and, thus, enhance their experience. While personalization assists users in navigating through the available options, there have been growing concerns regarding its repercussions on the users and their opinions. Examples of negative impacts include the emergence of filter bubbles and the amplification of users’ confirmation bias, which can cause opinion polarization and radicalization. In this paper, we study the impact of recommendation systems on users, both from a microscopic (i.e., at the level of individual users) and a macroscopic (i.e., at the level of a homogenous population) perspective. Specifically, we build on recent work on the interactions between opinion dynamics and recommendation systems to propose a model for this closed loop, which we then study both analytically and numerically. Among others, our analysis reveals that shifts in the opinions of individual users do not always align with shifts in the opinion distribution of the population. In particular, even in settings where the opinion distribution appears unaltered (e.g., measured via surveys across the population), the opinion of individual users might be significantly distorted by the recommendation system. © 2023, CC BY.

This paper is aimed to statistically estimate wind power that can be converted to electrical power. It is important to have an inclusive fact of wind phenomena to efficiently plan the generation of power from the wind. To estimate wind power potential, this paper includes daily average wind speeds, monthly average wind speeds, and related wind power density, and frequency distribution based on wind speed probability frequency, Weibull and Rayleigh distributions. The two parameters for Weibull distribution were found out using data from the Adama wind farm site. The yearly average wind power densities for wind velocity frequency distribution, the Weibull distribution, and the Rayleigh distribution models 412 W/m2, 370 W/m2, and 532 W/m2 respectively were estimated using wind speed statistics of the 2018 year at the ADAMA wind farm site. The value of estimated wind power density by Rayleigh distribution models is equivalent to maximum power density of the site. The result of this study shows that the selected site has utility-scale potential wind power. © 2021, ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering.

Chinese News Title Classification Based on Lightweight Improved ERNIE-RCNN

Aiming at the problems that the large-scale pre-training language model faces when dealing with news headlines, such as huge parameters, inefficient use of contextual semantic features and circular convolution neural network’s neglect of the importance of initial input elements, a news headline classification method that combines ERNIE (enhanced representation through knowledge integration) of mixture-of-expert model and recurrent convolution neural network with attention mechanism were proposed. Firstly, the text was encoded with the help of MoE’s improved ERNIE technology, and then the text was classified with attention RCNN (recurrent convolutional neural networks) on the basis of preserving the word order and characteristics of the text. In order to improve the classification ability, RCNN was improved by calculating the input fusion context weight. In the process of calculating the weights of experts in MoE, Gumbel-Softmax was selected as a new gating function to improve the traditional Softmax function, so as to better control the smoothness. According to the experimental results, it is found that compared with the traditional classification methods, the classification method proposed in this study shows significant advantages and greatly reduces the number of parameters. On this basis, the F1 value is increased by 0. 51% compared with the traditional model. A Gps/Bds Based Train Positioning Method Using Non-Differential Range Measurements

Compared with pseudorange measurement, carrier phase tracking is much less noisy, which can provide accurate positioning solutions. The existing carrier phase-based positioning methods rely on precise ephemeris or base station, which may cause poor real-time and increase complexity in the system. To simplify the calculation model and achieve accurate navigation solutions with a stand-alone receiver, a new GPS/BDS based real-time non-differential positioning method is proposed. Due to the need to estimate the ambiguity terms of carrier phase measurements, the dimension of the state is larger than that of the measurement, the system observability is evaluated via the observability degrees. Both the train test on Beijing- Shenyang high speed railway and simulation were carried out, and the results confirm that the multi-constellation method can improve the positioning accuracy compared with stand-alone cases. The position and velocity Root Mean Square of the proposed method are (0.9022 m, 0.9140 m, 1.1621 m) and (0.0818 m/s, 0.0958m/s, 0.0289m/s) in the north, east, down directions. The proposed method has improved positioning performance in terms of accuracy and observability compared with different combinations of measurement methods. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.
