In the automotive software development, interface definition languages (IDLs) are often used to provide system models and enable the automatic generation of communication mechanisms between different software components. This way, the development process is facilitated leaving the implementation of the application independent from communication mechanisms. However, the utilization of heterogenous platforms and standards in the automotive industry often leads to the repeated implementation of software components with the similar functionality. Also, due to the fact that IDLs are usually built only for one domain, similar or complementary communication mechanisms need to be defined in different interface definition languages, in order to enable the cross-domain communication. Two challenges in this topic are interesting for further analysis and this paper provides the theoretical aspects for their solution. The first challenge is the implementation of proper translation between available interface definition languages following the model driven development. The second challenge is the expansion of the code generated from IDLs to achieve the cross-domain communication between ADAS and IVI in automotive.

Temporal Information Reconstruction and Non-Aligned Residual in Spiking Neural Networks for Speech Classification

Recently, it can be noticed that most models based on spiking neural networks (SNNs) only use a same level temporal resolution to deal with speech classification problems, which makes these models cannot learn the information of input data at different temporal scales. Additionally, owing to the different time lengths of the data before and after the sub-modules of many models, the effective residual connections cannot be applied to optimize the training processes of these models. To solve these problems, on the one hand, we reconstruct the temporal dimension of the audio spectrum to propose a novel method named as Temporal Reconstruction (TR) by referring the hierarchical processing process of the human brain for understanding speech. Then, the reconstructed SNN model with TR can learn the information of input data at different temporal scales and model more comprehensive semantic information from audio data because it enables the networks to learn the information of input data at different temporal resolutions. On the other hand, we propose the Non-Aligned Residual (NAR) method by analyzing the audio data, which allows the residual connection can be used in two audio data with different time lengths. We have conducted plentiful experiments on the Spiking Speech Commands (SSC), the Spiking Heidelberg Digits (SHD), and the Google Speech Commands v0.02 (GSC) datasets. According to the experiment results, we have achieved the state-of-the-art (SOTA) result 81.02% on SSC for the test classification accuracy of all SNN models, and we have obtained the SOTA result 96.04% on SHD for the classification accuracy of all models. Furthermore, on the non-spiking dataset GSC, we can achieve a test classification accuracy of 95.63%, which surpasses the original baseline SNN-Delays. Meanwhile, the method proposed in this paper can speed up the model’s processing speed and reduce its energy consumption. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

A vehicular ad hoc network (VANETs) is transforming public transport into a safer wireless network, increasing its safety and efficiency. The VANET consists of several nodes which include RSU (Roadside Units), vehicles, traffic signals, and other wireless communication devices that are communicating sensitive information in a network. Nevertheless, security threats are increasing day by day because of dependency on network infrastructure, dynamic nature, and control technologies used in VANET. The security threats could be addressed widely by using machine learning and artificial intelligence on the road transport nodes. Robust Optimization for Quantum Reinforcement Learning control using Partial Observations

The current quantum reinforcement learning control models often assume that the quantum states are known a priori for control optimization. However, full observation of quantum state is experimentally infeasible due to the exponential scaling of the number of required quantum measurements on the number of qubits. In this paper, we investigate a robust reinforcement learning method using partial observations to overcome this difficulty. This control scheme is compatible with near-term quantum devices, where the noise is prevalent and predetermining the dynamics of quantum state is practically impossible. We show that this simplified control scheme can achieve similar or even better performance when compared to the conventional methods relying on full observation. We demonstrate the effectiveness of this scheme on examples of quantum state control and quantum approximate optimization algorithm. It has been shown that high-fidelity state control can be achieved even if the noise amplitude is at the same level as the control amplitude. Besides, an acceptable level of optimization accuracy can be achieved for QAOA with noisy control Hamiltonian. This robust control optimization model can be trained to compensate the uncertainties in practical quantum computing. © 2022, CC BY.

One of the most common kinds of cancer is breast *** early detection of it may help lower its overall rates of *** this paper,we robustly propose a novel approach for detecting and classifying breast cancer regions in thermal *** proposed approach starts with data preprocessing the input images and segmenting the significant regions of *** addition,to properly train the machine learning models,data augmentation is applied to increase the number of segmented regions using various scaling *** the other hand,to extract the relevant features from the breast cancer cases,a set of deep neural networks(VGGNet,ResNet-50,AlexNet,and GoogLeNet)are *** resulting set of features is processed using the binary dipper throated algorithm to select the most effective features that can realize high classification *** selected features are used to train a neural network to finally classify the thermal images of breast *** achieve accurate classification,the parameters of the employed neural network are optimized using the continuous dipper throated optimization *** results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach in classifying the breast cancer cases when compared to other recent approaches in the ***,several experiments were conducted to compare the performance of the proposed approach with the other *** results of these experiments emphasized the superiority of the proposed approach.

At present, there are more researches on the automatic driving technology of unmanned vehicles. It needs a main control unit, which enables the vehicle to automatically drive. The main control unit supports the access of various sensors and controllers. It can process data of each device and control the movement state of vehicles. Therefore, the main control unit needs to be tested repeatedly to ensure its functionality and stability. Based on Prescan simulation software and Matlab/Simulink software, this paper studies a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test system for testing the main control unit of unmanned vehicles according to the communication protocol and communication method of the real sensor and controller hardware devices. The deep crate grasping problem is a major challenge for manipulator in industrial applications. In order to solve the issue of deep crate grasping and ensure the path quality of the algorithm, this paper proposes a new hybrid obstacle avoidance planning algorithm based on goal-biased rapidly exploring random tree and improved artificial potential field (RRT-APF). Initially, the algorithm strategizes an efficient trajectory for the working element within the operational area. Subsequently, it dissects this trajectory through sampling, creating a sequence of sub-target points. These points serve as the basis for obstacle avoidance planning within the manipulator's configuration space, mitigating planning complexities. Moreover, the RRT algorithm is employed to address the challenge of local optima within the artificial potential field method. The stochastic nature of the RRT algorithm plays a crucial role in enabling the APF algorithm to break free from local optima. Ultimately, the efficacy of the algorithm is demonstrated through the planning of a path for obstacle avoidance on the DOBOT CR5 manipulator using MATLAB.

This paper proposes a novel role switching scheme (RSS) to optimize the secure communication by the cooperation of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Each UAV is enabled to switch its role during the flight, i.e., could be an aerial relay to serve ground users (GUs) or a friendly jammer to generate artificial noise (AN) to deteriorate the wiretapping of potential eavesdropper users (EUs). It's worthy to be noticed that the joint optimization for UAVs' trajectory and legitimate GUs' transmission power control with RSS is a non-convex mixed integer fractional programming problem. A multi-agent deep reinforcement learning (MADRL) combined successive convex approximate (SCA) algorithm is further designed to maximize the achievable secrecy energy efficiency (ASEE). Numerical results illustrate that compared with the role fixed scheme (RFS) and relaxation based SCA approaches, the proposed DRL-SCA algorithm endows UAVs the capacity to fly close enough to target users (both GUs and EUs) which brings a better achievable secrecy rate (ASR), less energy consumption and higher ASEE.

Large Visual Language Models (LVLMs) have achieved remarkable success in vision tasks. However, the significant differences between industrial and natural scenes make applying LVLMs challenging. Existing LVLMs rely on user-provided prompts to segment objects. This often leads to suboptimal performance due to the inclusion of irrelevant pixels. In addition, the scarcity of data also makes the application of LVLMs in industrial scenarios remain unexplored. To fill this gap, this paper proposes an open industrial dataset and a Refined Text-Visual Prompt (RTVP) for zero-shot industrial defect detection. First, this paper constructs the Multi-Modal Industrial Open Dataset (MMIO) containing 80K+ samples. MMIO contains diverse industrial categories, including 6 super categories and 18 subcategories. MMIO is the first large-scale multi-scenes pre-training dataset for industrial zero-shot learning, and provides valuable training data for open models in future industrial scenarios. Based on MMIO, this paper provides a RTVP specifically for industrial zero-shot tasks. RTVP has two significant advantages: First, this paper designs an expert-guided large model domain adaptation mechanism and designs an industrial zero-shot method based on Mobile-SAM, which enhances the generalization ability of large models in industrial scenarios. Second, RTVP automatically generates visual prompts directly from images and considers text-visual prompt interactions ignored by previous LVLM, improving visual and textual content understanding.
