The Internet of Things(IoT)is a modern approach that enables connection with a wide variety of devices *** to the resource constraints and open nature of IoT nodes,the routing protocol for low power and lossy(RPL)networks may be vulnerable to several routing ***’s why a network intrusion detection system(NIDS)is needed to guard against routing assaults on RPL-based IoT *** imbalance between the false and valid attacks in the training set degrades the performance of machine learning employed to detect network ***,we propose in this paper a novel approach to balance the dataset classes based on metaheuristic optimization applied to locality-sensitive hashing and synthetic minority oversampling technique(LSH-SMOTE).The proposed optimization approach is based on a new hybrid between the grey wolf and dipper throated optimization *** prove the effectiveness of the proposed approach,a set of experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance of NIDS for three cases,namely,detection without dataset balancing,detection with SMOTE balancing,and detection with the proposed optimized LSHSOMTE *** results showed that the proposed approach outperforms the other approaches and could boost the detection *** addition,a statistical analysis is performed to study the significance and stability of the proposed *** conducted experiments include seven different types of attack cases in the RPL-NIDS17 *** on the 2696 CMC,2023,vol.74,no.2 proposed approach,the achieved accuracy is(98.1%),sensitivity is(97.8%),and specificity is(98.8%).

Customer reviews on online platforms have grown to become an important source of insight into a company's performance. Food delivery services (FDS) companies aim to effectively use customers' feedback to identify areas for improvement of customer satisfaction. Although Arabic is becoming one of the most widely used languages on the Internet, only a few studies have focused on Arabic sentiment analysis to date. The present study conducts an extensive emotion mining and sentiment analysis on FDS-related reviews in Arabic, exploiting natural language processing, and machine learning techniques to extract information that reflects customers' subjective viewpoints, recognize their feelings, and determine polarity in the FDS domain. This work begins with collecting the FDS dataset (Talabat), and then extracting and creating a dialects lexicon for Arabic dialects, followed by walking the reader through detailed steps of cleaning and pre-processing a manually annotated dataset. Finally, we examined classification algorithms including Decision Tree (DT), and Support Vector Machine (SVM). We achieved a maximum accuracy of about 82% using the SVM classifier. © 2023 IEEE.

Brain disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is still difficult to diagnose. In the recent years, different novel deep learning algorithms have been applied to detect ASD. Most studies use the functional connectivity (FC) pattern to represent the brain activities. However, it has been investigated that dynamic functional connectivity (dFC) which represent more features than FC can characterize the intrinsic brain organization changes over time. The goal of this paper is to determine that dFC features are more successful than FC features in the classification of ASD using deep learning. In this paper, we propose a classification model using dFC and deep neural network. Firstly, we used windowed k-means (WKM) approach to compute the sub-state of the brain and extract the main features of the functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI). Then, two stacked denoising autoencoders were applied to extract the features and reduce the dimension. At last, the MLP was utilized to complete the classification task and do fine-tuning based on the autoencoder encoders weights. The experiments were carried out on the Autism Brain Imaging Data Exchange (ABIDE) datasets. Result shows that we acquired a mean accuracy of 68.51%. Overall, our proposed classification is effective and provide evidence that dFC contains more brain states features. © 2022 ACM.

This research introduces cloud-powered virtual doctor robots to improve elderly care and chronic illness management. This system uses recurrent neural networks (RNNs) to give personalized medical care to elderly chronic disease patients. These virtual doctor robots may integrate with cloud computing infrastructure to access huge medical databases for real-time patient data analysis and individualized treatment and care suggestions. Healthcare technology has advanced by using RNNs to learn from patient data, adapt to changing health situations, and predict prospective health issues. RNNs can interpret sequential data, thus virtual doctor robots may identify trends in patient health parameters, forecast illness development, and suggest risk mitigation strategies. Cloud-powered virtual doctor robots provide a scalable solution to conventional healthcare systems rising issues. These robots can work effectively in resource-constrained areas by offloading computational chores to distant servers, providing continuous medical expertise and lowering healthcare staff reliance. This technique might improve aged care and reduce load on overworked healthcare systems. Using proactive monitoring, timely intervention, and personalized guidance, virtual doctor robots with RNNs can improve health outcomes, empower patients to manage chronic conditions, and create a more sustainable healthcare model. © 2024 IEEE.

The study presented here consists of an entire framework for prediction of consumers behavior through the machine training of supervised learning methods. The strategy involves the following: data collection, preprocessing, exploration, feature selection, model selection, training, evaluation, interpretation and deployment. The systematic process is tailored to clear the pathway for combining data about customer taste, sophisticated habits, and purchasing trends. Primary components include data preprocessing, training of machine learning models, feature selection, and ethical issues regarding data privacy and transparency. The outcomes of the implementation are a high accuracy in consumers clustering, efficient classification of customers' behavior, as well as unveiling a bunch of crucial predictors that affect the customers mood and behavior. As a result, the report stresses the necessity of integrated monitoring and redirection strategies to realize the potential of the created models. The idea of predictive analysis as an evolving tool that enables marketers to tailor their campaigns more closely, and improve the overall customer experience therefore also receives attention. Spacecraft pose estimation is an essential contribution to facilitating central space mission activities like autonomous navigation, rendezvous, docking, and on-orbit servicing. Nonetheless, methods like Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), and Particle Filtering suffer significant drawbacks when implemented in space. Such techniques tend to have high computational complexity, low domain generalization capacity for varied or unknown conditions (domain generalization problem), and accuracy loss with noise from the space environment causes such as fluctuating lighting, sensor limitations, and background interference. In order to overcome these challenges, this study suggests a new solution through the combination of a Dual-Channel Transformer Network with Bayesian Optimization methods. The innovation is at the center with the utilization of EfficientNet, augmented with squeeze-and-excitation attention modules, to extract feature-rich representations without sacrificing computational efficiency. The dual-channel architecture dissects satellite pose estimation into two dedicated streams—translational data prediction and orientation estimation via quaternion-based activation functions for rotational precision. Activation maps are transformed into transformer-compatible sequences via 1×1 convolutions, allowing successful learning in the transformer's encoder-decoder system. To maximize model performance, Bayesian Optimization with Gaussian Process Regression and the Upper Confidence Bound (UCB) acquisition function makes the optimal hyperparameter selection with fewer queries, conserving time and resources. This entire framework, used here in Python and verified with the SLAB Satellite Pose Estimation Challenge dataset, had an outstanding Mean IOU of 0.9610, reflecting higher accuracy compared to standard models. One of the main applications of ubiquitous computing is in healthcare. Cloud-based health apps have supplanted popular health apps in recent years, allaying worries about computational cost and scalability. Data security and privacy become major concerns in a cloud-based, ubiquitous health care system. The primary contribution of this study is providing high privacy, data confidentiality, and availability against health data. This is accomplished by utilizing the suggested access control model, which grants access control to different system users based on a PR-based technique. For every user and piece of data, a Privacy Rating (PR) is calculated before access to any requested data is granted. The findings demonstrate that the suggested strategy offers a high degree of security and privacy for the data kept in the healthcare system. © 2024 IEEE.

A Smart Voting System is a sophisticated web service that offers a straightforward and secure way to conduct elections using blockchain technology. It guarantees the accuracy of votes, even in real-time voting, with fraud nearly eliminated, making the electoral process more straightforward and democratic. This research proposed CNN (convolutional neural network) algorithms, which provide a secure and easy-to-use face recognition-based user interface. The system compares a facial scan with data stored on central servers and confirms your identity if a match is found. The system uses the acronym UDD(Universal Democratic Delivery) to represent a voter's ability to vote on e-Enabled days, DDM(Direct Democracy Machine) and DRE(Direct Recording Electronic) machines, dead-end checking with removable inking pins, discounted absentee ballots, and more. The paper thoroughly discusses the claimed 99.5% accuracy of the CNN algorithm and explores the potential for private information leakage if implemented directly on user devices. This approach enables a more democratic process to emerge, ensuring that elections are both authentic and convenient. The experimental results demonstrated higher accuracy than traditional methods. © 2024 IEEE.

Language acquisition is an integral part of early schooling, but young English language learners struggle to learn vocabulary and syntax since they are not provided with specialized instruction. Conventional teaching may vary according to different learning speeds and it leads to unbalanced levels of proficiency among students and possibly leading to disengagement among slow learners. The present computer-assisted learning aids provide practice interactively but without real-time adaptation and personalized feedback, limiting their capacity to address learners’ unique problems. To overcome these constraints, this study suggests an Artificial Intelligence based personalized learning system that supports vocabulary and syntax learning via adaptive learning models, NLP-based chatbots and gamified interactive lessons. The system dynamically adapts content according to students’ most recent performance in real time to enable a personalized learning experience, which results in efficient Learning. The research has experimental study design, and two groups are considered, an AI-supported learning group and a traditional learning group. Pre-test and post-test design measures the effects of the system on vocabulary recall and syntax correctness. Other learner engagement rates like survey results and qualitative feedback inform learner experience and learning efficacy. Initial results indicate that learners working with the Artificial Intelligence powered learning system gained 25percent in recalling vocabulary and 30percent in syntax accuracy over the control group. Further, learner engagement rates are elevated because of real-time feedback and gamification components. These results emphasize the promise of AI-based personalized learning to boost language acquisition and lay the basis for further effective innovations in adaptive education technologies. © (2025), (Science and Information Organization). The electrical power transmission lines play a crucial role in maintaining a continuous electricity supply. However, the exposed environment of these lines increases the risks of faults occurrence, necessitating prompt detection, and classification, to eliminate them within a specified time. In light of this, the present study introduces a methodology for the detection and classification of faults in a three-phase transmission line system employing the Extreme Learning Machine (ELM). A 220 kV, 300 km three-phase transmission line system was simulated in MATLAB/Simulink software, where the current and voltage signals were generated under different fault conditions including fault types, fault inception time, and fault resistance. The fundamental components of these signals were used as inputs in the ELM model. Different shunt fault types, including line-to-ground, line-to-line, double-line-to-ground, triple-line, and triple-line-to-ground were applied for fault detection and classification framework. Furthermore, the optimum number of hidden neurons in the ELM model was investigated in this study. In terms of the Mean Squared Error (MSE) and correlation coefficient, four ELM variants based on Sine, Sigmoid, Radial Basis, and Triangular Basis transfer functions were assessed for each module. The outcome of these metrics indicates that the ELM with the sigmoid model demonstrated superior performance compared to the other ELM models. Based on statistical metrics MSE, Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), and Mean Absolute Error (MAE), and also the computational time, the efficiency of ELM-Sigmoid and state-of-the-art methods of Multi-Layer Perceptron Neural Network (MLPNN) and Radial Basis Function Neural Network (RBFNN) were compared and analyzed during training and testing phases. The results obtained revealed that the ELM-Sigmoid model outperforms the other models in the detection and classification of shunt faults with significant accuracy and fast computational speed. ©
