Internet of Medical Things(IoMT)plays an essential role in collecting and managing personal medical *** recent years,blockchain technology has put power in traditional IoMT systems for data sharing between different medical institutions and improved the utilization of medical ***,some problems in the information transfer process between wireless medical devices and mobile medical apps,such as information leakage and privacy *** paper first designs a cross-device key agreement model for blockchain-enabled *** model can establish a key agreement mechanism for secure medical data ***,a certificateless authenticated key agreement(KA)protocol has been proposed to strengthen the information transfer security in the cross-device key agreement *** proposed KA protocol only requires one exchange of messages between the two parties,which can improve the protocol execution ***,any unauthorized tampering of the transmitted signed message sent by the sender can be detected by the receiver,so this can guarantee the success of the establishment of a session key between the strange *** blockchain ledger can ensure that the medical data cannot be tampered with,and the certificateless mechanism can weaken the key escrow ***,the security proof and performance analysis are given,which show that the proposed model and KA protocol are more secure and efficient than other schemes in similar literature.

In the context of movie reviews, sentiment analysis plays a crucial role as these reviews often capture the emotions and opinions of viewers regarding the film. With the growing number of reviews across platforms like social media and movie review sites, it becomes feasible to automatically classify them into positive or negative sentiments. However, manually analyzing a dataset of 50,000 reviews is impractical. Therefore, this study focuses on conducting sentiment analysis on the IMDB movie review dataset, consisting of 50,000 entries, using an ensemble voting model. The machine learning models applied in this ensemble include Random Forest (RF) and Adaptive Boosting (AdaBoost). Two test scenarios were employed: the first compared the soft and hard voting approaches, while the second examined the impact of different training-test data splits. The findings indicate that the soft voting ensemble (SVE) model with an 80%-20% training-testing split achieved an accuracy of 88%, an F1-score of 88%, and an AUC of 0.94, which is 4% higher than the hard voting model.

Due to the insufficient semantic information supervision in existing works for dynamic facial expression recognition (DFER), videos with similar facial changes but different expressions may be easily confused. Thanks to the potential textual information for semantic supervision, contrastive language-image pretraining (CLIP) model provides a new direction for DFER. However, pre-trained CLIP based on image-text pairs has difficulty in capturing temporal features in the video domain. Therefore, we propose a novel visual language model that captures and aggregates dynamic features of expressions in semantic supervision via Inter-Frame Interaction Transformer (Inter-FIT) and Multi-Scale Temporal Aggregation (MSTA). Furthermore, though prompt learning is often used in CLIP to enhance semantic supervision, previous studies have only focused on the role of textual prompts, ignoring the importance of visual prompts in facilitating the relationality between the two. Therefore, we designed a Bidirectional Enhanced Prompt (BiEhPro) to facilitate the learning of this relationality between text and visual cues in enhancing semantic supervision. Extensive experiments and ablation studies on three benchmark datasets, i.e., DFEW, FERV39K, and MAFW, validate the effectiveness of our modules and algorithm. Comparing Fairness of Generative Mobility Models

Crowd flow data serves as a foundation for predictive modeling, aiding in understanding of city structure [3], epidemics [12], and visitation patterns [9]. Extensive mobility studies have applied variety of models in this area, however there has been little work in quantifying the fairness of them in terms of the equity of their performance across geographical space. Indeed, as recent evidence from the broader machine learning domain has shown, the systematic discrimination in making decisions against different groups has been shifted from people to autonomous algorithms [6]. In many applications, discrimination may be defined by different protected attributes, such as race, gender, ethnicity, and religion, that directly prevent favorable outcomes for a minority group in societal resource allocation, education equality, employment opportunity, etc [8]. Similarly, in the context of spatiotemporal data, mobility demand prediction algorithms have been shown to offer higher service quality to neighborhoods with a larger Caucasian population [4]. However, in such contexts, only a handful of recent studies exist that examine the fairness of location-based systems [13], and to the best of our knowledge, no effort has yet been made in measuring the fairness of generative mobility models and their resulting synthetic traces. In this paper, we seek to measure and compare these models based on fairness performance across multiple datasets. We do so by introducing metrics for evaluating both the utility of a generative model and the quality and fairness of their resulting traces, where accuracy is measured in terms of Common Part of Commuters (CPC). This metric is based on the Sørensen-Dice index and measures the similarity between real flows and generated flows (Equation 1) (Equation presented). Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) offers an effective solution to the issues faced by Large Language Models (LLMs) in hallucination generation and knowledge obsolescence by incorporating externally retrieved knowledge. However, due to potential conflicts between internal and external knowledge, as well as retrieval noise, LLMs often struggle to effectively integrate external evidence, leading to a decline in performance. Although existing methods attempt to tackle these challenges, they often struggle to strike a balance between model adherence and robustness, resulting in significant learning variance. Inspired by human cognitive processes, we propose Parenting, a novel framework that decouples adherence and robustness within the parameter space of LLMs. Specifically, Parenting utilizes a key parameter mining method based on forward activation gain to identify and isolate the crucial parameter units that are strongly linked to adherence and robustness. Then, Parenting employs a type-guided tailored tuning strategy, applying specific and appropriate fine-tuning methods to parameter units representing different capabilities, aiming to achieve a balanced enhancement of adherence and robustness. Extensive experiments on various datasets and models validate the effectiveness and generalizability of our methods. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Adoption of computerized systems by organizations in Nigeria poses some data security challenges to citizens and people from other nations. The challenges require organizations to deploy personal data security that are in line with global standards, hence, Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) was introduced. NDPR is to promote ethical personal data security and Nigeria’s attainment of the sustainable development goal-17. However, only small number of organizations in Nigeria are able to adopt the NDPR because its adoption is complex and necessitate the implementation of organizational change management (OCM) project. Experience shows that OCM projects usually fails because many OCM frameworks used for OCM projects do not align with both scientifically proven ideas and organizational realities. Our study addresses the benefits of collaborative practice research studies to the production of OCM frameworks that incorporates both theoretical ideas and organizational realities. Our study provides viable solutions to the problem of lack of practice oriented OCM frameworks that organizations in Nigeria can use to drive the adoption the NDPR.

In recent years, the academic and industrial science community has shown great interest in the Internet of Things and the decentralization of Blockchain networks, particularly in smart cities and emerging communities. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have gained significant attention in military and commercial systems, serving as emergency transport during natural disasters and epidemics such as the Coronavirus pandemic. In such scenarios, the use of Ad-Hoc wireless networks to cover large areas can be more secure if implemented as a shared database, such as Blockchain. This paper suggests the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles as a solution for the location and sterilization of coronavirus contaminated areas. Thus, one of these aerial vehicles will locate the infected area and update its spatial data block. Also, the surrounded aerial vehicles comply with this modification and change their location information in the Blockchain to pursue the target location, and together start to spray sterilizer. To improve localization accuracy, a swarm intelligence algorithm is employed, while Blockchain technology serves as a decentralized database for clusterization of other UAVs. Through realistic studies and analyses of localization and clusterization, the proposed method proves effective in locating and sterilizing polluted air regions. Additionally, this database technique provides a higher level of security, making it challenging to attack. Ultimately, this research contributes to the advancement of emergency transport networks, Blockchain technology, and IoT services. © 2023 IEEE.

Ant colony system algorithm (ACS), as an important evolutionary computation (EC) algorithm, has demonstrated significant advantages in solving complex optimization problems. However, traditional EC algorithms and traditional ACS algorithm often face the challenge of slow computational speed when dealing with large-scale problems. In recent years, matrix-based EC approaches have been proposed to accelerate the computational speed, which has obtained promising results in dealing with large-scale problems. However, most existing matrix-based EC algorithms are designed for continuous optimization problems, while the matrix-based approach integrated with ACS has not attracted enough attention, which will be efficient for solving large-scale discrete optimization problems. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a matrix-based ACS (MACS) algorithm and apply it to solve the traveling salesman problem (TSP). MACS is an innovative improvement over the traditional ACS algorithm, utilizing matrix operations to parallelly let ants select city and update pheromone. Experimental results show that the MACS algorithm has significantly better efficiency in accelerating computational speed while maintaining the remarkable problem-solving ability in solving large-scale TSP. © 2024 IEEE.
