Speech Recognition focuses on developing advanced technologies that can recognize and translate spoken language into text. Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology that captures human voice from a mi-crophone and analyzes it based on spoken words to comprehend natural language. In Ethiopia, ASR models have been developed for specific local languages such as Amharic, Tigrigna, Wolaytta, and Afaan Oromo, but there has been a lack of research on ASR models for the Hadiyyisa language, which is also spoken in Ethiopia. The research study designed and developed an ASR model for the Hadiyyisa language. The researchers collected data from native speakers of the Hadiyyisa language and used Python programming to design and develop the deep learning model for the Hadiyissa ASR model. Different methods and techniques were used in the study to achieve the research objectives and complete the entire research process. The proposed model utilized deep learning algorithms including RNN, LSTM, BiLSTM, and CNN, along with suitable feature extraction techniques such as Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC). The accuracy of the proposed ASR model was evaluated through experimentation, which demonstrated that the BiLSTM model outperformed the other deep learning models with an overall accuracy of 90.95 % Based on the experimental evidence, the proposed model was found to be better suited for ASR for the Hadiyyisa language. © 2023 IEEE.

Breast cancer(BC)is the most widespread tumor in females worldwide and is a severe public health *** is the leading reason of death affecting females between the ages of 20 to 59 around the *** detection and therapy can help women receive effective treatment and,as a result,decrease the rate of breast cancer *** cancer tumor develops when cells grow improperly and attack the healthy tissue in the human *** are classified as benign or malignant,and the absence of cancer in the breast is considered *** learning,machine learning,and transfer learning models are applied to detect and identify cancerous tissue like *** research assists in the identification and classification of *** implemented the pre-trained model AlexNet and proposed model Breast cancer identification and classification(BCIC),which are machine learning-based models,by evaluating them in the form of comparative *** used 3 datasets,A,B,and *** fuzzed these datasets and got 2 datasets,A2C and *** A2C is the fusion of A,B,and C with 2 classes categorized as benign and *** B3C is the fusion of datasets A,B,and C with 3 classes classified as benign,malignant,and *** used customized AlexNet according to our datasets and BCIC in our proposed *** achieved an accuracy of 86.5%on Dataset B3C and 76.8%on Dataset A2C by using AlexNet,and we achieved the optimum accuracy of 94.5%on Dataset B3C and 94.9%on Dataset A2C by using proposed model BCIC at 40 epochs with 0.00008 learning *** proposed fuzzed dataset model using transfer *** fuzzed three datasets to get more accurate results and the proposed model achieved the highest prediction accuracy using fuzzed dataset transfer learning technique.

Automated Program Repair (APR) automatically generates patches for identified defects. As a result, APR can encourage novice students to learn coding by providing appropriate patches. Since students have their coding conventions, we should be able to deal with many types of defects. Existing studies have used predefined RuleId-driven templates to automatically fix defects in Static Analysis Tools(SATs). However, the community periodically adds, deletes, or changes SAT's RuleIds. This is difficult for existing RuleId-based templates to reflect those changes immediately. Existing studies only cover about 10 RuleIds, making it difficult to address all defects faced by all students. Therefore, it is necessary to establish appropriate criteria for classifying templates. The SAT has a predefined format for how Error Messages are written, and since Error Messages contain fixing actions, defects with similar Error Messages tend to have similar fixing actions. These characteristics of the Error Message are suitable for reproducible template classification criteria. Our preliminary study demonstrated that by classifying patterns based on Error Messages, we could effectively address various defects, including those in different programming languages, using a single template. This means that if a newly added RuleId corresponds to an Error Message format already in the predefined Error Message-based template, it can be modified without additional effort. We plan to construct reproducible templates for each Error Message and provide ongoing patching of defects to students. © 2023 IEEE.

The log-structured merge-tree (LSM-tree)-based key-value store has been widely adopted by many large-scale data storage applications for its excellent write performance. However, such write performance gains mainly come from scarifying read performance due to the leveled and log-structured intrinsic characteristics of the LSM-tree. Therefore, the critical challenge of the existing LSM-tree is how to improve the read efficiency by reducing read amplification. This article for the first time proposes Tidal-tree-Mem, a novel data structure where data flow inside the LSM-tree-like Tidal waves. First, a floating strategy is proposed to allow frequently accessed files at the bottom of the LSM-tree to move to higher positions, reducing read amplification. Second, a stretching strategy is proposed to vary the shape of the LSM-tree to adapt to workloads with different characteristics. To evaluate the performance of Tidal-tree-Mem, we conduct a series of experiments using standard benchmarks from YCSB. The experimental results show that Tidal-tree-Mem can effectively reduce read amplification and the overall latency by over 71.94% and 47.34%, respectively, compared with representative schemes. © 1982-2012 IEEE.

The stock market plays a pivotal role in a nation's economy. People tend to invest in the stock market due to its high rate of return. However, predicting the stock market remains a formidable challenge. This research uses machine learning algorithms to predict the ASPI and S&P 20 monthly stock market indexes by considering global economic conditions, macroeconomic variables, and sentiment data. Correlation tests, forward stepwise regression, and p-value tests were carried out to identify the influential variables. Machine learning algorithms including deep learning were utilized for model building, using the influential variables dataset. Shuffling and non-shuffling methods were deployed during dataset splitting. Additionally, included the previous month's stock value to the influential variables dataset and re-conducted the model building to assess the performance. The best-performing model (with the lowest MAE rate) was selected separately for ASPI and S&P 20 prediction.

The flourish of deep learning frameworks and hardware platforms has been demanding an efficient compiler that can shield the diversity in both software and hardware in order to provide application *** the existing deep learning compilers,TVM is well known for its efficiency in code generation and optimization across diverse hardware *** the meanwhile,the Sunway many-core processor renders itself as a competitive candidate for its attractive computational power in both scientific computing and deep learning *** paper combines the trends in these two ***,we propose swTVM that extends the original TVM to support ahead-of-time compilation for architecture requiring cross-compilation such as *** addition,we leverage the architecture features during the compilation such as core group for massive parallelism,DMA for high bandwidth memory transfer and local device memory for data locality,in order to generate efficient codes for deep learning workloads on *** experiment results show that the codes generated by swTVM achieve 1.79x improvement of inference latency on average compared to the state-of-the-art deep learning framework on Sunway,across eight representative *** work is the first attempt from the compiler perspective to bridge the gap of deep learning and Sunway processor particularly with productivity and efficiency in *** believe this work will encourage more people to embrace the power of deep learning and Sunwaymany-coreprocessor.

Handwritten character recognition systems are used in every field of life nowadays,including shopping malls,banks,educational institutes,*** is the national language of Pakistan,and it is the fourth spoken language in the ***,it is still challenging to recognize Urdu handwritten characters owing to their cursive *** paper presents a Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)model to recognize Urdu handwritten alphabet recognition(UHAR)offline and online *** research contributes an Urdu handwritten dataset(aka UHDS)to empower future works in this *** offline systems,optical readers are used for extracting the alphabets,while diagonal-based extraction methods are implemented in online ***,our research tackled the issue concerning the lack of comprehensive and standard Urdu alphabet datasets to empower research activities in the area of Urdu text *** this end,we collected 1000 handwritten samples for each alphabet and a total of 38000 samples from 12 to 25 age groups to train our CNN model using online and offline ***,we carried out detailed experiments for character recognition,as detailed in the *** proposed CNN model outperformed as compared to previously published approaches.

The ATT&CK MITRE framework serves as an expansive repository of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures. Given the sheer volume of these intricate attack patterns, the conventional manual navigation method proves to be time-intensive and less efficient for security analysts. As a remedy, there arises a compelling necessity to present the rich content encapsulated within the ATT&CK MITRE repository through interactive visualizations. In this paper ATT&CKViz an interactive web-based cyber-Attack patterns visualization tool is presented that aims to empower security analysts with the ability to effortlessly explore the repository from diverse angles, which facilitates deep insights into cyber threats. The aim is to understand cyber threat efficiently with a timely response. The empirical evaluations depict that effectiveness and user-friendliness of ATT&CKViz. © 2024 IEEE.

Mobile edge computing aims to provide cloud-like services on edge servers located near Mobile Devices (MDs) with higher Quality of Service (QoS). However, the mobility of MDs makes it difficult to find a global optimal solution for the coupled service placement and request scheduling problem. To address these issues, we consider a three-Tier MEC network with vertical and horizontal cooperation. Then we formulate the joint service placement and request scheduling problem in a mobile scenario with heterogeneous services and resource limits, and convert it into two Markov decision processes to decouple decisions across successive time slots. We propose a Cyclic Deep Q-network-based Service placement and Request scheduling (CDSR) framework to find a long-Term optimal solution despite future information unavailability. Specifically, to solve the issue of enormous action space, we decompose the system agent and train them cyclically. Evaluation results demonstrates the effectiveness of our proposed CDSR on user-perceived QoS. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents SenseNet, a convolution neural network (CNN) model for image segmentation. SenseNet architecture includes encoders with their corresponding decoders and bottleneck skip connections. The last layer of the architecture is a classification layer that classifies each pixel of an image for image segmentation. SenseNet addresses the limitations of conventional semantic segmentation models. Moreover, the skip connection does not include sufficient information for the recovery in the decoder path. This paper proposes a novel network structure combining a modified dense block and dense skip connection for efficient information recovery at the decoder path. Furthermore, this paper also proposes a dense, long skip connection that transfers the feature maps of each layer of the encoder to a layer of the decoder. This dense skip connection helps the network recover the information efficiently in the decoder path. SenseNet achieves state-of-the-art accuracy with fewer parameters and high-level features in the decoder path. This study evaluated SenseNet on the urban scene benchmark dataset CamVid and measured the performance in terms of intersection over union (IoU) and global accuracy.
