The term "heart or cardiovascular disease" is frequently used to refer to a variety of heart-related issues. It is one of the illnesses with the highest mortality rate. Its fatality rate results in nearly 17 million deaths worldwide. Given the daily increase in heart disease cases, predicting any disease early is critical and concerning. Early detection of heart disease is a difficult task that must be accomplished carefully and effectively by gathering precise information about the patient who is at risk for heart disease. To predict whether a person has cardiac disease, there are numerous AI-based (Machine/Deep learning) Models available considering medical characteristics (features) of heart disease. By comparing and contrasting several machine learning classifiers, this paper proposed a heart disease prediction system. This system will aid in identifying and predicting whether the patient is likely to have or be diagnosed with heart disease based on his or her current medical state. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

India is a country that is going to become the most populated country in the world in the coming years. It has a large population of youth. Today's youth enjoy riding bikes and often disregard safety precautions such as wearing a helmet. Because of these, two-wheelers accidents are increasing day by day, which causes deaths and several types of serious injuries. Significant causes of death are head injuries, which can be prevented by wearing a helmet and taking proper safety precautions. One can also see that drinking and driving have also increased, leading to road accidents. Overspeeding is also one of the major factors. The increasing rate of road accidents made us develop a smart helmet using the internet of things, which reduces accidents and the risk of death. It has a feature where the bike starts only if the rider wears a helmet. If the rider is over-drunk or not wearing the helmet, the ignition will automatically switch off. If any accident occurs, the GSM modem and the GPS modem will send the message to the registered contact number by using a SIM card. In addition, if the bike or helmet is stolen, the owner can easily find out the exact location of the bike and the helmet using this device. This feature is necessary for a country like India, where bike theft cases are frequent and high. © 2023 IEEE.

The oxide film formed on TA15 alloy in0.5 mol·L^(-1)H_(2)SO_(4)at different applied potentials is investigated by evaluating the film formation current density,film thickness,surface film composition,valence state,and the electrochemical *** relative quantitative spectral analysis revealed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and X-ray absorption spectra(XAS)shows that the increasing applied potential promotes the formation of thick and high-valence state *** contrasting with XAS of the reference titanium oxides,it is found that TiO_(2)within the oxide film changes from anatase type to rutile type with the potential increases to 2.00 *** oxide film formed at passive region has better protection performance,and with the increase of applied potential,the corrosion resistance of passive film increases,whereas the ND(donor density)values obtained from the Mott-Schottky(MS)results decrease with the increasing applied potential,indicating a better uniformity and protective effect of the oxide *** on above facts,the model of the oxide films formed on TA15 at different applied potentials in passive region and dissolve region is ***,the existence forms of all the TA15alloying elements under the most corrosion resistant condition are confirmed.

In today's world, the agriculture industry has a lot of room for growth by incorporating the newest technical progressions and decision support systems to have enough surplus food output to feed the growing population. To perform and monitor numerous agricultural tasks in the fields, smart devices, remote sensors, the Internet of Things (IoT), and UAVs/Drones can be utilized to meet market demand for food and sustain the planet's survival. Since ancient times, locust and pests have destroyed fields and caused considerable problems with food security. Both historical and modern literature has reported serious outbreaks. Innovative technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), offer a lot of promise to improve agricultural operations. Farmers will be able to make more informed decisions in less time, allowing them to manage their crops more effectively while lowering costs and boosting yields. The offered paper covers several topics linked to IoT-based technologies, as well as the many types of devices and sensors that can be used to detect locust and prevent crop destruction. The Smart Locust Swarm Detection and Prevention Shield is a machine-assisted repellent system in which Speech Recognition Sensors are utilized to detect the voice of a locust swarm using a Noise Compensated Model capable of detecting the ideal vocal qualities even in loud environments. This paper explains the components required to detect the presence of a locust swarm, including Voice Recording sensors, Motor Module controller, GSM Module, Microphone, Solar Panel Directional Speakers, and Voice Recognized Input Signal transmitted by the Motor Module controller. This paper looks at how the IoT is being utilized in agriculture to achieve smart and precise farming. Ordinal real-world data such as concept hierarchies, ontologies, genealogies, or task dependencies in scheduling often has the property to not only contain pairwise comparable, but also incomparable elements. Order diagrams provide an important tool for understanding and thus discovering knowledge in such data. Easily readable drawings of such order diagrams are hard to come by, even for small ordered sets. Many attempts were made to transfer classical graph drawing approaches to order diagrams. Although these methods produce satisfying results for some ordered sets, they unfortunately perform poorly in general. In this work, we present the novel algorithm DimDraw to decompose an ordered set (e.g., a concept hierarchy) in linear orders and to produce a corresponding order diagram. This algorithm is based on a relation between the dimension of an ordered set and the bipartiteness of its transitive incompatibility graph. To evaluate the quality of the algorithm, a user study was conducted where generated drawings were compared with ones from state-of-the-art drawing algorithms. © 2023 Brown University. Split learning (SL) and Federated Learning (FL) are popular distributed learning frameworks used to increase data privacy and reduce computation loads of Internet of Things (IoT) devices. However, one of the major challenges of distributed learning on IoT devices is determining the portion of computation load to be assigned for the devices compared to the server side. The contributions of the existing works in the literature are either limited by consideration of homogeneous resources available at all IoT devices or by not distributing computation loads among the devices in an efficient way. In this paper, we propose an adaptive clustering-based computation load distribution method for IoT devices, with heterogeneous resource capacities, participating in the model training. The clustering makes the optimal determination of the split point of the learning model, which is scalable even for a large number of devices. The numerical evaluation of the proposed learning model implemented using Python 3.0 and the comparative performance results show that the proposed load distribution policy for the learning models reduces the time by 160 times on average compared to the usual brute force method. © 2023 ACM.

One of the major challenging task is to maintain the Autonomous vehicles as well as to analyze the future transportation systems. To solve such kind of issues proposed three different technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Light Fidelity and LoRa has been analyzed. AI and LiFi technologies have the potential to revolutionize transportation systems, especially for autonomous vehicles. LiFi uses visible light for data transmission, offering higher rates, security, and energy efficiency. AI is crucial for autonomous vehicles, enabling real-time data transmission, secure communication, intelligent traffic management, and cooperative driving. Challenges include cost, range limitations, and infrastructure integration. The research proposes an innovative system combining LiFi as well as LoRa technologies to improve navigation in congested urban environments. The LiFi transmitter uses visible light to transmit location information to LiFi receivers in vehicles, providing continuous, seamless navigation even in areas without service. The system also broadcasts vehicle location to the outside world via a LoRa module, providing long-range and low-power navigation in non-serviceable locations like terrines, valleys, and tunnels. AI, LiFi, and LoRa are crucial technologies for autonomous vehicles and transportation systems. AI provides the "brain"for autonomous vehicles, while LiFi offers high-speed, secure, and interference-free communication. LoRa is ideal for long-range, low-data-rate communication, enabling accurate decision-making, enhanced safety, and efficient transportation. These technologies are essential for a future autonomous vehicle-friendly future. © 2024 IEEE.

As society progresses, liquid identification plays an increasingly important role in human life. But for now, minority of existing liquid identification solutions on the market can meet daily requirements of being ubiquitous, cost-effective and non-intrusive enough. In this work, we propose ASLiquid, the first liquid counterfeit identification system with commercial off-the-shelf earphones. Our core insight is that earphones can effectively induce acoustic resonance in container, and this phenomenon is observed highly associated with the changes in liquid density and solute compositions. Deploying ASLiquid introduces three main challenges: hardware heterogeneity among different earphones, diversity of user operations, and data complexity due to variations in liquid volume and device placement. To address these issues, we first propose to eliminate the existence of hardware noise and frequency response diversity for an earphone-irrelevant solution. Afterwards, we design a user operation adaptation algorithm to extract valuable feature data during each measurement period. To alleviate problems in data complexity, we propose a spectrum projection algorithm that can effectively generate CFR data of unknown liquid volumes and a VAE based anomaly detection model for counterfeit identification. We evaluate our system with six different earphones and under various conditions. Experimental results reveal that ASLiquid can achieve F1 scores of 95%-99.25% for seven frequently occurring liquid counterfeit tasks, even in specialized attacks on liquids with 1% difference in mass fraction and different types of solutions but with the same density. © 2024 Copyright is held by the owner/author(s).
