This work presents an adaptive tracking guidance method for robotic fishes. The scheme enables robots to suppress external interference and eliminate motion jitter. An adaptive integral surge line-of-sight guidance rule is designed to eliminate dynamics interference and sideslip issues. Limited-time yaw and surge speed observers are reported to fit disturbance variables in the model. The approximation values can compensate for the system's control input and improve the robots' tracking ***, this work develops a terminal sliding mode controller and third-order differential processor to determine the rotational torque and reduce the robots' run jitter. Then, Lyapunov's theory proves the uniform ultimate boundedness of the proposed method. Simulation and physical experiments confirm that the technology improves the tracking error convergence speed and stability of robotic fishes.

With the pervasive integration of artificial intelligence into all aspects of human life, talent emerges as a primary resource. Upon analysing the current state of talent training in higher education institutions, issues such as dispersed knowledge points, overlapping content, a singular practice approach and ineffective evaluation have been identified. In response to these challenges, this paper proposes a multidisciplinary and comprehensive practical teaching methodology grounded in the knowledge graph framework. It delves into diverse paths for practical teaching and assessment, including aspects like teaching objectives, problem decomposition, resource integration, implementation methods and performance evaluation. The practical application of the SSD algorithm in researching service robot indoor object detection serves as an illustrative example. Employing the holistic practical teaching approach facilitated by the knowledge graph, this model guides students in acquiring object detection expertise, thereby enhancing their comprehensive development. The complexity and diversity of smart grid systems increase the likelihood of anomalies in communications between devices in the system, and how these anomalies are detected is critical to the security of the grid system. However, the distribution of traffic types in the grid is often highly unbalanced, with the total amount of normal traffic data often far outweighing the anomalous data. This imbalance compromises the effectiveness of the detection model and poses a significant threat to the overall security of the grid This paper improves on traditional conditional generation adversarial neural networks and designs a new approach to overcome this obstacle and enhance the security of smart grid systems. In the generator part, the spatial features of the data are captured by convolutional neural networks, and the temporal features of the data are captured by gated recurrent units. By integrating these two components into the generative network we can generate synthetic data with both temporal and spatial features, thus enhancing the minority class samples. By incorporating the augmented minority data into the training process, the proposed approach enables the detection model to understand the distribution of features of the minority anomaly samples more accurately. This improved learning accuracy translates into improved model performance, resulting in higher detection rates for Previously under-represented anomalies. In addition, our approach effectively addresses the inherent bias towards traffic types with higher flows typically observed in asymmetric datasets, thus providing a more equitable and comprehensive security solution for smart grid systems. © 2023 IEEE.

Preserving details and avoiding high computational costs are the two main challenges for the High-Resolution Salient Object Detection (HRSOD) task. In this paper, we propose a two-stage HRSOD model from the perspective of evolution and succession, including an evolution stage with Low-resolution Location Model (LrLM) and a succession stage with High-resolution Refinement Model (HrRM). The evolution stage achieves detail-preserving salient objects localization on the low-resolution image through the evolution mechanisms on supervision and feature;the succession stage utilizes the shallow high-resolution features to complement and enhance the features inherited from the first stage in a lightweight manner and generate the final high-resolution saliency prediction. Besides, a new metric named Boundary-Detail-aware Mean Absolute Error (MAEBD) is designed to evaluate the ability to detect details in high-resolution scenes. Extensive experiments on five datasets demonstrate that our network achieves superior performance at real-time speed (49 FPS) compared to state-of-the-art methods. Single Domain Generalization in Vibration Damper Detection Using Frequency Domain Attention and Scale-Invariant Learning

Improving the generalization capability of vibration damper detection model for transmission lines is essential for its application in complex power scenarios. Variations in vibration damper types, and unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) shooting distances lead to domain shift, which impacts detection performance. This paper proposes a single domain generalization (SDG) detection method for vibration dampers that integrates structural knowledge to guide the model in extracting domaininvariant features (DIF), combining frequency domain attention (FDA) and scale-invariant learning (SIL). Different types of vibration dampers exhibit combinatory structural invariance, while dampers of varying scales demonstrate aspect ratio invariance. First, a learnable weight matrix is applied to the amplitude spectrum after Fourier transformation, preserving low-frequency information while attenuating high-frequency components. This approach retains structural features and reduces morphological differences. Next, SIL is introduced to emphasize aspect ratios during bounding box regression, improving the model's capacity to handle scale variations and enhancing feature generalization. Experimental results demonstrate that without significantly increasing the number of parameters and model size, the proposed method achieves AP50 of 60.8% and 77.1% in the two target domains, respectively, representing increases of 3.3% and 4.0% over the original model, thus offering strong support for the practical application of intelligent detection models. © 1986-2012 IEEE.

This paper proposes a multi-agent deep reinforcement learning (MADRL) based algorithm for charging control of multiple electric vehicles (EVs) in an electric vehicle charging station (EVCS) with dynamic operations. By taking the uncertainties of EV users’ behaviors and charging prices into consideration, a Markov game with multiple objectives is first established, where the individual objective of reducing EV charging costs and the collective objective of mitigating charging load fluctuations are both studied. Then, a multi-agent actor-double-critic (MAADC) algorithm with a unified advantage actor-critic framework is proposed, where two advantage functions are designed as the local and global critics, and the integrated actor is employed to balance the learning towards the individual and collective objectives. With the advent of the 5G era, the development of IoT technology has been accelerated. Due to the continuous increase in the amount of data waiting to be processed from the edge, edge nodes may struggle to handle such a vast amount of data. Therefore, the technology of cloud-edge collaboration has emerged, and how to achieve cloud-edge collaborative task scheduling has become a current research hotspot. This article provides a detailed exposition of the relevant work on task scheduling in the cloud-edge environment, and outlines the common optimization objectives in the cloud-edge collaboration scenario. The methods used to solve task scheduling problems are classified and summarized, including heuristic, heuristic algorithm based on linear programming, and meta-heuristic algorithms. The advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm are analyzed. Current optimization methods for microgrid scheduling face issues such as insufficient precision in energy distribution, high operational costs, and inefficiency. In response to these challenges, an optimization scheduling method for multi-energy microgrids based on the QUBO (Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization) quantum computing model is proposed in this paper, alongside a discretization approach based on a grid partitioning strategy. To validate the feasibility of addressing microgrid optimization scheduling problems in a quantum computing environment, a QUBO model is constructed and simulation studies are conducted in the qbsolv environment provided by D-Wave. The results indicate that operational costs are significantly reduced with an increase in the number of grids, particularly a reduction of 4.52% when the number of grids increases from five to ten. This method not only effectively enhances the precision of electricity supply and energy utilization efficiency but also reduces unnecessary electrical waste and economic costs. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. Initialization Approach for Nonlinear State-Space Identification via the Subspace Encoder Approach

The SUBNET neural network architecture has been developed to identify nonlinear state-space models from input-output data. To achieve this, it combines the rolled-out nonlinear state-space equations and a state encoder function, both parameterised as neural networks The encoder function is introduced to reconstruct the current state from past input-output data. Hence, it enables the forward simulation of the rolled-out state-space model. While this approach has shown to provide high-accuracy and consistent model estimation, its convergence can be significantly improved by efficient initialization of the training process. This paper focuses on such an initialisation of the subspace encoder approach using the Best Linear Approximation (BLA). Using the BLA provided state-space matrices and its associated reconstructability map, both the state-transition part of the network and the encoder are initialized. The performance of the improved initialisation scheme is evaluated on a Wiener-Hammerstein simulation example and a benchmark dataset. The results show that for a weakly nonlinear system, the proposed initialisation based on the linear reconstructability map results in a faster convergence and a better model quality.
