Wind energy conversion system (WECS) is essentially a time-varying system with high nonlinear characteristics, which leads to the difficulty of guaranteeing the control performance in a wide-scale operating conditions for the conventional linear control strategies. In this paper, a linear-parameter-varying (LPV) gain-scheduled controller is proposed for variable-speed-variable-pitch wind turbines above rated wind speed, which improves both steady-and dynamic-response performances under wide-scale operating conditions. Firstly, the H 2 /H ∞ technique is adopted to reduce the rated power tracking errors, while enhancing the robustness against high-frequency turbulence. Secondly, the regional pole placement technique is applied on WECS, which builds the connections to the dynamic response performance. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, the simulation is implemented on the NREL 5 MW wind turbine, which is compared with the conventional local linear control strategy with a full analysis on the related performances.

In this paper, we study the semi-global output containment control problem of a multi-agent system in the presence of actuator saturation over a directed network. The leader and follower agents are of different dynamics, and the follower agents are affected by disturbances generated by the leader agents through directed paths in the communication topology. The control objective of the output containment control is to drive the output trajectories of the follower agents to converge to the convex hull spanned by the outputs of the leader agents in the presence of disturbances. Low gain feedback containment protocols are constructed based on the output regulation approach and distributed observers. It is shown that semi-global output containment control can be achieved by the proposed protocols, if each follower agent is connected to at least one leader agent through a directed path in the communication topology. Simulation results verify the theoretical conclusions.

An important way for people to obtain information is vision. However, during the collection and transmission of digital images, there is often some noise that is not good for people to get information quickly and correctly. Therefore, before the image processing analysis, the image denoising pretreatment is particularly important. However, the traditional denoising method will lose the details of the image and the result of denoising is unsatisfactory. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of sparse representation theory, it has also made great progress in image processing and has been well applied in image denoising, which has become one of the most effective methods in current image denoising methods. Using sparse coding decomposes the image on sparse domain, and the handling of the sparse coefficient by setting threshold. And based on a sparse representation of an overly-complete dictionary, an image is represented by a linear combination of atoms in the dictionary. This paper focuses on the problem of L 2 -L ∞ dynamic output feedback controller (DOFC) design for nonlinear switched systems with nonlinear perturbations in the Takagi- Sugeno fuzzy framework. First, the average dwell time approach is used to stabilize a nonlinear switched system exponentially under an arbitrary switching law. Then, based on the technique of piecewise Lyapunov functions, a fuzzy-rule-dependent DOFC is designed to ensure that the overall closed-loop system is exponentially stable with a weighted L 2 -L ∞ performance level (γ, α). The solvability condition for the desired DOFC is derived using a linearization technique. It is shown that the controller parameters can be obtained as solutions to a set of strict linear matrix inequalities that are numerically solvable with available standard software. Finally, two simulation examples illustrate effectiveness of the developed technique, including cognitive-radio systems.
