This paper studies the problem of global leader-following consensus of a group of discrete-time general linear systems with bounded *** construct a bounded state feedback control law for each follower agent in the group by using a multihop relay protocol,in which the agent obtains the information of other agents through multi-hop paths in the communication *** number of hops each agent uses to obtain its information about other agents for an input is less than or equal to the sum of the number of real eigenvalues on the unit circle and the number of pairs of complex eigenvalues on the unit circle of the sub-system corresponding to the input,and the feedback gains are constructed from the adjacency matrix associated with the communication *** show that these control laws achieve global leader-following consensus when the communication topology is a strongly connected and detailed balanced directed graph and the leader is a neighbor of at least one follower agent.

This paper studies the global optimal consensus problem for a multi-agent system with bounded *** agent is described by a single-integrator dynamics and has its own objective function which is known to itself *** each agent,we construct a bounded local control law that uses the information accessible to it through the communication topology underlying the multi-agent *** is shown that these control laws together achieve global optimal consensus for the multi-agent system,that is,all agents reach consensus at a state that minimizes the sum of the objective functions of all agents as long as the communication topology is strongly connected and *** results are given to illustrate the theoretical results.

With the national emphasis on energy conservation and environmental protection and as the primary energy consumption and emissions, more and more people pay attention on the energy saving of thermal power plant. In this paper, some relevant indicators for the energy saving of thermal power plant are selected,and the improved ELECTRE based on entropy weight is applied to the comprehensive evaluation of energy saving and emission reduction in thermal power plant. Based on the information entropy, the weight coefficient of each index is determined, and the scientific and objectivity of the energy saving evaluation of thermal power plant are raised. Using ELECTRE to sort, the principle is simple and the effect is good Take five plants in an area as example, nine indicators are selected to build energy-related evaluation system. Analysis and calculation based on the evaluation model established in this paper, ultimate proof that the ELECTRE Method Based on Entropy in Comprehensive Evaluation of Power Plant in the energy saving is effective.

Dual-Tone Radio Interferometric Positioning systems for Multi-Target Localization Using a Single Mobile Anchor

In this paper, a low-cost dualtone radio interferometric positioning system using a single mobile anchor is proposed to locate multiple targets at the same time. We name it mDRIPS. In mDRIPS, each target continuously transmits a dual-tone signal with its dedicated frequencies, and the mobile anchor receives the signals at different positions along its trajectory, Neither time synchronization between the mobile anchor and the targets nor time synchronization among the targets is required. We take the instability of targets clocks into consideration and develop an ESPRIT-type algorithm to estimate frequencies of each dual-tone signal. Furthermore, the time of arrival （TOA） of each target signal is extracted from the phase estimates of the received dual-tone signals. After measuring several TOAs at different locations along the anchor＇s trajectory, each target can be located. Since the frequency difference of the two tones of each dualtone signal is designed to be smaller than the channel coherence bandwidth, the same fading effect on these two tones can be eliminated. Moreover, the integer ambiguity problem due to phase wrapping is investigated, and a localization algorithm to deal with a simplified ambiguity problem is proposed. Numerical results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed mDRIPS.

This paper introduces an on-line diagnostic function for temperature sensors using a noise analysis approach. The deviation of temperature measurements from their average value is treated as the noise input data, then the noise data is filtered through the Butterworth filter. The power spectrum density estimation of the noise data is obtained by using the Welch method. The first-order characteristic of the temperature sensor is used to obtain the characteristic frequency of the sensor, which can then be used to determine the working status of the sensor. Finally, through a large number of experiments, the results have shown that the sensor's characteristic frequency in a failure condition is significantly higher than that in the normal state. So it verifies the feasibility of on-line diagnosis by using the noise analysis approach for the temperature sensor.

The series connection of insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) allows the operation at voltage levels higher than the rated voltage of one IGBT. However, the technology has not been widely applied due to transient voltage unbalance. Asynchronous gate drive signals, which cause series-connected IGBTs not to turn-on and turn-off at the same time, result in serious unbalanced voltage sharing. This paper presents an active voltage balancing control for multi series connected HV-IGBTs including the active voltage balancing control (AVBC) circuit integrated in the gate driver and the control for multi series connected IGBTs. The effectiveness of the control has been experimentally validated in a 10 kV dc-link voltage converter using four 4.5 kV HV-IGBTs in series connection.

Data analysis and processing of manufacturing process is significant to ensure the stable production safety, maintain quality stabilization, and optimize production profit. Practical manufacturing process often has complex characteristics, such as multimode, nonlinearity, etc. Mode division can divide manufacturing process into multiple modes and is useful for subsequent process monitoring and scheduling optimizing. In this paper, density peaks clustering (DPC) based on multiple distance measures is used for mode division in manufacturing process. Multiple distance measures for computing the local density and minimum distance between the point and any other point with higher density in DPC are compared and analyzed. To illustrate the effectiveness of the clustering method for mode division in manufacturing process, experiments are developed based on penicillin fermentation process and practical foods industrial production process. Experimental results verify the feasibility and efficiency of the clustering method for mode division in manufacturing process.

The breathing adjuster is the core component of life support system of an aircraft and it is very important to control the valve to make the breathing adjuster supply the pilot the mixed air with the suitable oxygen concentration. In this paper the mathematical model, which describes the relation between the opening degree of the valve of the breathing adjuster and the flight altitude of the aircraft, is set up through analyzing requirement of aviation physiology and working principles of the breathing adjuster. Then a fuzzy controller is designed to control the opening degree of the valve in order to make the breathing adjuster supply to the pilot the mixed air with suitable oxygen concentration. Finally MATLAB Simulink is employed to verify the feasibility and validity of the fuzzy controlling approach. The results of simulating experiments show that the fuzzy control approach proposed in this paper can make the breathing adjuster supply the mixed air with suitable oxygen concentration to the pilot boarded on an aircraft.

In this paper we study the stability and L 2 -gain properties of a class of hybrid systems that exhibit linear flow dynamics, periodic time-triggered jumps and arbitrary nonlinear jump maps. This class of hybrid systems is relevant for a broad range of applications including periodic event-triggered control, sampled-data reset control, sampled-data saturated control, and certain networked control systems with scheduling protocols. For this class of continuous-time hybrid systems we provide new stability and L 2 -gain analysis methods. Inspired by ideas from lifting we show that the stability and the contractivity in L 2 -sense (meaning that the L 2 -gain is smaller than 1) of the continuous-time hybrid system is equivalent to the stability and the contractivity in L 2 -sense (meaning that the ℓ 2 -gain is smaller than 1) of an appropriate discrete-time nonlinear system. These new characterizations generalize earlier (more conservative) conditions provided in the literature. We show via a reset control example and an event-triggered control application, for which stability and contractivity in L 2 -sense is the same as stability and contractivity in ℓ 2 -sense of a discrete-time piecewise linear system, that the new conditions are significantly less conservative than the existing ones in the literature. Moreover, we show that the existing conditions can be reinterpreted as a conservative ℓ 2 -gain analysis of a discretetime piecewise linear system based on common quadratic storage/Lyapunov functions. These new insights are obtained by the adopted lifting-based perspective on this problem, which leads to computable L 2 -gain (and thus L 2 -gain) conditions, despite the fact that the linearity assumption, which is usually needed in the lifting literature, is not satisfied.

Pay-how-you-drive(PHYD), which has already been recognized as the most promising differentiated commercial vehicle insurance product in usage based insurance(UBI), can objectively analyze the risk level of each insured vehicle by analyzing its driving style from raw data collected by on-board diagnosis(OBD) module set up on it. Finding certain kinds of driving styles, or risk modes from raw data for insured vehicles, is very important for the insurance companies to get a rough understand of the types of each contract holders and to do the preliminary premium actuary work. Consider that there is a lack of theory basis for driving styles, or risk modes identification and their effect analysis in quantity, in this paper, in order to quantify the effect of different risk modes, and consider that the effect evaluation might be under fuzzy or uncertainty conditions, a fuzzy risk mode and effect analysis(FRMEA) method which can be applied in the early stage of premium actuary for PHYD insurance product is proposed, by setting 4 key indices including occurrence, severity, testability and preventability, and by referencing the grading results from a group of experts, the effect grades of several different risk modes have been given and described via fuzzy triangular numbers.
