To create a platform for the Marine IoT for ensuring the interaction and digital navigation of heterogeneous marine robotic agents, it is necessary to combine into one network heterogeneous robotic agents, active and passive means of communication and illumination of the underwater and surface environment (marine communication buoys, underwater sonar stations, coastal connection posts). For their joint work, it is necessary to create a communication system unifying all elements of the platform, an integrated navigation and information management system for solving complex problems of navigation and motion control of robotic agents included in the platform to implement a joint mission. To do this, it is necessary to define the architecture of the platform to use a unified approach to data exchange.

This text presents a study of the causes of employee termination in organizations. Using employee data such as age, gender, marital status, monthly income, education, and others, an analysis was conducted using neural network algorithms (Kohonen maps) and Decision Trees. The results showed that both methods were suitable for analysis, but the neural network method showed the lowest error (7.4%). The analysis allowed to identify the most significant factors such as monthly income, age of employees, marital status and years of employment with the company. The analysis will help to optimize the process of predicting employee dismissal and save resources on unnecessary analyses.

Reliability is a crucial aspect of non-volatile NAND flash memories, and it is essential to thoroughly analyze the channel to prevent errors and ensure accurate readout. Es-timating the read reference voltages (RRV s) is a significant challenge due to the multitude of physical effects involved. The question arises which features are useful and necessary for the RRV estimation. Various possible features require specialized hardware or specific readout techniques to be usable. In contrast we consider sparse histograms based on the decision thresholds for hard-input and soft-input decoding. These offer a distinct advantage as they are derived directly from the raw readout data without the need for decoding. This paper focuses on the information-theoretic study of different features, especially on the exploration of the mutual information (MI) between feature vector and RRV. In particular, we investigate the dependency of the MI on the resolution of the histograms. With respect to the RRV estimation, sparse histograms provide sufficient information for near-optimum estimation.

DenseSplat: Densifying Gaussian Splatting SLAM with Neural Radiance Prior

Gaussian SLAM systems excel in real-time rendering and fine-grained reconstruction compared to NeRF-based systems. However, their reliance on extensive keyframes is impractical for deployment in real-world robotic systems, which typically operate under sparse-view conditions that can result in substantial holes in the map. To address these challenges, we introduce DenseSplat, the first SLAM system that effectively combines the advantages of NeRF and 3DGS. DenseSplat utilizes sparse keyframes and NeRF priors for initializing primitives that densely populate maps and seamlessly fill gaps. It also implements geometry-aware primitive sampling and pruning strategies to manage granularity and enhance rendering efficiency. Moreover, DenseSplat integrates loop closure and bundle adjustment, significantly enhancing frame-to-frame tracking accuracy. Extensive experiments on multiple large-scale datasets demonstrate that DenseSplat achieves superior performance in tracking and mapping compared to current state-of-the-art methods. © 2025, CC BY.

The article considers the problem of the influence of coal generation on the ecology of Krasnoyarsk. Coal-fired generation is one of the main sources of pollution of the city. The level of ecology reflects the quality and standard of living of the population. In the developed countries of the world, ecology is given a significant priority in solving many economic problems. The specifics of the fuel and energy balance are such that more than 90% of all energy consumption is carried out through the use of coal. When burning coal, a lot of harmful substances are released, which have a great impact on the ecology of the city. This paper presents possible solutions: 1) Raising the pipe of the combined heat and power plant (CHP);2) Gasification of the Krasnoyarsk CHP. The issue of conducting gas in Krasnoyarsk is considered. The analysis of the above-mentioned solutions is also carried out. The calculation of the costs for lifting the pipe, as well as for gasification, was carried out. Comparative tables of "emissions from coal and gas"and "costs and efficiency between pipe lifting and gasification"are given. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that these solutions can be used. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposes a high-level path planning strategy under Time Petri net (TPN) formalism for a multiagent system, which is subject to Metric Interval Temporal Logic (MITL) specifications. The work aims to design a scalable model with respect to the number of agents, as the MITL formula requires multiple agents to ensure similar tasks. The obtained model is denoted Composed Time Petri net and it couples two TPN representations assigned to the motion of the agents, respectively to the MITL specification. The planning approach is based on model-checking methods and the results are evaluated on a case study applied in robotics industry.

This paper studies the problem of stabilizing a self-triggered control system with quantized output. Employing a standard observer-based state feedback control law, a self-triggering mechanism that dictates the next sampling time based on quantized output is co-developed with an output encoding scheme. If, in addition, the transmission protocols at the controller-to-actuator (C-A) and sensor-to-controller (S-C) channels can be adapted, the self-triggered control architecture can be considerably simplified, leveraging a delicate observer-based deadbeat controller to eliminate the need for running the controller in parallel at the encoder side. To account for denial-of-service (DoS) in the S-C channel, the proposed output encoding and self-triggered control schemes are further made resilient. It is shown that a linear time-invariant system can be exponentially stabilized if some conditions on the average DoS duration time are met. There is a trade-off between the maximum inter-sampling time and the resilience against DoS attacks. Finally, a numerical example is presented to demonstrate the practical merits of the proposed self-triggered control schemes and associated theory. © 2023, CC BY.

In the era where Web3.0 values data security and privacy, adopting groundbreaking methods to enhance privacy in recommender systems is crucial. Recommender systems need to balance privacy and accuracy, while also having the ability to overcome cold start problems. The Differential Trust Mechanism (DTM) introduced in this paper is such an approach. The DTM provides a unique use of Gaussian distributions in modeling trust relationships within data, offering a novel way to balance recommendation accuracy with user privacy. This mechanism innovatively applies differential privacy principles, using Gaussian noise addition to protect individual user data from inference attacks, while maintaining the integrity and utility of the overall dataset. Unlike traditional anonymization techniques that often compromise data utility or vulnerability to reverse engineering, DTM provides a robust solution by dynamically adjusting privacy levels based on the trustworthiness of data requests. By combining DTM with existing mainstream recommendation algorithms, the prediction accuracy of MAE and RMSE increases by at least 6.60% and 2.69%, respectively. This dual benefit positions DTM as a significant advancement in secure data processing, especially relevant for online businesses and platforms where personalized recommendations are crucial yet privacy concerns are paramount. © 2005-2012 IEEE.

To directly investigate the dynamic nanoscale phenomenon on the surface being processed in wet conditions such as precision polishing, and cleaning in semiconductor industrial, an optical method for visualization and observation of each sub-100 nm sized particle that is moving on an interface such as a silica glass surface by applying an evanescent field have been proposing. Subsequently, we developed an experimental apparatus equipped with an optical microscopy system for verifying the moving particle observation method in a laboratory scale. This article introduces some experimentally direct observation results of duplicated wet processes. © 2024 IEEE.
