In this work, the morphological and optical properties of the cadmium (II) bis(8-hydroxyquinoline) (Cdq2) thin film are presented. The film was elaborated by physical deposition technique. The Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) image shows a homogenous surface. The transmittance was measured in the range of 300–1200 nm with UV–visible spectroscopy. The emission of the film was characterized via the photoluminescence spectroscopy, a strong luminescence has been found. The measurements done at low temperatures show a decrease of the intensity of luminescence in the temperature range of 77–300 K. © 2022

Smart manufacturing systems combine collaborative and autonomous control systems to provide optimal performance and respond to volatile demands. A key component of smart manufacturing is material management, as raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products must be transported to the right location at the right time. However, during the production phase, it is imperative to establish an optimal traffic control scheme in order to avoid congestion and optimize material flow. This paper proposes a platooning-based control procedure implemented in a virtual agent-based manufacturing environment to increase the material flow efficiency on a manufacturing shop floor. An analysis of the production makespan and an indicator of the level of congestion in the material handling system was conducted in order to determine productivity improvements. An agent-based simulation is used to test the effectiveness of the novel platooning approach versus a traditional basic approach. A multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) reveals that the inclusion of a platoon-based procedure improves production performance and reduces congestion risks.

Detecting sitting posture abnormalities in wheelchair users enables early identification of changes in their functional status. To date, this detection has relied on in-person observation by medical specialists. However, given the challenges faced by health specialists to carry out continuous monitoring, the development of an intelligent anomaly detection system is proposed. Unlike other authors, where they use supervised techniques, this work proposes using unsupervised techniques due to the advantages they offer. These advantages include the lack of prior labeling of data, and the detection of anomalies previously not contemplated, among others. In the present work, an individualized methodology consisting of two phases is developed: characterizing the normal sitting pattern and determining abnormal samples. An analysis has been carried out between different unsupervised techniques to study which ones are more suitable for postural diagnosis. It can be concluded, among other aspects, that the utilization of dimensionality reduction techniques leads to improved results. Moreover, the normality characterization phase is deemed necessary for enhancing the system's learning capabilities. Additionally, employing an individualized approach to the model aids in capturing the particularities of the various pathologies present among subjects.

The article considers the problem of the influence of coal generation on the ecology of Krasnoyarsk. Coal-fired generation is one of the main sources of pollution of the city. The level of ecology reflects the quality and standard of living of the population. In the developed countries of the world, ecology is given a significant priority in solving many economic problems. The specifics of the fuel and energy balance are such that more than 90% of all energy consumption is carried out through the use of coal. When burning coal, a lot of harmful substances are released, which have a great impact on the ecology of the city. This paper presents possible solutions: 1) Raising the pipe of the combined heat and power plant (CHP); 2) Gasification of the Krasnoyarsk CHP. The issue of conducting gas in Krasnoyarsk is considered. The analysis of the above-mentioned solutions is also carried out. The calculation of the costs for lifting the pipe, as well as for gasification, was carried out. Comparative tables of "emissions from coal and gas" and "costs and efficiency between pipe lifting and gasification" are given. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that these solutions can be used.

The governing equations are the Navier-Stokes equations for viscous calorically perfect gas. Second order finite volume discretization is applied to the problem on arbitrary unstructured grids with implicit temporal treatment. The problem is solved using the Newton-Raphson method. Such methods require the solution of large linear systems with iterative solvers and require a preconditioning operator to converge. In this paper a well known Lower-Upper Symmetric Gauss Seidel (LU-SGS) preconditioner is applied. The new method is based on the tricky reordering for the factored Jacobi matrix that allows one to execute block triangular matrix solvers on GPUs in parallel without the loss of algebraic properties of the original non-factored operator. Good convergence properties are demonstrated for large scale problems of external aerodynamics with Courant number around 1000 - 10000 for flows with Mach number around 13-25. The influence of the non-orthogonal corretions on the fluxes for highly scewed anisotropic grids is demonstrated at Mach numbers around 20. It is shown that the non-orthogonality corrections are of the second infinitesimal order compared to the effects of the shock fix influence on the heat fluxes on the body. © 2020 Institute of Physics Publishing. The article presents the construction of a regression model based on information about the number of computer game players in the world and finding factors that affect the growth of this indicator. To avoid inadequacy of the model, outliers and factors that are strongly related to each other were excluded after formatting the data - thus, multicollinearity was excluded in this regression analysis. The main goal of the article is to build a linear regression model that will reflect all the coefficients needed to write the function for predicting the number of players in the world, assess the adequacy of the constructed model, and evaluate the residuals of comparing the predicted number of players with real data. If an adequate model is achieved (measuring the F-test, P-significance and R-square), in which the residuals of the predicted number and the real number will be close to zero, it is acceptable to assume that it can be used to predict the number of players in the world for the next year.

To directly investigate the dynamic nanoscale phenomenon on the surface being processed in wet conditions such as precision polishing, and cleaning in semiconductor industrial, an optical method for visualization and observation of each sub-100 nm sized particle that is moving on an interface such as a silica glass surface by applying an evanescent field have been proposing. Subsequently, we developed an experimental apparatus equipped with an optical microscopy system for verifying the moving particle observation method in a laboratory scale. This article introduces some experimentally direct observation results of duplicated wet processes.

An iterative procedure for selecting features for classifying observations is proposed. The main principles of the proposed iterative procedure are ranking and selection of features according to the frequency of their use when constructing logical patterns based on the method of logical analysis of data. A simulation model of a simple supply chain consisting of a single distribution center and several points of sale was created. Initially, a new model was created with the name "Suplly Chain" and watches as units of model time. Next, a GIS (geographic information system) map was added to the diagram of the main object using the standard display settings. The distributor properties were defined and it marked the distribution point on the map. Next, retailers were added to the map: using the OpenStreetMap online server, to which AnyLogic sends addresses and receives coordinates and automatically arranges retailers. Manually added the properties of retailers. The next step was to create a model of trucks and their movement logic is set. To do this, a state diagram was used, with the help of which a diagram of the state of the logic of trucks was obtained. Using the New Agent Wizard, add a new agent type – order. It also changed the status chart to display order information. The created model was supplemented, where time was added for unloading and loading trucks from retailers. A basic simulation model of supply chains was built, and ideas for improving this model were considered.
