This review investigates the latest advancements in intelligent Network-on-Chip (NoC) architectures, focusing on innovations from 2022 to 2024. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) into NoC designs has driven significant improvements in performance, scalability, energy efficiency, and security. Key contributions include AI/ML-driven techniques to optimize routing, reduce latency, manage power consumption, and enhancing security against emerging threats. Despite these advancements, challenges such as computational overhead and integration complexities remain. Continuous real-time blood pressure monitoring offers remarkable potential for the detection of cardiovascular disease. In fact, detection from an inflatable cuff makes the patient uncomfortable as a consequence of the inflation pressure of the cuff on the arm, which causes failures in detecting the results or errors in interpreting the systolic blood pressure values and diastolic blood pressure. In this contribution, we present an automatic system to predict the blood pressure signal based on the complexity analysis of the ECG signal, where the features extracted are signal mobility, signal complexity, fractal dimension, entropy, and autocorrelation with the neural network approach (ANN). Our technique is mainly tested on the MIMIC-III databases available to the public on physionet to have the ECG and ABP signals for feature extraction. The results provided argue in favor of our method in terms of efficiency and precision. Recent innovations in devices, circuits, and systems have resulted in the widespread use of parallel and in-memory architectures for energy-efficient computing. However, the choice of signal representation within these architectures has received less attention. Nevertheless, computing using analog variables is known to be fundamentally more resource-efficient for low-and moderate-precision operations, making it of interest for applications, such as inference and real-time control, where high precision is not a requirement. However, well-known difficulties with scalability, programambility, and memory access have im-peded the realization of integrated analog computers (ACs) that can utilize these fundamental advantages. This paper provides a tutorial-style review of state-of-the-art integrated ACs and their advantages, including ultra-low latency and high energy-efficiency, for solving selected problems where clocked digital architectures are not resource-efficient.
